Sorry but No Way.
First of all $40.00 is very little for the Hours of entertainment you will get from the game. Take your time and enjoy things some may seem over whelming to start. JustTrogdor already gave you some good links to look at. Don’t be afraid to try different Races and Classes until you settle on what you like. For me Ranger was my first choice. I do like having the pet to help out some. But I also have several other classes I am playing.
I think Complaining about issues playing GW2 on a OS that is over a year away from release is just silly. But then that is me with over 30 years of using Computers.

Clay Pool area has plenty of trees. And the vendors have all the tools you will need as you level in the game. And if you have your map Icons set up properly All gathering nodes do show up.

I think it would be nice if we could say take 4 or 5 of lesser Runes/Sigils and convert them to a better level of the same type. I don’t know if that would be possible or not?
Mal ware Spy ware Virus all can cause this.
Buying it from the NCSoft store probably isn’t the greatest idea. You should be able to find the game much cheaper on online video game stores. I personally wouldn’t go with ebay since you’re at the mercy of whoever is selling, but that’s just me.
Amazon is a good place to check. They have have the trilogy for $30USD
I have always had very good luck with E-Bay they have a very good system if some thing goes bad to get your money back.. In the past 10 years I never had any problems. But that is not to say that there are no issues.. I have been lucky I guess.
E-Bay is your best bet for some thing lower priced.
I am new here but Leveling is way to easy. I have never played a game that you could stay in a low level area and gain levels. To me it feels like a cheap way to play. I think it is a bad idea all the way around. I would like to see them make it so this level scaling nonsense was gone. That would make it so you had to move map to keep getting XP to level.
This game was advertised with level scaling as a feature and I think you’ll find most people like it. Here’s the problem.
In most MMOs, everyone stays in the final zones, because there’s no reason to go anywhere else. That means the game is increasingly empty. Why go back to a 40 or 50th level zone. There’s no reward. Nothing is doable there.
In this system you can still take your 20th level character into a 25 level area if you want, but everyone gets a choice.
Your way, only you get a choice.
This way is better. Much better.
Do you know how many times in other games I tried to level with friend and we had to sink up and wait for each other to log in, and then you’d play the character, get too far ahead and couldn’t hang with them?
Do you know how many times in other games I started an alt just to level with a friend?
I don’t have to do that anymore.
I am happy for you that you like the way it is. Again I think it is poor game design. That is my opinion. I have played different games on line and off line for many years. This is the first like this I have played. Yes I know how it was advertised I tried it and don’t like it this way. But then there are always people that will. To me it feels dumb-ed down.

Seems as though A-net has a Nice scam going here. If new players can’t use the gems before 72 hours then they shouldn’t be sold to new players.
It’s not a scam, you can use the gems to buy in game items, but not gold to buy items. Here is why.
You buy gems, get gold, buy items from TP. Cancel account. Get gems refunded. Gold is still infused into the market.
No the point here is I have to wait to use the Gems how I want. They shouldn’t sell them until 72 hours time is up. That is fraud and a scam. These rules are hurting the honest players not A-net But I guess fan boys will be around to support the scam here. As for getting my money back that is a option I am still considering. Now unless you have some thing that can truly show how this is wrong then Keep it to your self. And really you seem to be Ignorant of the true facts here. I bought the game to play not get shafted here.

Well My friend said he could trade gems for gold same time he got them which was about 2 hours after he made his account. This is sort useless for me.

Hello I started playing a couple hours ago. I bought some gems but when I try to trade some for Gold it tells me that the service is not available try again later. Is this normal? I have no money but wanted a bit better items.
