You’re probably reading it wrong… Living Story season 2 ended with the Pact Fleet getting attacked, LS3 will start sometime after the story of HoT.
Arah Dungeon armor with the Ascended Reaper Greatsword and the Reaper’s Hood, the latter two of which are opened through the Elite Specialization track. The Ascended Greatsword involves a collection though.
you cant preview a dye you dont have on an armor you dont have lol
You can preview all the skins in the game from the wardrobe tab in the bank, and you can also preview all the dyes from the TP.
No, it takes you all around the world, as Mordremoth’s influence starts to spread.
Miss Strong’s video and the original Destiny’s Edge/Race video from before the game launched are the only VO actor videos there’s been so far… If the new team will be around for an expansion I’d expect something around then :P
It was a part of the previous living story patch before the current part, as it was Scarlett’s weapon test for further developments in the next two patches. The current marionette event will most likely be removed with the next patch as many are expecting to see several of them attacking Lion’s Arch :P
It has been a lot of fun though so I’m definitely going to enjoy it while I can as well.

I don’t have a male with the armor, but my female ranger likes her Aetherized armor and t3 cultural weapons:
Cultural weapons are not bound by race so no transmutation required.
Oh! Good to know. I will have to take a look around now, since the human cultural weapons are pretty boring IMO.
You might want to transmute the weapons onto Exotic weapons though, since the cultural stuff are all Rare quality items.
I only keep around 30-40g in my bank, always spending the extra on weapon/armor skins for my 8 characters…
Rares don’t appear on crafting recipes, cultural armor vendors or drops until lvl 35 either, so I don’t think the lvl 40 minimum is that bad.
After you become a full member of the Order of Whispers, it’s purchasable in the main base :P
The Coat in both pictures is the crafted Rascal coat. The shoulders on the second pic are indeed the Orr Karma shoulders, and the the shoulders from the top pic are from the personal story. Headpieces on both pics can be crafted, although the one on the top pic can also be gained at Engineer character creation.
Bringing condition removal also helps, along with kiting behind the pillars to heal as suggested before, since the Eye’s only nasty part is the stacks of confusion/vulnerability the gaze attack produces.
Volcanus, Wintersbite and Mjolnir are already available through the Mystic Forge, and they all require some of the same Gifts that the Legendary weapons require, so you do need max crafting to make those… of course there’s nothing in game to require all the 8 crafting professions at max to make (yet). Some new unique crafting recipes would be most welcome.
There’s chances of lodestones and a unique minipet, lots of Karma bottles that can be used to “transfer” karma to your other characters in a way, and of course even a little bit of silver helps.
It always reminded me of the crafted Masquerade set, but haven’t done that path on a light armor character yet so haven’t been able to compare it closer… http://gw2armorgallery.com/armour/human/human-light-craft-masquerade-male.jpg
Remember that you can also get just the runes with the Dungeon tokens, from the same vendor that gives the armor and weapons as well.
Hey guys! I am still a little confused :-/ How do I get this armor? I keep seeing everywhere that I get it from Karma merchants in Fireheart Rise. Is that true? I saw on GW2Wiki that the armors the karma merchants offer are part of the PVP Dark Armor? But I am looking for the PVE Version of the Tactical Armor.
The Dark armor is the heavy armor equivalent, the same heart vendors sell light and medium armors as well.
I sayed only as I see it. I dont play this 24/7 cuz i have studies and all other life stuff, but saying this because things are (by my thinking) little expensive
Thanks for reply guys!
There really isn’t a need to be fully equipped with exotics from the get-go, and you can get far with just Rare, or even Masterwork-quality gear, especially if you play less as you mentioned. For masterwork gear, check the TP or the Karma vendors in Cursed Shore.
You don’t have to run TA to get whatever armor you are trying to get…you can craft armors with the same stats. But that requires farming mats, which, I guess would be “too much work” for you. I don’t know what to tell you.
No, you can’t craft the Rabid stat combination (Condition Damage>Precision=Toughness) But luckily they just added new jewelry for it in Dwayna’s Temple in Orr… The Karma needed for the Temple armor will take a while, but if you do the daily achievements for the Karma Jugs and drink them while under Karma boosts, the amount is very much reachable. If you do even a few runs of TA, you can buy some of the parts with the dungeon tokens (ie. the 180 token parts) and buy the more expensive parts (token-wise) with Karma (since all the pieces are the same 42k karma per piece). Remember, you get karma for doing the dungeon as well.
Are you sure it’s a bot and not just a player who has parked a character next to that node? (I have 4 lvl 80 characters parked by the Rich Ori node in Southsun Cove as I don’t play them actively)
From Colin Johanson’s latest MMORPG.com livestream chat:
“Orr
-For Jan update , we are thinning out the density of mobs in Orr, making some more waypoints always active, and adding some more new rewards – from vendors, from drops.
-We also tweaked some of the bosses in temples to make them a bit more exciting for larger groups.
-We didn’t complete rebuild Orr but we tweaked it a little bit."

The availability of the tribal race choices is based on your character’s race. Only Humans, Charr and Sylvari get to pick Skritt to help/study.
The sentient construct idea was previously explored in the plane of Eberron in D&D by the introduction of the Warforged: http://forgottenrealms.wikia.com/wiki/Warforged
The only race to actually have the technology and level of magic able to create constructs this advanced in the game are the Asura, and at least according to the M.I.G. personal storyline the technology is not very stable at the time of the current story.

