I would like to see reference of this statement, as I have heard of a number of instances where suspensions have been issued within 5mins of an incident occurring.
A number of people on Jade Quarry have been having issues and I know of one individual who was banned quickly for giving an guild mate back his 40g. This leads me to believe that they may use a flagging system that other MMOs have used for big shifts of money. Even though to some people 40g is peanuts.

This is a message to arena net specifically, even though only their PR read the forums. I am posting this publicly as I have heard of a number of people having issues so believe it is a bug or error in their banning processes.

Please consider a review of the mechanisms that you use to auto ban players. If you support this, reply below, and if not, go troll another thread. This is an important issue which needs to be resolved.

Btw, The Moderators have decided that Server guild recruitment for WvW is to be posted in the WvW section. Anyway goodluck recruiting. I personally think there has been an overall drop in activity of players due to arenanet response to WvW exploits and bugs.

Just some advice you should say what timezone you are from so people know when you are active and then can match with active times in their guild. Good luck looking for a guild!

They could implement WvW only armor that you can buy uses glory, badges and karma.

1. Easy to search directory that guilds can register their guild. No more spam bumping, going through guild section pages and applying to EU guilds when on a NA server.
2. Looking For Guild Section that guilds can link there guild directory page to lfg threads. People LFG fill out a form which generates tags and a search for guilds as well. No more of guilds copying and pasting every lfg thread they see. Automatic closure after one week of last post by OP.

These suggestions are designed to:
1. Reduce Spam
2. Make the Guild section practically useable
3. Make it easier to recruit and find guilds.

Although I disagree with all capitals in the thread name, +1 to this thread. Jade Quarry is a PvX server, if anything we have more PVE players than WvW players. From my observations, our gaps in WvW coverage are around 6pm and 8am GMT. We have a strong south east asia presence and eastern NA.

Hey, Jade Quarry is not Sea of Sorrows, but we offer challenging, tactical and less quene times compared to Sea of Sorrows. Jade Quarry is a PvX server with a core group of WvW players which through co-ordination and tactics can beat the number advantage that Sea of Sorrows has. You may have seen last week that we made a big push for first spot and almost got there
Anyway, if your even little interested in JQ as a server I am part of Aggroculture [AGGR] which is an oceanic and south east asian gaming community. We are PvX with a WvW focus with around 90 active GW2 members. In WvW we use small man groups and can negate any numbers advantage. I think swirling winds is a viable tactic. Both sides are able to do it on their siege. I feel though with stacking siege equipment should be prioritised over players.

Create a kill zone, such as at area of broken wall, the bridge into hills and NW tower, the lords room.
Only 20 people can portal bomb, and if people wipe those who portalled quickly, then taking out the zerg will be fine with enough siege.
Typically 1 arrowcart is required for every 4 people ive found. A few ballista help where theres a narrow area to move. 1 – 2 Catas are good to knockdown on entry.
I have said this before, against an organised siege defence manned by 10 people, almost anything can be defended from a zerg of any size.

It has been an interesting week in Jade Quarry. With the event on the server population has been higher but there has been less people in WvW. A small dedicated group of our guild has been focusing each night on taking back and fortifying our borderlands.

On launch we had 150 active members and we had 30-40 active people on every night. The key to success of a guild is not 500 members, its members who are willing to contribute and build a community. Quality over Quantity. Recently we have had a quiet patch with the holidays, but since we starting focusing on recruitment we are now sitting at over 90 active members and with 15-20 people online each night. Last night we had groups doing AC, SE, CoE, CoF, FoTM and WvW. Jade Quarry has a great oceanic population which is PvX based. I’m not sure about Emery Bay, but I know that our WvW goals will not align with that server.

Being in the oceanic time zone and looking for a WvW guild I feel that Aggroculture could be suited for you. I don’t just say that because im a officer in this guild.
1. We play in the GMT +8-11 Timezone with oceanic and south east asia players in our guild.

How to Reduce Culling.

To reduce culling, or even remove culling, Anet need to reduce how much data is needed to be sent to the client. The following are some examples;
Enemy are seen as a single type of creature (a single race type),
Stop sending data relating to each individual enemy’s dye selections,
Stop sending data relating to each individual enemy’s armor,
Stop sending data relating to each individual enemy’s weapons.

Make all the enemy the same creature model (while accounting for class) without all the pretty details (that each individual selects and modifies to their own taste) that we currently have.

+1 this. Giving each class and profession one skin and dye colour according to team colour. They could even make this an option which 80% of people would use.

We last night participated in the push for First Place in Tier 1. In the end it looks like the NA guys just come up short on points. Anyway it was a fun night and we were able to utilise our flaking and defensive strategies.
Recruitment is steady, we had some friends and old members come back to the guild which was great. We are still looking for active players to join us in both PVE and WvW. Just fill out a detailed application at http://www.aggr-gaming.com/recruitment .

I like the thief, but what ive noticed with the backstab from nowhere and chain attacks, by the time I notice it im usually at mid health. Maybe a aftercast delay after a stealth attack could give the defender time to react, but still an advantage to the thief for the stealth opener.

A number of servers have quite low oceanic population. In my opinion it is best to find an active oceanic or SEA guild and run with them (hint hint).
I would consider Jade Quarry, Stormbluff Isle, Sea of Sorrows or Crystal Desert.
