One of us put down a treb this close to the wall for fun and… We got the tower. Only one ranger came over and over to defend. Not all of us can have lovely systems that operate at maximum graphics. Been playing on lowest settings since BWE2 and it hasn’t bothered me at all.

On behalf of myself and the other few EDGE members, we’d like to say farewell to Kaineng and Ferg. We’ve enjoyed our roaming fights quite a lot and had plenty of fun with it. I myself have built myself up a rivalry with Envy members over the past week and they’re always great fun to fight, and will be sorely missed. So with that, we wish you both best of luck in the next matchup and enjoy the fresh air from a new opponent. We do hope you remember the good part of DR that isn’t full of empty boasts and excuses. Anyways, farewell, we shall meet again!

Don’t worry, you’re poking fun at no one. Would just like to point out though that letting DR wipe the map today was within the consent of the major guilds fighting in Ferg.

We could’ve held the map if we chose to. But doing that will slow DR in racking points, thus another week of DR/Kain/FC holding hands, and we wouldn’t want that now, do we?

Ferg – if you could have held it you would have, stop making excuses. You had the numbers in there last night but your skirmish strats wont work unless you get to pick the time and place of the fights. It always fails vs coordinated movements, ie: DR map control of Ferg. And if the “major” guilds on Ferg “agreed” to let DR have it, well bro there was sure a heck of a lot of the same guild tags ive been seeing repeatedly in Wv3 still in the fight. Didnt see a change in Ferg defenses last night vs any other night.

I so love how both Ferg/Kain has found an amazing way to rationalize their loss for 10 weeks straight. It boiled down to “we let DR win”. Well let me tell ya what I think:
- if Ferg could have won – it would have
- if Kain could have won – it would have
- 9 weeks ago in the first matchup for domination Kain stood a solid chance to take/hold the coveted #1 position, but couldnt come together as a team
- 4 weeks ago Ferg could have dominated 2nd place, again no teamwork as a server

Both of you can post your grumpy threads on coulda/woulda/shoulda/if i wanna…but the truth is you both were beat. And not recently, you were both beat 9 weeks ago when it all started, ie: before the populations were out of balance. (agree that Ferg did have a slight disadvantage, but not so much it couldnt have been overcome)

All through the thread both servers have stated you’re not letting DR move up…well what happened there? Kain had an awesome shot at #2 which would have led to a tier move shortly after DR…but instead of widening the gap with Ferg, they chose instead to pretty much focus all fights toward DR. Ferg, on getting those mass transfers in that boosted your population to more than Kain, again could have widened the gap, took 2nd and held it. Instead, focused on DR and small group skirmishes in lieu of server progression. You blame DR for everything, and try to puff up small group fighting into some kind of Wv3 domination. Well maties, check the score over the last 10 weeks: domination is 10 weeks of winning, anything other than a week win equates to “primetime” gaming at it’s best, ie: great in the moment but meaningless in the bigger picture.

So stop the hate. You both lost, deal with it. Tons of folks on DR have been giving almost continual props to both of you, yet the majority of post from you have been negative towards DR. Stop the whining and QQnd and excuse making…fix it and move up, or enjoy the bottom tier and watch as you continue to lose more and more gamers. (or pray you get upper tier guild transfers as you obviously cant move up on your own)

DR – AWESOME JOB and well deserved regardless of what Ferg/Kain thinks as its just jealousy typing
Kain – I’m still rooting for you! Even with the loss of some major guilds in Wv3 you’ve still fielded some darn good fights. I’d almost say your Wv3 stepped up after the loss of the guilds in my opinion. (SoS — help Kaineng!)
Ferg – Chris/Np nice work on helping build framework for Ferg progressing. Hope it continues and does a mirror image of DR on moving upward in tier.

To all the gamers who gave it their best, props and respect to you all. To all those that continuously posted excuses…well, made me laugh at your pitifulness.

I don’t know how you can’t see what so many others can. They definitely gave you the map last night. You state you saw many of the same major guild tags defending last night. Yes, that’s obviously gonna happen. People have fun defending. Where their leadership was however? Sitting in the very bottom of the map having arena like duels with my guild and WP. Both the Envy commander and Chris were down there participating. They gave you the map so we could move up. So take the wintersday present and speak nothing more of it.

Not sure who was talking to you about transfering and joining PRO, wasnt me. I’ve talked to 2 guild leaders on both Ferg/Kain and we discussed them transfering to DR and/or joining PRO…neither was you or your guild. So dunno who was talking to you and please refrain from stating a “guild” want’s you when you’re talking to someone from a guild. Short of Phiz, the guild leader, talking to you about it, everyone else is a one v one conversation, not a guild v one. Understand?

