Actually it exactly resembles a saber.

Noted. I figured scimitars and sabres would look more or less similar since he mentioned both. Even so, the sabres handles are far too short to compare to this, aren’t they? Not to mention the hand guard…

The blade hardly resembles either of those
Well it’s the sexiest sword skin I’ve ever seen, and I wants ets. Precious
It’s been almost 3 years that I’ve been waiting on the Stalwart set to make a comeback. I need that shoulder piece to finish my look. What really boggles me is why they haven’t made the set available yet, it’s already in the game. Like, really, what’s the big effing deal?? There have been countless requests for these sets, and Anet hasn’t even bothered to mention why they’re not putting them back. I’d just like to hear from Anet, even if it’s a “we’re never going to make them obtainable”. At least I’ll have some closure.
To be totally honest, the current pets players can have are, to put it bluntly, uncool. Dogs, cats, birds, bugs, lizards and bears. How bout a friggin Teragriff? Now that’s a beast.
On that note, I know mounts aren’t Guild Wars’ thing, but it’d be totally awesome for Rangers to have this class specific pet-mounting skill. Like, imagine a “tier” of pets which are mountable, and mounting them would be an elite skill. While mounted, you gain bonus passives (Precision, atk/movement speed increase). Also, mounting your pet is only possible if the Ranger is equipping a bow. This way, there’s more incentive to using a bow Ranger. It gives Ranger’s that feeling of “class expertise”, a feeling that I believe has been lost with the fact that a warrior can also wield a longbow.
I know this’ll probably never happen, but it’s just a fun way to liven up the system. It doesn’t make the class suddenly overpowered, as it would just grant passives that can already be gained via other elite skills. All it does (for the most part) is add some pizzazz to the Ranger/pet dynamic.

I just got back from a long break, and saw a player run by me with a katana on her person. I kind of went ape finding out that it’s no longer available.
Give me another chance, Anet, I’ve got money ;_;
That’s just terrible. Why are they rendering some armor sets as unattainable? These sets are already designed, they already have their in-game models created, its just a matter of making them available. I’ve read posts as old as 11 months ago about people asking for the return of the set. Why has this not been addressed? There are a few PvP sets that just can’t be attained anymore.
Just need a confirmation. The wiki vaguely states that the stalwart armor set can be found in PvP reward boxes, or crafted in the mystic forge. Now, I don’t know if this means the whole set will be crafted, or if there’s a random chance at a piece of the set. In any case, other sources (though dated) say that the set is no longer attainable. I specifically want the stalwart shoulder piece.
Any help would greatly appreciated
Title says it all. Hasn’t anyone noticed how the Molten Shortbow, Greatsword, Warhorn, etc, all have “flaming” animations, whereas the Longbow simply has a still image of what should be flames in motion. It’s not a game-breaking bug in any way, of course, but it sure looks terrible. It’s been this way for as long as I can remember.
As an added note, there’s a group of enemies by the light tower who can be damaged and killed, but all the same nothing comes from it.
I have the same problem, and it’s infuriating, to say the least. I’ve literally swam around the map to Claw Island’s base, and obviously, nothing was happening, as the progression of the mission dictates that the gates must be opened first.
