Her final resting place is in the game as a skill challenge, in Fields of Ruin in Ascalon: http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Pile_of_Stones
“Someone placed these stones with great care and respect. It is appears [sic] to be a cairn intended to memorialize a long-dead adventurer.”
Killeen was one of my favourite characters in GoA, I’m glad they remembered her in GW2.
Just to update on this, recruitment for Semper Dius is open again. We’re looking for PvP focused (especially WvW) players of all professions.

Client download slows down and stops completely.

I’m trying to download the game client on a Windows 8 PC but when I start the client it downloads about 300MB, then the download speed gradually drops and eventually goes to 0. After this I can’t download more, starting the client leaves me in an empty screen with Downloading 0KB (0KB/sec) text.
The PC is not filling the game’s minimum requirements but I don’t care about that, I only use it to access the trading post and chat to guildies when I’m not on my main PC. Is there any way to get the game downloading? Transferring files or installing from disc is not an option I’m afraid.
I have the same issue. I can’t give a dxdiag at the moment but I’ve sent crash reports to Arenanet when the issue results in one. I’ve had this problem since release (never saw it in beta) and if my sound quality is set to high it happens very often. Lowering the sound quality seems to make the issue less frequent.
Razer Naga here, this bug is doing my head in. It makes kiting and playing in general very annoying. Does anyone know if ArenaNet has said anything about acknowledging or fixing this?
I stand behind this thread! The camera is the number one problem I have with Guild Wars 2, everything else I’m having a blast with but the way the camera works makes playing the game frustrating, sluggish and not fun.
Because of the way the camera works, I often target objects when I don’t mean to, accidentally attacking monsters and deselecting them at critical moments, wasting my skill cooldowns and ruining everything just because the camera decides to select something for no reason.
The camera often also stops moving when it’s dragged with right mouse. This is a massive issue for anyone who steers their character without the keyboard (A and D are used for strafing) and with GW2’s combat relying heavily on movement and kiting, it just creates a very unresponsive and poor combat experience. I have lost count of situations where I could have done much better or avoided getting downed if I hadn’t lost control of the camera while kiting.
I mean, sure, I can play the game without the camera ever being fixed. Is it fun though? No. It’s irritating and when I try to plan my combat around having to move my camera as little as possible, something is wrong.
There’s no end-game exactly. Just like games like Skyrim, levels are just a way to get more perks and once you complete the main questline you can stay in the world and keep doing whatever you feel like. Of course, you could do whatever you felt like from level 1 in Skyrim too.
It’s the closest comparison I can think of for Guild Wars 2’s gameplay.
Today I did a couple of dungeons and my right mouse camera was constantly getting stuck. I just could not move the right mouse camera, and if it moved it moved for a short distance and then got stuck again. I also kept deselecting my target every time I released the right mouse button.
I don’t want to use the keyboard to turn my character and being able to steer with the mouse is much more enjoyable to me, but this weird glitch is driving me up the wall, I keep dying and kiting is super hard when you can’t occasionally steer your character. The bug seems to happen randomly, in small confined spaces as well as large open areas.
I hope this can be fixed…