I understand and it makes me abit disappointed. I thought PRO ran a tight organisation, especially since you’re only 8-10, but I guess not.

Anyway with Devona moving up and a dead server moving down we just don’t see the fun in staying in this tier and therefor are moving to EBay. I’d like to especially thank Envy, The Moobs, Chris [NP], TRx, CnB, KAIN, WAR, iSpy, AD, FIST, SoCo, Dark, RED, WP, EDGE and of course PRO for making this tier to what it’s been for us. I know I’m forgetting alot of guilds and individuals, these are just the ones that first comes in mind, so thank you all for the fun times.

Hey, WP here. We’re kinda unnoticed, but anyway, we’re taking a break from putting hardcore hours into wvw this week. It’s got nothing to do with kains or fergies, just got a little fed up when one of our commanders last night who decided to take half the zerg on a karma/exp train for 2 hours, which put the other half in a quagmire situation. Anyway, your choice, but we came to wvw to actually fight people, not npcs.

So, in return for your PvE escapades, Mr. “Night-time commander only” we are going to focus on fractals/dungeons/building another twilight. Yes, we are going to have 2 of them n__n

Meh, not like I stayed there long. I helped my friend out of his 1v4 and then I waypointed back. Could have been worse.

To the Kain’s I was fighting yesterday, I hope you didn’t think I was hacking or anything when I was fighting from under the map. xD That fight was a result of a Phase Retreat bug that has been there forever, although first time it happened to me in WvW.

I’m still sitting on 5s with confusing images without the trait. The only thing I remember reading about confusion was when they changed the iMage’s confusion to 3 stacks for 3s

Before the update, this trait showed the updated confusion time on things such as Confusing Images. It updated it to about 6 and 1/2 seconds. I don’t actually know if it changed as of this update, but it no longer shows it for me and says the usual 5s. Does the trait still kick in for effect but just not update the tooltip, or is this something they bugged out by accident?

That was me Was hard to do much with the guards, ele, and kain thief attacking me though… That guy seemed to hate me a lot more than you

Always nice to see another mesmer using a scepter. Don’t see much of those around. Was tough pinning you down quite often. Not often I see all three servers converging on one camp at once. Was amusing to watch you and your other mesmer friend outside of it fighting Kain while I cheered you guys on, lol.

-People have been confusing barrage with arrow carts in WvW so we removed this skill
-The 4 skill has made a minor inconvinence against melee users such as thieves and warriors.
-These skills have not been replaced, the long bow is fine as is. The longbow will still use up both hand slots. We have no intention on fixing this.

Friend had an interesting bug earlier where he zoned and it took away two skills. Asked me to post this on the forums, so here it is. Enjoy your new ranger buff, guys!

Figured I’d make the post since the person who originally made these topics transfered over to Anvil Rock. Anyways, looking forward to a good week of fights and hopefully less accusations thrown about as per usual. Good luck!

Had some fun times last night with fellow EDGE members. We had claimed the tower right by our spawn in Kain’s border with intentions of defending till death. Defenses were going well until a mob of Kain showed up. They weren’t part of the Evermoor alliance, thankfully. Just a zerg of randoms running around as far as I could tell, but they laid siege to us for about half an hour to an hour, with us constantly repelling them. Then they started getting crafty and started hitting out walls with cata’s instead of rams, which we really had no defense against so we all stormed out to try and take it down. Unfortunately, our wall was taken down before we could do anything and most of our charge was wiped, so the remaining few fled to the keep lord to defend to the last man. Somehow, we managed to hold them off long enough that people returned and came up behind and wiped the entire zerg out. After that, we saw no action for a good while. Commander Smilingknight showed up (a commander I actually enjoy, for once) and we started to take the south half of Kain’s border. After that, iSpy and the rest of the alliance came to play and shoved us out rather quickly. We stood for about 5 minutes in the tower that held for 30. Mainly because we had a lot less defenders (most went to smilingknight in hills) and mainly because iSpy is co-ordinated. EDGE lost our tower, but we had fun. After that, we sat at the back of Kain’s citadel camp, placed down a banquet, and got drunk. 25 stacks of drunk and fighting doesn’t go well, FYI.

Had some fun times on Ferg borderlands doing nothing productive except sitting in their camp behind their base egging them on. Held them off once, but got nailed anyways. Was fun between the three of us ;D

I personally think that they should add in the minstrel from the joke reveal that they did of the Mesmer. They should stick him in Divinity’s Reach somewhere where he walks around playing and singing the same song that he did. Obviously not a game changing thing, but it’s something rather amusing I’d enjoy seeing. Possibly as an April Fools add in?
