They said that they observe the behavior to try to come up with ways to combat it, then do mass bannings.
So just report those you think are botting and move on with your game.
I was responding to Spider lol…
Maybe it’s your internet connection.
Just saying… because we were defending a supply camp with about a dozen players, and coming up the path were about 2 dozen enemies… I could see all of them and could most definitely see the ones who killed me.
Laugh all you want, but I have never been killed by an invisible toon in WvWvW.
It sounds like you need to upgrade your computer.
That’s what I hated about questing in WoW…. being led around by the nose. Go here, do these quests, then go there, do those quests…
And that’s what I love about GW2… I can just wander around and it feels like stuff comes and finds me instead of the other way around.

Typically, what the developers do when they find a ‘bot’ is to observe what they are doing and how they are doing it so they can take steps or change code to prevent it. This takes time.
Other games have done the same thing… learn what the bots are doing, make a fix for it, then do mass bannings.
Server connection was lost for a whole 10 minutes… whoop de doo.
I will agree, though, on the bugged skill challenges and events.
