I am from the UK but I have my guild on the NA server Ferguson Crossing. Why? Because after playing on a couple of EU servers I found that this server has all I want. It is active, pretty easy going, not that many trolls on it.

So I set up a guild with a friend in the US. We would love to get EU players on board and with us as our goal for the guild is to develop to a guild that will have members on around the clock. I know when I was a shift worker it was really difficult to find friends to play with at night for instance. So by attracting members in different time zones we hope to build a 24/7 guild.

A busy day/night with a long fractal run. Great fun taking a member in that had never done one before.

Great to see how we are progressing with our growth. We are not a guild that just wants numbers and this is reflected in our consistent but slow growth. Also of course it means we do not have a large drop rate as we try as best as we can to ensure people who join make the right decision.

Our slow but steady recruitment process is moving forward with Ronin now in to double figures.

We are trying to be selective as we see know point in having a guild with hundreds of members and no real social aspect. We aim to have members become friends and get to know one another. We don’t want our members to get lost in a sea of unknown players.

We possibly even beat you – I started gaming way back in the mid to late 70’s with original D & D. And lets just say that Sto, the other leader can beat me (just).

I may have the guild you and your mate are looking for. I am also from the UK but play on a NA server. However that server is Ferguson’s Crossing, so if you were interested in joining us you’d need at some point in the future to transfer to do WvW with us.

The Free Armed Ronin of Tyria has been formed by Sto & Res; both of us long time gamers. We are from the US & UK respectively and met in another GW2 guild. After being there for some time we decided it was the right time to move on and set up a guild of our own that will (hopefully) appeal to many players out there who cannot find a guild that gives them all they want.

What type of guild are we?

A newly formed casual, mature guild.

What can you expect from us?

We know that real life comes first and with that in mind we are a casual guild, and will not expect any member to log in to a set schedule. Although if you join us we will expect you to represent us. Why? Because above all we want to develop a great spirit and community atmosphere. We believe this can only be accomplished if members take part. After all, you would not join a football team and then not take part in games with them!

We will look to accommodate all types of player – PvE, PvP, WvW, Dungeon & Fractal. How? We will be looking for leaders that enjoy these aspects of the game and will look to develop these members to lead in their area of skill & expertise. So if you enjoy PvP but PvE bores you we will have events for you, and the same with other areas of the game.

Simple – to take part, be friendly to other members, represent us, and above all have fun and don’t take things seriously. After all, our tag is FART…

I’ve just seen your post and if you do not mind I will reply fully later today. It’s 550am here in the UK and I am just leaving for work.

I run a UK/US lead guild on the NA Ferguson’s Crossing server and have experience of playing on both EU & NA servers so I’ll give you some more information later today to help you make a choice.
