The thread title made me think of this song again :P http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZaaCgbfDtRk
Maybe I should use it as my Norns’ theme from now on…
Not content with only one Norn, I finally made my Engineer to go along with my Warrior. I think she turned out quite well imho…
Took a lot of hoarding to manage to keep all those armor pieces from the personal story, but I think it was worth it…
There’s a heart vendor in northern Harathi Hinterlands (near one of the big Centaur camps there) that has all the Modniir (Centaur) weapon skins available for karma.
What about buffs to each member of the party if all the party members are skritt?
Fear Not This Night plays after the Sovereign fight when you defend Trahearne from the Risen. The song during the Sovereign fight is called “The Seraph”.
It was actually meant to be only 4 Norn, but one of the characters’ daughter wanted to come along :P
Already announced in the other thread: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/players/Dawn-s-giveaway-winner-selected
Congratulations for the winner
They’re not human, so they don’t have to follow human anatomy.
The first crafted rares are lvl 35, and the rare drops only start around that level too, so only the lack of masterwork (green) stuff is a bit boggling.
Just logged off from Gandara for some food, have been playing the whole evening without any login problems… are you using Peerblock or similar programs?
Yes, they are in a cave underwater, but still in the location marked by the event.
I created a separate chat tab that shows combat information, it shows pretty handily what’s hitting you with what and for how much.
“risen illusionist hit you for 1397 with “.” "
“risen illusionist hit you for 1397 with “.” "
“risen illusionist hit you for 1397 with “.” "
“risen illusionist hit you for 1397 with “.” "“risen mage hit you for 1534 with “.” "
“risen mage hit you for 1534 with “.” "
“risen mage hit you for 1534 with “.” "
“risen mage hit you for 1534 with “.” "Real helpful ;p
At leasts it tells you the Mage is the bigger threat so you should take care of it before the Illusionist :P

Did you try the Asura Lab in the middle/western edge of Timberline Falls?
Many armors show glossiness on higher graphical settings, even Sylvari Racial armors, but on lower settings I’ve found the “Dark” heavy armor from higher level Karma vendors is pretty shiny at least.
Many of the Databases give Dhuumseal the same skin as the OP posted, but looks like it’s different ingame then… http://www.guildhead.com/item/27338/dhuumseal-of-rage#model-viewer
I’ve seen that skin on the Greatsword “Dhuumseal” try searching for it on the TP, it’s one of the named Exotics that can be randomly gained from the Mystic Forge.
I didn’t have any problems with my max height female Engineer, but I can imagine the broader shoulders of the males and Charr would get in the way.
That effect means either the health regeneration from the healing signet, or the one provided by one of your traits.
I have a Norn Warrior and a Norn Engineer as well
There are no visible backpacks besides the Engineer one and the Guild backpacks, though we can hope they’ll add capes etc. in the future. (the personal story ones go under your armor)
It’s mainly the sigil though since 2-handers have better stats that are usually about equal to a mainhand + offhand together.
So instead of tweaking one “broken” class they should tweak the other 7?
There is a big difference between positive tweaks and negative tweaks. Maybe you don’t mind having your class nerfed, or is it you get pleasure from seeing classes you don’t play nerfed? That is bully mentality.
I don’t mind nerfs or buffs either way, since I don’t PvP, and in PvE the so-called underwhelming or “nerfed” skills still seem to perform well. I’m just saying that it’s easier and takes less work to tweak a skill from one profession that has been found overpowered through gathered data (and not just forum whine) into a more balanced version than trying to figure out counterbalance through changing skills on 7 professions.
The “Duelist” armor in PVE is not the same skin as the Duelist in the PVP locker, the one you pictured is from Karma vendors around the world.
So instead of tweaking one “broken” class they should tweak the other 7?
Talus Chute used to be a popular area in the first game, partly due to that cave being filled with trolls that people farmed all the time. After Mount Maelstrom erupted the area thawed and is now a “waterslide” instead of a “chute” :P Not sure if it has any other value than just a landmark though.

I’ve always thought it was the humans with the cute dollfaces, many people prefer Norn not just because of the bustsize but also due to the more mature faces. Not to mention there’s at least one face with actual scars, and many of the tattoos show on the face as well.
I like the t3 medium shoulders, and planning on getting those to go with the rest as t2 on my Engineer.
Engineers can use a shield too, but only with a pistol… as Glitch mentioned the playstyles vary a lot between the two s&b users so it’s up to you to decide which you like more, although many people are urging for a change in the Guardian shield to take the focus #5 skill so Guards could actually block with the shield as well.
Yeah the crafted Bandit rifle looks like a shotgun, also the crafted Ogre Blaster has a similar shape to shotguns.
I agree with the the #5 skill switch, I’ve had a few whispers from people not familiar with guardians asking me why I have shield icons around me although I don’t carry a shield…
Here’s my lowbie lvl 30 guardian, already posted on the Sylvari thread but what the kitten, planning on possibly joining the Priory for the “glass-like” weapons and shield.
There were prestige (expensive) skins in the first game, and looks like they brought them back on this one too :P Of course the quality of the cultural sets vary a lot, also depending on personal taste (for instance I hate the Charr medium sets, but I like most of the heavy sets across the different races).
Played 270 Hours the game Develepors my 20 wishes for you to work on.

You can see when the people in your friend list log in if you check the box next to “game messages” in the Tab Options in the chat panel (press the small gear next to the name of the tab).
They already have a known issues thread stickied, check https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/professions/necromancer/Necromancer-bugs-compilation-1/first The devs are already looking at Necros closely.
The Durmand Priory faction vendor seems to have some of those glassy weapons and shield, not sure if that GS is one of them.
Items From Crafting Should be a bit Stronger to Compete with Drops

Remember that you can get recipes for Rare inscriptions from your Crafting master, those will allow you to make Rare weapons/armor (didn’t see any for copper tier though…)
Not all of the champions have chests after the fight, but I’ve seen many people missing a chest when it was a regular-sized one located in a “natural location” near the champion in the spawn area, and not a huge shiny one like after some event chains… Had to yell them to come back and collect their loot
