I’m going to assume you’re being sincere. There’s still a few hours left till reset aren’t there? This was a very close match between BP and AR. Cheers guys. Here hoping next week is just as close, and without the trolling. Always a good fight with you BP boys and girls.

AR has essentially sealed 2nd already. With 3 hours to go BP would have to tick 140 points higher than AR on every tick until reset. Not impossible, but they would have to do something like cap AR’s BL in the next 5 minutes or so and hold it until reset.

Well if anything, trolling aside I hope that players on all sides recognize that each server has it’s pros and cons. I think the militia(PuGs) from AR have shown the fighting spirit the server has. We have seen some really good guild groups over the course of the matches, as well as some that need to grow. I’m really proud of how AR has evolved since it’s days in tier 7 and it progressively has improved over time. I look forward to more great battles over the course of the next weeks. My guild has just started to get more interest in WvW and I’m enjoying teaching them the basics(when to hold/withdraw, how and why we fall back etc.). EBay and BP are a good learning experience for them. Hopefully I can get a few more regulars in a shake things up a bit, or at least get you guys some badges. Who knows we may take a few too.

After reading all this I’d like to suggest an experiment that I believe all 3 servers agree should happen. For the rest of this week, starting today, BP and AR agree to strictly focus on EB. It is the obvious startegy for this tier, it has been suggested countless times, and I’m sure even EB would agree it makes sense. BP and AR agree to stay out of each others’ BLs, send parties into EB’s BL, and work together in eternal. Just until Friday.

Yes Ehmry dictates who comes in first currently, but BP dictates who comes in second. When we focus on ehmry to try change the nature of our tier, we ended in 3rd, but ehmry had a small lead compared to previous matches. When we switched focus to AR, we dominate against AR but ehmry gains a big lead. Coincidence? No

You realize you are stating the obvious. Everyone who WvW knows that Ebay is bigger than BP and BP is bigger than AR.

Instead of being leaders and continuing to focus on Ebay. Your ego’s got the best of you, and you felt the need to put AR in its place, 3rd. Weeks from now you’ll learn you lost more in those 3 days than you gained.

I am amazed that there are BP players on here that don’t realize that EBay is dictating the score, maybe not intentionally, but that’s what is happening. Yes BP gained a 10K lead on AR yesterday, but do you think it may have something to do with the ARBL being half red and half green all day yesterday? I thought it was Christmas for a while. And if Ebay had decided to do that to BPBL, then you would see the opposite. I really can’t believe that there are some BP players that don’t get that.

what you saw was maybe half our grp from last week we did a check to last weeks numbers and turns out we pulled 91 members into wvw which we was real happy with but is still under the numbers we brought at 1 time =(. Also we have been working hard on overall team tactics within the guild and some of them are really paying off.

As Walabone said BURN is not WVW focused (Unfotunately!! lol) we are PVX guild so we got all kindsa crap going on lol

So this is it? The “big” wvsw patch? Culling fixed- dont know if it works because the wvsw servers are down but if yes, great!

All the rest? The simpliest progression system i have ever seen. 8 boring passive skills and some titles. thats it.
Items that nobody needs. Some low level skins, which look horrible

No unique wvsw skins, no good looking (tpvp/dungeon) skins. no ascended gear. no word to bring back the orbs. no improvement to the commander book. no game updates like new maps, new siege and siege skills, new Upgrades.
A serious question. Except for the culling fix. How long did this take to develop? 1 day, maybe 1 week? And this is the first Major update we get since 9 months!(beside the breakout Event, removing the exp for escorting dolyaks and removing the orbs)
Really disspaointed. This “big” wvsw patch ist another pve patch. Like every other kitten patch before.

There were more changes to PvE, and sPvP than there were for WvW. I think I’m done with this game.

I’m so sick and tired of being ignored by the develepors. I don’t know why every game mode I choose in every game gets the least attention.

There were less notes but an entire WvW progression system is a huge change. Removing culling is a huge change. Those are just 2 notes.

It isn’t about how many notes there are.. it’s about what the notes are.

They shouldn’t have done anything with PvE, or sPvP. Instead all the time should have been on WvW. They’ve been working on the other two for MONTHS ignoring WvW.

Half of what they hinted at being in this patch, IS NOT.

It’s not like culling could have been any harder than creating the entire array of Fractuls, and the multiple world events, and holiday events they’ve done for the PvE crowd, or the new sPvP maps, and such.

