This will probably seem stupid, but I rolled an Ele yesterday (Apparently I like underpowered classes. I rolled a Ranger recently too) and I just can’t get the muscle memory for hitting the F1-4 keys down, so I was wondering what keybinds you use.
I don’t have an MMO mouse, and the only spare buttons on mine are bound to my Push To Talk and tab targeting, so I can’t bind them to that, but other than that, just looking for some advice.
I’ve been kind of wanting to roll a necro, but I’m holding off on it because the part that really interested me was the minions. Apparently I like all the UP classes. Recently, I also rolled a Ranger and an Ele.
I’ll admit, I haven’t rolled an Ele yet. I came to these forums in prep to roll one today. But I will say this. On my highest level toon, a Guardian, I hit 60 without unlocking all the skills. I picked a weapon set I liked and stuck with it.
About 60, I decided to carry one of each weapon with me, and I found out I didn’t have ANY mace skills, shield skills, or focus skills unlocked, so I went to grind. It’s literally one kill, one skill at that level. You don’t even have to wait as long as I did to get to that point.
I just started my current Ranger, but on the last Beta Weekend, I had a pet for most of the major My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic characters.

Also, in the last BWE, I had a one-person guild just so I could have the guild tag [MLP] after my name and all my pets.
I’ve specced for Spirit Weapons and Burning Damage. It’s pretty fun, but I’m so squishy, it’s ridiculous. I’m considering switching to a tankier build, but mah sword and hammer are just too cool!
But yeah, seriously. Spirit Weapons need a buff. In exchange for giving up so many good stats in order to buff our Spirit Weapons, we should be near-broken when they’re all up at once, in exchange for being so useless when they’re down.
An interesting spec I went with back in one of the BWEs was an Asuran Ranger. You had the versatility of a Ranger, but then if you took Radiation Field, you also had to decide if you wanted to drop it on a group of mobs, or in front of them and Volley through it. It might not be exactly what you’re looking for, bit it’s a fun dynamic.
Made my Norn as tall as possible, and as beefy as possible. And a thief. And I level him in Metrica Province.

Haven’t done the darkroom in WvW yet, but I did the pirate darkroom by dropping AoEs everywhere. Smite on Guardian scepter has an effect it puts on the ground, so you can see the shape of platforms.
Just wanted to say that I love the community for this game. I was doing the Mistwraught Vault jumping puzzle with my friends, and some Invaders came in. Instead of fighting, or chasing us off, we all helped each other through the puzzle, using AoEs to point out the next jump and things like that.
Just wanted to say that it’s awesome that the community can do something like this, instead of instantly attacking Invaders on sight.
Of course, we had to convince our party’s necro not to fear them off the ledges, but whatever.
I literally made a Norn Thief with the height all the way up, and the beefiest body type just to level him in Metrica province. So many lulz.

Wuuut? Human /dance sucks? Guess they have no taste in music than.. Nor have they seen Party Rock Anthem Music Video.
As someone who absolutely cannot stand LMFAO, I still love the Human dance. I feel shame.
