I’m all for patching the game and making it more fun… but come on ANet! Give us more than 10 seconds warning to bail out of WvW!

I had problems getting the ghost to show up, even after the mini-patch this morning. Apparently lots of people spamming their scanner at once messes it up, but she eventually showed up (just a few minutes) and I got to talk to her.

I’m at work, so I can’t give exact locations/details, but there is an NPC in Lion’s Arch (Asura if I remember right) that you talk to. That person gives you a scanner to look for ghostly stuff. Using that shows you a ghost right behind her that starts you off.

Far as I know that’s the beginning.

This weekend was my first foray into WvWvW (I am on Tarnished Coast) as well. Even though I got rolled over and over at times, and probably spent more on repairs than I would like to admit… I had a blast.

Standing on a wall shooting a cannon or arrow cart at an invading force, hoping to take them out before they take you out is a rush!

A lot of good fighting this weekend between large teams of TC vs. DB and FA. Very chaotic and fun

That youtube link is from a few weeks ago. Has this happened this week yet? I haven’t heard any orb hacks this week yet on any server. I am wondering if Anet quietly smashed all the wannabe heroes out there?

I didn’t witness it personally, but apparently it happened this weekend in the TC/FA/DB matchup. Lot of people talking about it in BL chat

I’m trying to get charged lodestones for my level 80 armor (not legendary). Spent an hour and a half killing sparks in Malchor’s and got not a single drop. Given that the sparks are only up when other events have been completed, I feel this is too low a drop rate.

And these are for level 80 armor. These are not for legendary weapons. Rare is one thing, impossible is another.

I love the events that have multiple parts. A lot of them start out so innocently by helping someone fix something, or whatever, and by the end you’re raiding another village, or something nearly epic. The one in Metrica Province that ends up spawning the Fire Elemental is one such quest, but there are hundreds of them around. They’re great!

I love the instant restart, don’t get me wrong. But if the server is going to force everyone off in 3 minutes, and a dragon spawns that takes 5-10 minutes to kill (or longer depending on which dragon and # of people available) at least let it be up when you get back in.

I’m just frustrated

I’ve multi-boxed other games. I have no problems with multi-boxers. If there is a live person there, controlling all the characters, I don’t mind that at all.

The automated, scripted bots should be nuked though

Someone on Tarnished Coast suggested last night that if a suspected bot receives 100 reports, it should be automatically flagged PvP.

So, Tequatl spawned and a few dozen brave adventurers attacked him in earnest. As we began turning the battle to our control, we saw the ominous message “A new client is available. 3 Minutes to restart”

Bah!!

We redoubled our efforts, everyone slinging every magic spell and ability they had at the beast. We got him down to less than 10% before the restart and of course when we come back, he’s gone.

Really? Only 3 minutes warning?
