What Blitz suggested should help get your support account back.
While it’s true that the lightning skill doesn’t do as much damage, it is still damage. It can be consistent damage if you can keep shooting it while staying out of harm’s way. That damage does add up. It’s not a fight that will be over in 3 minutes.
As for the turrets drawing aggro, it’s not something I can control. Sometimes it happens and he starts attacking them, sometimes he doesn’t. But either way, they do a fairly decent bit of damage and also stack bleeds.
It is harder if he starts to chase you, but I find between all my utility skills that I’m able to stay alive while my NPCs do damage to him. What I’ve noticed he does is switch between attacking me with ranged, attacking my NPCs and chasing me in melee form.
There are two other things I can recommend to you.
I’ve never had to resort updating my armour but I saw this suggestion in another thread. It makes sense, my gear is usually 10-15 levels behind my character level, perhaps more.
Edit: Also never run directly away from him when he starts to chase you and take free damage, turn your camera slightly and keep strafing sideways away from him. If you get the camera angle right, you can run away from him while still firing off your skills.

Login to support is an E-MAIL not a username! Just wanted to mention that.
Mine is not an email, it’s the User Name that I set while creating my support account.
There are two fields, one is User name and the other is Email. Perhaps if you put your email for both fields you can use your email to log in. But they are two different things. What ever you put in the User name field is what you use to log in.

Are you using the “small” interface size? I’m pretty sure you are, judging by the size of your skills and health orb.
This is what happens when you use the small interface option. I have it too. It only happens in the Black Lion Trading Company windows. If you switch to a larger interface size, it will go away. I’ve reported this in-game. Was going to post it here as well.
Guess I don’t have to now .

First off, your game account (what you use to login and play) is not the same as your support account.
If I recall correctly, when you make a support account, they ask you for an email and also ask you to make a user name. This user name is what you use to log in to your support account, not the email you entered. If you try to log in with the email you signed up with, you’ll get that message saying your info is incorrect or your account is disabled.
Second, the “Login Issues” button on the support site is for Login issues with the launcher, not the support site. So unfortunately, using that you reset your GW2 game password.
Finally, from what I can tell, your support password should still be the same password you used before you tried to change it (and ended up changing your game password). Your support log in name is whatever you set it to when you originally made your account. Hopefully you remember what that is.
As for a phone line, support is currently swamped. They’re getting thousands of support requests each day. Can you imagine having to put thousands of people on-hold and deal with them sequentially? I’m fairly certain that would just make the support situation worse.
It’s definitely eating my spaces too.
Haha, perhaps :P.
This has been happening for a while now. You can actually access the articles if you have the direct link (i.e. their old facebook posts).
I’m guessing it’s probably not too high on the list of “things to fix” :P.
Edit: As a side note, that’s probably my favourite 404 page. I save it .

I have noticed this on the 1st day of Early Access and reported it already twice.
It is not only when attune to Air (which is usually what we do to gain speed access) , but also happen on other attunement. And it does not always happen even there is a target in front and in range. That’s probably why it takes so long for them to fix it because of the difficulty of reproducing it.
I am guessing it might be caused by some sort of buffs associated with the traits or the passives of utility skills. I am trying to figure out how to reproduce it and report in-game if I succeed.
Does it really happen with other attunements? I’ve only ever had it happen while switching to Air.
I’ve also tested this with no trait points assigned, so I don’t think it has anything to do with traits. As for passives on utilities, I’m using Mist Form, Cleansing Flame and Signet of Earth, none of which have offensive passives, so I don’t think that’s the case either.
Can you try reproducing using the steps I’ve listed in the first post? I can reliably reproduce this effect every time, but only if I switch to Air Attunement.
I’ve experienced this issue before as well.
Sorrow’s Furnace
Hmmm. That’s an interesting theory. I took a look at the article. Unfortunately, I don’t think that’s the case.
Trying to visit google.com will redirect me to google.ca, which is correct. The account I’m signed into is actually my old youtube account, which also detects that I’m in Canada haha. I have no other accounts tied to my google account.
Thanks for trying
It’s not a huge deal for me, as it doesn’t seem to matter for me whether I use the EU version of the NA version. It might matter to ArenaNet though. Especially with how support tickets are prioritized and such.
Well, I’m pretty sure what I did was I set the lightning skill to auto cast (ctrl + right click the icon).
Then I just tried to dodge as much damage as possible via strafing. If I needed to res someone, I’d first lay down my turrets and let them take aggro before starting to res.
You can also break off of ressing and dodge/heal as necessary. Your progress on the res stays.
Take root also makes you invulnerable for the duration of the channel. It’s invaluable at bridging the time to your next heal. If you’re heal is about to come up and you find yourself in a situation where you’re going to take a lot of damage, use Take Root, you’ll dodge most, if not all of it.
I was playing my Ele and between Take Root, my default heal (25 sec cd or some such), Mist Form and strafing/dodging, I didn’t have many problems with staying alive myself after the first few fail attempts.
Taking along some sort of healing for your allies is also not a bad idea. Iowerth is pretty good at holding his attention.

