JQ was losing by a mile. So what is going on with Blackgate. Nobody cares now?
BG still has a lack of coverage and I think it’s starting to wear on a few that have put in too many hours to maintain the lead. Most days BG doesn’t have Commanders on a map or two for an hour or more in key times when JQ has plenty of bodies to go around. The two areas that this shows the worst are EBG and BGBL.
I can think of one BG commander that’s going to the extreme for BG ( there’s probably several I’m sure) and I really hope they don’t crash and burn for the entire week next week considering the hours they’re pulling for their server
It’s funny because I would say from my perspective JQ has a lack of coverage compared to BG. I’ve logged in WAY more times to a >350 BG tick, with JQ ticking in the low 100s, compared to the other way around. Generally speaking when 75% or more of WvW is controlled by one team, I consider that a coverage issue. From my experience, JQ has had some significant coverage gaps (I log in anywhere between 10 am and 6 pm PST…and I’ve seen those ticks throughout that time period)
So you’re logged in right now and say JQ doesn’t have numbers, ummm ok then. I Think BG has 2-3, possibly 4 EU guilds if I’m not mistaken, not positive but I know of 2 that field a decent presence that is adding to PPT and I’m usually running with them the most

The current state of WvW is really bland. The only change in rankings is from the same servers moving up and down the same tier, or mass transfers off servers.
Interesting thought. Can you have 2 hosts at the same time for wvw? It probably isn’t possible, but I wonder if you could have NA on NA host while EU on EU host, at the same time.
There’s more to a server’s capacity than the WvW population.
Also plenty of people don’t want their WvW with queues and people everywhere. We had months to go to tiers that had better coverage and didn’t. It was free and totally not a secret and somehow we still consciously turned it down.
Tiers 1-2 (I am going to guess the original poster is from these tiers): Please deal with the above fact.
The servers themselves wouldn’t be combined. Only the WvW ‘battlegroup’ would.
While I appreciate the idea and point, the truth is all that would happen is that all the coveragewar champions would just flock to the same servers and the end result would be the same.
This wouldn’t be possible because there will be a limited number of WvW spots.
Look at it this way.
There are 8 tiers in NA and 9 tiers in EU.
They would eliminate a tier to equal it out, match up servers, then combine ALL the servers into 8 tiers.
There won’t be anymore powerhouse servers because there population would be condensed and spread throughout the 8 tiers.
Do you see what I’m saying? There will be some servers more popular that others, but it won’t just be tier 1 and tier 2, it will probably be the top 5 tiers with the most people in them.

Side note: Nice defense on Garrison PRX. We would have stayed and kept fighting for it, but BG Golem Rushed Briar from behind us.
There won’t be queues all the time. The reason there are queues is because too many players play the SAME time. The population will be spread around to all the servers making it so you many servers might have 10min queues, but the top servers will no longer have 4 hour queues.
Can I get some more feedback on this idea? I honestly think this would be an amazing change to the game. It would promote growth to not only the other servers/tiers/wvw, but to the game aswell because people wouldn’t quit because they are on a dead server.
That I found it less serious due to the amount of profanity? Yes. Profanity, after so much use, only makes an individual seem unintelligent and illiterate. There are more words that have more of a motivational meaning than the swear words used repeatedly in this. You don’t have to swear to get a point across.
You don’t have to, but you can and obviously we aren’t twelve, so ‘profanity’ doesn’t mean anything anymore.
SoR fought long and hard to reach T1 with what most consider the #1 NA in North America. SoR’s NA and the very few EU/Oceanic’s cannot compete with Blackgate’s recent absorption of SoS & JQ’s ridiculous NA Morning coverage.
We try our best with our community to earn as many points as we can while we are awake, but we always wake up the next day, at least 10k points behind.
I’m convinced if we received a strong and loyal NA night crew, we could be the #1 server in this game.
I can’t say I dislike the idea, but I can’t imagine the lag would make it playable. Look at how bad the servers can be at present and then add another 200ms ping to that.
A lot of the servers are extremely laggy because a mass of NA players play at one time, if the population was spread through twice as many servers, it wouldn’t be as bad and it would create more competition throughout the tiers.
I’m not saying it wouldn’t be as laggy, but you never know.
