For some strange reason, i just had a 1v1 in ranked match, how’s that even possible? I don’t know, but it was just me and a asura warrior and no one else was in there.. In fact, when the ready popup appeared there was only 2 slots for check..

Afaik, as long as you don’t make a profit or claiming that those models are strictly yours and sell them as such, you’re free to make them for personal purposes. There’s no copyright infringement as far as I can tell on that.
The tons of information inside the priory is just wonderful, now if we could just have back those neat lore books from the beta stage..
This is actually a neat idea, just tested today, while it’s not open pvp it’s a fun feature and a nice twist for the new map.
I really, reeeally hope we can see capes implemented in the future (perhaps in a feature pack?), whether be in a form of a PVP Reward Track and/or a Meta PVE/WvW Achievement or just make it craftable for tailoring.
Anything would be very very welcomed at this point tbh.
I’d say, let them run their test and let’s participate on them as much as we can, then discuss about it. (its going to be temporary so no worries there), also it shows that they actually care for any changes that may come with the current WvW system and whether the community like those changes or not.
Since we don’t have the luxury of a PTR this is a great way to approach this issue rather than force them in a single stroke. Run the test, then let us discuss about it and we’ll see.
Going too far? Op, It’s not like they’re advertising cash shop hot sells or discounts, or pop-ups appearing every time you kill a mob.. it’s a frigging announcement and a very minor one.. Sure, Anet has been doing a lot of mistakes recently but this is really irrelevant..

Just logged today, still having like 10fps or less on Rata Sum, suffice to say the game is totally unplayable no matter where I go, all my hopes reside on a new patch coming soon -.-
I just uninstalled and re downloaded the game client, again, same results, I’m having from 5 to 10 fps, ironically, when I set my graphic options to auto-detect, everything sets up directly to High (which i don’t usually use since WvW can be extremely demanding), so if the game knows that my PC can handle it, then what’s happening? I’m seriously out of ideas..
I’ve tested other “demanding” games in my PC as well and I had no dramatic change with their FPS, it seems the problem is with GW2 exclusively, hope it can be resolved soon -_-.
At this point it’s really hard to say, GW2 used to be a great promise but with these kind of poor choices and bad/terrible implementation with every single update, I’d say it won’t get far. We now have to rant to make our voices heard (see Commander Color Tags price and now the Gem Exchange), it’s a constant battle against their bad decisions and terrible implementations and most of us are really ..really.. tired of it.
The sooner we could see back the custom option the better, for all of us really.. even if the graph takes a bit longer, there is an uneasy urgency for these changes to take effect. I’m glad they listened at the fanbase but they really need to address this change as soon as possible.
Well I didn’t had any issue yesterday, but today is a whole different story, I don’t know what exactly happened but my FPS lowered drastically (from 40-50fps most of the time to 5 -10fps) almost everywhere I go, doesn’t matter if its a less crowded area or not, it’s dreadful.
Terrible and shameful change Anet, you’ve disappointed your loyal fanbase big time once again.. Just revert it please, or change it while there is still time..

The damage is already done, even if they revert it back. They artificially inflated gem prices the moment the patch released, and ripped the price graph out of the game UI and disabled the gem price function call on the API to hide it. That’s why if you go to GW2spidy the gem price graph hasn’t updated since the patch but everything else has.
Don’t even think for a second that this change was done to accommodate a certain type of player. Gem prices don’t naturally spike 22% in the span of ten minutes, not even on a patch day. That has never happened in the history of GW2, even on the anniversary.
The spike was the nail of the coffin for most of us, it’s so sad and heartbreaking to see which kind of direction has taken GW2 since launch, even if they revert it or change it somehow (which of course they won’t since “they” won’t allow A-Net to revert a thing), the damage on the community has been done already..
Back to topic I guess, allow at the very least an option to buy 50/100/200 gems, yeah.. but mark my words, “they” will keep stealth increasing the gold-game conversion/korean MMO grindfest rate to levels beyond belief..
Sigh… even if they actually revert this change, I’ll still feel really disappointed about how Anet still handle drastic changes like this, there’s always (almost mandatory) a poor made decision from their side and we have always to deal with it and either fight an uphill battle against it or accept it and try to forgive or see the positive side of it.. a sad halloween for Tyria indeed.
So much disappointment, really.. why limit the exchange rate to 400 gems? just what happened to you GW2?, every single time an update arrives, there’s always a reason to feel either sad or angry because of poor made decisions like these. It’s going to be a sad halloween and I don’t even want to imagine what’s coming next.. Pay2Win model at full force? labor points? -_-
Well we can’t tell if Anet is going to do a 100% Teq/Worm raid style or something similar, or something entirely new (not yet at least).
As Vayne said, all we know so far is that we’re going to have a CDI for it and it will be included in the Guilds CDI. That said, I think people shouldn’t get overhyped about the idea of GW2 Raids but neither get disappointed before time.
I think Devs should take this CDI with extra extra care, be (more) realistic (if possible) about the limitations and/or the possibilities of the game engine, the goals of the company and the flow of the raid content itself, the very mention of it have catched the attention of many players already.
Players should remain calm and respectful about each others ideas too, the other thread mentioning raids have brought a lot of personal arguments and hate already, if the CDI end up just like that thread, it will fail hard. As I said, devs should take this CDI with surgical accuracy.
I’d love the idea of having a true 12-20man raid, but before things blow out of proportion, they (the devs) should really (i mean REALLY) consider to test it in a PTR, (at least the mechanics and part of the core gameplay in it without spoiling too much of the raid itself) even if the PTR is very very small and can afford a bunch of guys, and wait for player feedback and even after that, keep fixing and polishing said raid until most of the bugs/mechanics work as intended and can live up to most of the expectations (can’t please everybody tho).