you guys probably have skill 1 on auto with strg+ right click …..
No, this isn’t the case. I can just stand by a mob, not use the mouse at all, switch to air attunement and my character will just auto attack it.
I’m not exactly sure what you’re trying to identify as a bug.
When you’re selling something, the trading post will charge you 5% of your Total Listed Price to make the listing. If you actually make the sale, the trading post then charges you an additional 10% of your listed price. The total trading post fee for a successful transaction is 15%.
For example, if you are trying to sell 10 of “Item A” for 50 copper each, the Total Listed Price for that sell order is 10 × 50c = 500 copper = 5 silver.
The trading post will charge you 5% upfront. 500c x 0.05 = 25c.
If you manage to make the sale, the trading post will charge you an additional 10%. This amount is deducted from your profits.
So, you will make 500c. The trading post cut is 500c x 0.1 = 50c.
The amount you will see in the pickup tab is 500c – 50c = 450c = 4 silver, 50 copper.

This is a bug I started noticing a few days ago.
Whenever I swap from a different attunement into Air Attunement, my character will auto target the nearest mob, neutral or hostile, and use the 1-skill of the previous attunement, followed by the 1-skill of Air Attunement.
I have tested this with all combinations of weapons + off hands, as well as the staff and trident (underwater). This happens with every set.
This also isn’t due to the Electric Discharge minor trait in the Air trait line. I tested with no trait points spent.
When you turn off auto target in the general options and make sure you have no target locked, the problem goes away. However, if you do acquire a target (manually), you character will start attacking once again.
This does not happen while attuning to the other three attunements.
To reproduce:
how do you transmute something?
Use a transmutation stone. Basic for lvl 1-79 stuff. Only Fine Transmutation stones work on lvl 80 gear.
You’ll have to submit a support ticket at their support site.
They’re still swamped though, so it will take a while for them to get back to you.
Edit: I’m not saying whether or not they can actually get your character back, but this is the best way to go about it.

I completed this personal story quest for the Durmand Priory a few days ago.
At the end of the quest, after completing the final objective, I was instructed to make one of two choices. I chose to have the NPC tell me about both, then chose the third, decline option (making neither “progression” choice, wanted to think about it). I didn’t really read what the third choice said, so I’m not sure if this next bit is a bug.
After I declined to choose, the quest finished and I was automatically given one of the next quests, the Stone Sheath.
I checked the “My story” section of my Hero panel a little while after exiting the instance and noticed that the section about Bad Blood was empty.
Have you tried using the lightning skill on the sword? I just set that to auto attack and strafed left-right-left. I can’t remember too well, but I believe the sword only replaces your 1-5 skills right? I could be mistaken though.
I seem to remember using Take Root (Sylvari elite skill, grows a bunch of turrets) to draw some aggro for me.
Remember to res your allies!
I’m just noticing this today. I also cannot speak for other tengu, only the ones in Lion’s Arch (SW of Western Ward waypoint).
As the title says, their idle animation resets. I’m talking about the one where the tengu starts to stretch and examine his bow, then goes into a crouched position. Once he gets into his crouched stance, suddenly the animation resets and he’s standing upright. It’s very, very noticeable and jarring.
This is happening with all of the tengu I’ve seen SW of Western Ward waypoint. The one by the merchant caravan and the ones further south, guarding the Dominion of Wind.
Just expires per character- as for the website- I don’t remember seeing a tool tip during the headstart period. I am not 100% sure.
I can tell you that there definitely was and still is a tooltip about the Golem banker being a 5-day item on buy.guildwars2.com. Additionally, it also tells you that the Chalice of Glory and the Tome of Influence are one-time use items as well.
I remember because I looked at them before purchasing a Collector’s Edition. It also says so over at amazon.com for the Collector’s Edition description.
They definitely had the information available. Unfortunately, you didn’t see (or perhaps read) it.
When I use Google Chrome, searching for Guild Wars 2 in Google and clicking the link, or typing it directly into the address bar will bring me to the EU websites instead of the NA equivalents (guildwars2.com/en-gb and eu.support.guildwars2.com).
It’s not a huge issue as it doesn’t seem to make much of a difference, but I am based in NA and I find it a bit strange.
Using other browsers such as Internet Explorer or Firefox will direct me to the NA websites (guildwars2.com/en and en.support.guildwars2.com).
