I think you dropped a decimal point somewhere along the way. It’s always been around 400 Gems per 1 Gold. That has varied 10 to 20 Gems, but not dropped 390!

Is it in fact possible to craft any aqua breathers/helmets? If so, what, how and where do you get the recipes?

In Caledon Forest, the Bandits give up a good amount of leather scraps in the bags they drop. Also the Drakes in the lake areas drop leather scraps. I have not found Caledon Forest to be a great place for leather drops.

I’d move to Queensdale and farm the Bandits and Centaurs for leather.

there doesn’t appear to be one. The widest audience you can chat to is /map. This will send your chat message out to everyone on the map/zone you are currently in. /say is for your immediate area.

Tooltip says you can only transmute weapons and armor of the same type.

If you are a crafter, you’ll find that most of the time it’s better to simply salvage the items you craft rather then vend them or put them up on TP for 1c over vend value. At least that way you get some of the mats back to keep crafting with!

If you are talking about two characters that are not your own alts, then you can use the mail system.

I don’t honestly know much about Legendaries, other that they are end game crafting. I believe the Mystic Forge is involved in crafting them in some way.

As was mentioned above, be sure to seek out the Scouts. Look for the spyglass on your map and them go interact with them. They will give you a lot of info about the area you are in, and what quests might be available.

Once you become crafting lvl 400 in your chosen discipline, you can attempt to craft legendaries. They are supposed to have awesome skins!

Tooltip on gw2db says that you have to be lvl 20. If you’re not, that could be why it doesn’t show up.

You can also craft items with the specific stats you want. Where drops are random stats.

Yes. Go to the tab that shows your purchases, use drop down menu to change to your buying list and click remove.

Rememember you need better quality transmutation stone for better quality gear transmutation.

That’s really only true for lvl 80. All other levels can use the basic transmutation stone.

You’re almost there. That becomes available at 75
