Honestly the only answer I have for you is…..Luck.
Getting lucky is probably the only option for this problem, kind of the same on the other end of trying to get on a mega-server with enough competent people to do Teq.
And, if I’m really honest about it, your issue is probably one that really wasn’t considered but I kind of sit on the fence on this. I’m from Kaineng which was a relatively low pop server and was so used to almost challenging leveling, but now having all of these people are great, but sometimes I miss the low pops.

One thing that I’m personally having issues with the mega server at this point in time is for guild recruiting. I know they are changing it so that guilds are cross region, but being a recruiter in a mid sized guild who is trying to grow their numbers, I’m afraid to recruit because at this point, i cant tell what server anybody’s on.

I think that a long with living story, they should make an add on for the personal story as well. So on top of the world events part of the living story there are also personal missions you can do for even more rewards. They then could leave these in game so people that are behind can do these to get caught up on the world story line at that point. I know its too late for the Scarlett line, but it would be pretty cool if they added it for season 2.

Me and a group of fellow guildies were running through CM P.1 when one had to unsuspectingly leave to deal with RL issue. We then decided to just put up an LFG to get someone to finish the run. The issue was, though it said it posted, it never posted. (had another guild member outside of run check). We tried taking it down and re-posting it several times with no success. I don’t know if anyone else had this issue or if it is fixed now.

In my opinion, I think the current daily options are set up the way they are for the China release. I think they are doing this to kind of “push” this new group of players to try all of the avenues of the game. Kind of wish they could adapt the list from region to region. I hope it will have more options available within a month or so.

I will say, the bottom rung rivalry had some fun moments. (I’m from Kaineng)

I generally log on everyday for the social aspects of the game. I get bored just running around doing stuff by myself, and I have my hands in every aspect of the game, so yeah, I’ll keep playing. I’m waiting for the full mega-server to see how the World bosses work out then. (Oh god QD will be a nightmare…..)

I will be honest, the change in champ train doesn’t really bother me. I would only use it as a last resort if I had absolutely nothing to do, and honestly it bored me. Am I happy that it is “nerfed”? No, not necessarily. Am I mad? No, not really. You guys can still do all of the same bosses, and multi-map like others said. It may also peak your interest into exploring other avenues that you may end up enjoying more or gaining more profit.

I am not trying to say that this is a good or bad thing, I’m just trying to say that you shouldn’t give up/blow up on Anet just yet. It’s only the second day. Give the multi-map train, dungeons, FotM, Orr, or even WvW & PvP a chance.

Note to A-Net: I am not a member of TxS, and am probably considered your “Average/Casual Player”.

That being said, I believe Agent, and others on this thread, has very valid points. Being an “Average Player” in a mid sized guild on a lower pop server; I understand, and appreciate, the need for Mega-Servers. That being said, you need not hurt the more hardcore players. Even if they are only 5% of the general population, based on the numbers, THAT’S STILL A LOT OF PEOPLE. If you are already implementing a consumable for guilds to use to activate the events, why not add another one similar to the custom arena in pvp?

What I mean by this is, Why not add a consumable of some sort for guilds to be able to populate their own map with, and here is the kicker, A PASS-CODE SYSTEM. That way one guild can open the map, then put on TS the code used to populate into said map. That way large groups can, A) All access the same instance of the map and Keep the map from getting overpopulated by players not doing the event. I don’t know if this can, or will be implemented, but I feel like that would ease some of the outcry.

Also I agree on the 2-3 hours being fine.

If I could more then +1, I would. It would be awesome to have this, and also change the current guild rep [Guild] to your guild Icon.
Oh, and on the other servers seeing your rank in WvW, dont they see your rank as your name? for ex: Black Gate Champion [GLD]

You guys want to talk about population drop, come hangout in Kaineng for awhile. Was one of the earlier servers and now, even the world events and Vigil are dead zones.
I personally noticed this because I played beta and the first month or so of release then had to leave because of life issues. When I came back this last November, It was SCARY how low pop’ed everything was.