I had this little idea since Anet implemented the PvP reward tracks, add the same mechanic for PvE but with repeatable hearts here and there with PvE Reward tracks. Suppose one week we have some repeatable hearts in Shiverpeak Mts. and within the track offer skins, mats or gold of said region. (it could need also to complete certain dynamic events here and there too and not necessarily have those hearts and DE limited to a single region/map).
Definitely, fully support on this one. And, although there are scripts and the “autoclicker” for some of those who can’t stand clicking repeatedly all the time, Anet doesn’t allow its use entirely (see ICM Mod). I’d like to see some opinion from the devs whether these QoL options can be integrated or not.
I’m having the very same issue with Dry Top, didn’t happened to me until today in the morning and it seems even worse at night, the lag is unbearable and I saw different people complaining about the same thing. Most of the maps seems to be working just fine, 0 lag or delay but Dry Top, maybe a server performance issue?
Currently, the navigation through equipment, wardrobe and dyes is kinda messy and confusing. Navigation through Tabs could do wonders there. As for builds, I really wish we could have some easy way to switch between custom trait builds since we can trait and re-trait at any moment (out of combat that is).

another option would be to continually spam the profession balance sub-forum (possibly the spvp sub-forum) with new titled threads along the lines of “Please don’t ignore the ranger CDI” or “is the ranger CDI suppose to be a discussion amongst our self’s” etc
(little offtopic) Not that I like spamming in another forum sections but really, this CDI is the most if not the only one that had at best less than 4 responses of any Dev. around.. It’s really disheartening.. There are really good ideas floating around here.. What this CDI needs is more participation from the Devs, and i mean, a lot more, currently Ranger is one of the most controversial professions due the tons of bugs and problematic mechanics (the F2 issue, unresponsive pet, useless shouts, and so on).
In conclusion, this CDI needs a lot of attention and dialogue with more Devs if we really want to reach some true improvements for the profession.

Sorry for necroposting but there’s still no fix for this issue right?
I must say, it took me nearly 3 hours to complete it, this dungeon is tricky, is not THAT hard, but tricky and very fun (those golems and their pulling to the wall as a real pain in the butt) but really., I enjoyed every single minute of it!
Hope we can see more of this on the next DBash investigation stages!
Honestly, for me, Southsun was probably the weakest/less enjoyable living story I’ve seen so far.
The event itself paled in comparison with the Frost & Fire story stages, lorewise there was no high motivation to going and actually help, many less things were at stake, and as for the menace of Canach, it was weak (which again, in order to learn more about him, you must read from the main page, something that really should stop for the next Living Story in my opinion).
The PvP event was less than enjoyable this time, compare it to the halloween ones, the hide and seek and the pumpkin and skeleton rising were absolutely amazing.
As for this last stage, can’t say it was totally bad, but wasn’t great either (I still think the Molten Alliance dungeon did a better job on this matter). It was challenging, but perhaps, it was too much challenge for everyone to handle, and for a living story I think it was unnecessary the level of difficulty.
I really hope that Dragon Bash L.S. could deliver, got high expectations on that one!
Tengu & Kodan should be the next playable races (for me), As for the Skritt I’ll rather have one as a pet haha.

Hello there, first time posting on these forums.
I’m having this error code since yesterday I think, I can’t play more than 10 minutes without getting a huge spike and then I got dc’ed.. It was nearly impossible for me to finish a dungeon -_-, but that’s irrelevant.
I’d like to know if someone else is having this error too, and if so, how can I fix it (if such a thing is possible), if not, could someone else tell me if it’s due the recent patch or something else?