Essentially here’s how things have been going: Ebay and DR completely dominate during the day because BP actually has opponents (Equal numbers for BP is too much for them to handle).

Then, BP caps EVERYTHING while Ebay and DR are sleeping (other than Ebay BL, you guys have kept quite a handle on that place).

The sun is rising atm and I see BP rapidly slipping off of the map, but when I logged in they had nearly everything. So tell me again how BP wins over DR because of tactics and not coverage?

I am shocked to not see any comments from BP about the Hills fiasco… You had a HUGE amount of people in there!

@ Dabomb, I say the same thing to you i got a ton of badges from wiping your guys over and over outside those keeps and towers lol.

is there any one else out there who feels the roles have been reversed in this game?? what i mean by this is quite simply LIGHT ARMOR classes out surviving/Tanking the heavy armor classes….

i mean my warrior is no pushover at any stage but i cant help but sit back and feel let down when say a NECRO takes 8 guys to drop him in wvw or an ele or even an engineer/thief …..

i think you guys are taking the mick now… since the game has launched there has been 2 utterly STUPID (imo) seasonal events but still no fix for this…. i know there are hundreds if not thousands of guys with this problem!!! so why no fix?? is making crap season events a priority over a fix for the game? something that your CUSTOMERS have PAID for and yet still its broken? come on all rdy pull your self away from the crap and get kitten fixed that NEEDS!!!! fixing!!! i think its DISGUSTING its taking you guys SOOOOO long to come up with a fix.

and no upgrading to a 64bit operating system is not acceptable why should your customers have to go out and pay extra for something that upon reading the minimum /max requirements SHOULD run perfectly…

Underpopulated? Shortly after I took it I see a zerg of 40-50 NSP trying to take it back.

I didn’t know we had so many players in WvW. Are you sure it wasn’t 10 mesmers and 30 clones?

Other servers always exaggerate numbers.
Sitting Commanding and all of a sudden I get a report of 30 strong Anvil Zerg smashing into Anz.
We drop everything and rush their to try and defend it.

We finally get there and look around.
There are 10 up-lvl’ed Anvil Rock and 1 ram slowly tapping the gate with the nub inside going, “ERMAHGERD WE’RE GUNNA DIE”.
Makes everyone facepalm.

I can’t say I’ve ever seen a 50man zerg in WvW ever.
But then again, I’ve only been to one reset and I run the night shift.

But still.

Maybe if every single person from every map was in one place at the exact same time.

You need to train your troops have this following Priority.

Defend your BLs first.
Go into EB second.

Your commanders and troops are dead set on holding SM.

Guess what we do the minute we see you take SM?

Head for your borderlands.

SM =35 points.

Lower half of your map, 35 points without Bay or Hills. That makes Bay or hills bonus after we lower cap you and guess where your commanders are when we do this? Defending SM.

Retrain your entire server to think home borderland take priority over SM and you will have greater success on the scoreboard.

So our guild is looking for a new home before paid transfers goes into effect. As much as we love how close our current match-up is, there’s little to no community in T8 and the competitive vibe went out the window when Devona’s Rest and Kaineng zerged their way up the ladder. As unbalanced as those weeks were, we at least had competitive groups we knew we could count on going up against every night.

Rising up the tiers doesn’t really concern us. We’ve witnessed how unbalanced and lopsided some of these match-ups can get, so we’re quite content on hanging around the more balanced lower tiers. What we really want is to find an active community and hopefully a server in this tier that could use a small guild like us. We have about 15 active members and all of us are DAoC vets who prefer roaming in small groups.

What has the balance been like in this tier, and are any of these servers likely to fall or rise out of this tier soon?

I’d love it if someone wouldn’t mind PM’ing me some details so we can decide if we want to come here.

Porsonally bro id check out BP, im a co leader of the biggest guild on the server (Seraphim Martyrs [BURN]) the server is a close nit community that works really well together, we stormed the tiers in wvw and then lost guilds that was not dedicated to the fight they just wanted the glory and left us so here we are back in the tier we belong in it seem lol having some AWESOME fights with AR and NSP. But honestly check us out before any of the guys start saying bad stuff aboutt he server and put you off lol. btw my guild is a PVX guild so we dabble in everything, also we have an alliance with the wvw guilds which NO GUILD will be turned away from if the desire to join us, we fight hard and we play harder.

to the grp of AR currently in BP, have you missed some sleep to pull these numbers in here lol. good job guys
