I’ve heard a concern from several interested players who are not living in North America that transferring to a NA server may have the consequence of serious lag.

As a player that lives in England let me assure you that I’ve not experienced any issues at all. In fact the NA Ferguson’s Crossing server that we are based on is better than te EU server I used to play on.

Also if any players that are interested in joining our guild that would like a chat about any concerns you have regards transferring to an NA server then just pm me here or in game and I’ll be happy to discuss anything.

Usually I just have Vent coming through it but sometimes I use it for in game sound as well. Adjust the setting to USB in the game panel. However if I then set it back to default or my speaker settings nothing happens and the sound still comes via the headset.

I always have to close and restart the game client to get the sound to default back to my speakers.

ANy ideas why this is happening?

Well, I have to say as the mad Brit of Hedo that it is really a fun place to be. It’s just spoilt by all the bloody Americans that don’t understand satire or sarcasm ;-)

So I need some Brits to get over here quick and give me a hand getting them all educated in British humour.

Hi, I just wanted to let you know the URL linked in the initial post does not work.

I know it’s my fault!! Hence the dumb comment above :-)

I received a ticket for the Dragon Skin during the Dragon Bash event and applied it to my longbow.

Being relatively new to the game as I levelled I destroyed the bow and upgraded to something better. I know I’m dumb!!!!!!

I never knew that skins can be tranferred using the transmutation stone.

My question is will ArenaNet be able to see from my account that I had this skin?

If so is there anyway I can get it back?

I have no idea why you would shake your head at a shy retiring, meek and mild little Brit like me :-)

The only measure I get concerned about is a full pint in the pub (bar).

Now come on lets stop talking weights and measures and get this recruitment under way. Come on you ‘orrible lot from the UK get on over here to this ’ere guild on Ferguson’s Crossing. You’ll have some great fun and laughs (as long as you ignore me!!).

We do use miles and we drink from pint glasses but we weigh things on grams and kilogrammes and we measure in inches but also centimetres.

You wonder why us Brits are sooooooo confused most of the time!!!!

As an EU (England) based member of this guild then if you are looking for a fun guild that enjoy what they do and have players on at most times of the day then come along and give us a try. I actually paid to swap from an EU server to this NA based guild I was so impressed.

So come along to Ferguson’s Crossing and have a great time playing with some great guildies.

Just be aware that I’m not quite the full ticket and am often misunderstood by my North American cousins :-)

I’m new to GW2 but not to MMO’s or gaming in general. Having played amongst others the original Ultima Online, also WoW.

I’d like to find a mature guild that likes to have fun and is not to serious (had enough of that in WoW).

I get fed up with guilds that are just are there in name but rarely have group events, help each other & are badly organised. Happy to use vent or teamspeak.

Oh yes, I’m an old gamer ;-) I remember the original D&D