17. is a bit of a moot point since each NPC has a dialogue that tells which dungeon he/she is related to, and each dungeon drops their unique token already.
Also, you can definitely survive with even the lvl 76-78 exotics found a lot cheaper in the TP (originating from people completing the 70+ maps, where those armors are often received as zone completion bonus).
Might also be more demand if people are wanting to max crafting to get achievement points for the new system.
You can’t activate it since you’re in combat. Try killing a dredge or two along the way to the vista and try again. You can see from the pic that you’re in combat since the UI doesn’t show the small arrows that are visible when you can change utility skills etc.
you said AC, SE, HotW for soldiers have the common soldier gear. wondering if any paticuler one is best.
anyways biggest problem is how do i know where to go ascolon i have alot of so wheres thwe vender for the tears i think it is
All of those three dungeon armor sets have the same stats, the only difference is the rune and the looks (and the rune is replaceable of course). The dungeon armor/weapon vendors are in Lion’s Arch near the Fort Marriner waypoint.
This is happening on Riverside aswell. I actually thought ANet did this on purpose so people would start using the pact weapons o_O
Well even the Flamethrowers and Bazookas don’t hit the wall 50-60% of the time…
There’s over 30 different armor sets for each armor type (light, medium, heavy). When you take into account that you can purchase higher level armor from the Trading Post and transmutate the looks into your lower-level stuff, you can mix and match the looks of your armor set quite broadly.
Here’s all the medium sets available (except for the Cultural armor sets available to races other than human): http://img715.imageshack.us/img715/4994/mediumarmorwithnamesfin.jpg

Oola’s lab is in Metrica Province as an event
But yeah, The grove is pretty close to Shards of Orr, albeit a little north west
It is one of her smaller side labs, the real thing was a dungeon in the first game, located west of the current location of Rata Sum (also visible on the map I linked).
The Great Collapse does indeed have those mausoleum-like structures on sides of the cliff, the ruins of Rin were already mentioned, and the understructure of the new Rata Sum could possibly lead to old Oola’s Lab or Arachni’s Haunt (west and southwest of the city, respectively). Now that I look at the nice GW 1/2 comparison map (http://gw2.mmorpg-life.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/guild_wars_2_points_of_interest.jpg), The Grove is almost on top of Shards of Orr as well.
Part of the sound fadeout is most likely due to making the scene more epic by promoting the particular soundtrack piece present (Fear Not This Night, also found on the soundtrack album).
I’m just waiting to get Occam’s Razor as a unique weapon some time in the future :P
You continue receiving skill points after each “level up” after 80. Those skill points can be used on many items needed in Mystic Forge recipes for unique gear.
I’d also take a look at Modniir weapons, available from various locations in Kessex Hills, or all together from one heart vendor in Harathi Highlands: http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Modniir_weapons
Must be a Sand Shark http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6TShf6gp7N4
Yes the small piece is protruding at the front, but it’s not that big a deal since the chest piece is beautiful as well, especially for showing off some tattoos.
Looks like making the head smaller helps as well Too bad there’s currently no chances in making a Terminator armor looking mix… At least the Charr are also competing in trying to recreate Krogan armor from Mass Effect.
For a good no-nonsense mace with no fancy particle effects, and which looks like it’d hurt if it hit you, I’ve started using the Aureate (Adorned) Mace. http://wiki.guildwars2.com/images/d/dd/Aureate_Mace.jpg
Lucked out on a Claw of Jormag chest that allowed me to purchase some more bling for my Warrior, here she is in her current state.
I made the renown heart just before christmas, and there were at least two spirits working, along with the spider spawns and the shade fights while escorting them. Both of their bodies are up the hill to the west of the haunted mansion.
So my question is.
In PvP, you got this sigils that you put in your weapons.
Are this sigils in Pve to?
In Pvp im running with 60% to fcause 5 sec bleeding on crit. Is this in pve to?Are the amuletes from PvP presented in Pve to?
Yes sigils are in PvE as well, and the PvP amulet stats are divided into armor pieces and rings/accessories besides the amulet slot.
That’s a fairly long last name, are you sure you didn’t go over that character limit on the name?
There’s over 30 different armor sets in the game for each armor class, and people like to mix&match various crafted, dungeon, karma and dropped gear according to what they wish their character to look like. Transmutation stones help a lot in getting the look you want, as do sites like gw2armor.com that allows you to browse through your options.
BTW everyone, I’ve never really bothered with Dailies so far. What’s the reward for doing them?
Cheers.
Silver, XP, Mystic Coins for the Mystic Forge, Karma Jug that provides 4500 Karma (boostable with the different consumables and banners etc.) and occasionally some of the other gemstore items (transmutation stones, mystic forge stones etc.). Definitely worth doing them everyday since it doesn’t take that long.

The same way as if someone deletes a character I would think.. that name is freed up right away, right?
When a character is deleted, the name is actually preserved to that account for 24hours so that the person can create the character again if he/she chooses.
For easy enemy variety, I just head out north/northwest from the entrance to Lion’s arch in the Gendarran fields. Fireflies, grubs, pirates, skale, bats, boars, centaurs, fish, rabbits etc. are all within a short walk away.
