Same. I’m getting connettion errors eevertime i try to log. Even the website isn’t available through my laptop. I can only access this forum with my smartphone so i trough it was an ISP issue and I contacted them and now They are making some test. Is GW2 server address changed? I can’t submit a ticket due can’t log with my laptop. Any help?

I like that message and I think it will avoid some of the harassments . Even if I think there isn’t such a difference from mine in what it says ( in the first part at least). Of course this won’t eliminate all of the brutal answer but i guess I’ll give it a try.

@Joshua how would in your opinion the majority of straight people (and also some gays) feel discovering to have been invited into a gay club by one of their friend only when they are into it?
I would like the answer to this question was “They won’t have any problem!”.
The reality is something different, so for that i’m clear on what we are, to be sure people that join our guild would be fine with us!

Really, any guild message is fine, just don’t openly state that “gays are welcome”, because it’s treating them differently to how you would treat anyone else, and they don’t need to be treated differently.

I’m my message I state “we are mostly gay, we are far from homophobes (and any other kind of racism) and created a safe space where respectful players are welcome” not anything else. Why should I be harassed for stating what we are if we aren’t offending anyone?

thank you for your feedback though i have some concerns about the example you did, i don’t think those are comparable cases.
That said, I’m totally ok with people looking forward for people who aren’t racist like the “Blackfriendly guild” would intend couse what i meant with “Gayfriendly guild” is just that our guild has no problem with LGBT people but also we ain’t any issue with straights (we also look for respectful people so racist ain’t good for us). I guess “Blackfriendly guild” should have no problem with black people or with any other race that’s respectful of them. SO i don’t get your point. I’m fine with this.

And about what you get by reading my recuiiting message:
1)Gays and Straights have a difference in their sexual preferences;
2)We do accept respectful players (gay or not);
3) We refuse unrespectful players (gay or not).
Yet don’t get what is strange?
I’ll ask you to write down a recruiting message for my guild so I can consider some changes if this I stated isn’t clear by reading mine.

I’m the leader of a gayfriendly guild and everytime i try to recruit in the map chat i have to deal with people that start harassing me and it’s being realy annoying now.
My message is always the same:
" Rainbow Pride [GAaY] is a gayfriendly guild recruiting respectful people. /w me for more info."
Now am I doing something wrong? I report those people but i feel like Don Chisciotte, so maybe would I hve to change something please couse i’m really kittened (profanity?) now about these people and they are always the same.

what about rewarding winning server of the match with a chest that has a possibility for a rare skin like the red rose? this should bring more player!

It’s been 2 weeks that i’m trying to get full map explo with my warrior but it seems those days it is impossible for whiteside ridge players and also borderlands ain’t swapping at all!
What should i do? This could be the reason why I stop playing this game. sad sad sad.

My boyfriend and I have lately returned to the game. We used to be leader and founder of a very special guild called Rainbow Pride. When we left the game we dropped our leadership to the most kind friend in the guild but we still have founder status. Since we gone guild evolved and joined a new one called Fabulous, an alliance of many guilds we used to play with. This guild no longer exists. Our friends no longer play. Which is sad couse both me and my boyfriend spent a lot of time with those people and used to have lot of fun togheter. But anyway we asked our friend to give us back the leadership couse when we came back we did join another guild but felt something was missing and that something is our guild with our friendship. So we are wondering to build a new one, but we would like to give a second life to Rainbow Pride couse it is an advanced guild (architecture, economy , ecc.). Also incoming guild halls gave us a reason more to try.
But we can’t do it by ourselves.
So what is so special in our Guild? Our Guild used to be a mature and gay friendly guild and we would like to keep it as it was. Yes I am a boy and I’m gay but we don’t push on being gay as the only way to join our guild. We also had straight guys and girls, one of them as an officer. We are just asking people to be respectful and friendly.
So if you are looking for a friendly bunch of crazy people, but a bunch of people that won’t use gay word as an insult this is your home.

Is it just me or the drop rate for giant wintersday gift is diminuished?
I usually got back a huge gift(the exotic one with 5 yellow boxes inside) every 20 giant gifts but now i’m not getting any and i did open over 200 giant gift.

well i was not talking about a salvage kit… i’ll tell my story. I did craft leggings twice with same stats(noob). Now i know it’s my fault couse i did the mistake but for such high value items shouldn’t exist a protection system? Like when you try to destroy something valuable and they ask you to type the entire name of the item. I’m not saying they did wrong to think as they did. I’m just saying would be nice to be able to have a solution to such a situation.

Is there the possibility to consider the idea to add a reversing tool for crafted ascended gear?
Due ascended gear are expensive and they are account bound (you can’t even salvage them) what about to provide gamers the possibility to recover mats they used if they change up their minds or even if they simply do a mistake crafting a wrong piece?

I was an hardcore player om gw2 till the Crown Pavilion update(about september 2013).
I already know about the ascended gear, well not all about, I also read about the end of the scarlet witch living story with the LA distruction and I also seen the new trait line system but i would like to ask few questions and i hope someone can help me with those.
1) Is the upcoming living history going to have related temporary achievements, like the old living story, that you can only obtain within the 2 weeks?
2) Do still ascended gear farm have time gates?
3) What about the megaserver?
4) What about world bosses after megaserver?
5) Feel free to let me know everything has changed that you think I would like to know about.

Yeah and for what? Maybe they wanna that people from low populated server go on one that’s more populated so they will say, is it not our fault if we ar closing this server, you all gone away. You know what?

What i like:
Welcome to legendary wepons stats upgrade and free choice on the stats, I think it’s right to reward who spent so much effort on crafting one legendary or more altough i’ve to understand what means to craft an ascended (do it require enough effort to have the same stats of a legendary?).

What i have to understand:
-New crafting levels. I like the idea to add new mats but i don’t understand why they shouldn’t work as the others (where are the nodes? and mainly, why are they account bound?). Maybe they want us to play contents we usually don’t to have those? Well that’s not good couse if i don’t play it is couse i don’t like it and maybe a change of the content would be welcome. Daily time gating? really? I don’t like to have limits in a game i bought. I think that didn’t work on celestial gear and it won’t work again.
-So the same is for the Ascended Weapons, I like the idea to add new weapons (that is always a welcome change but pls can u add some armor too?) but i still have to understand what about the effort to have one as I said.
-Adding new stats combo (Assassin) can be a good idea, but i have to think on it couse of the big messing that the new mats and weapons stats gave me. Basically to much maths atm and i’d rather those added in a different update.

What i dislike:
-Super jumping box is back. My bar space asked me for vacation. Well i like the idea to have linked and returning content as SAP is but this is nothing different than JPs and we had enough of those.
-What’s really added to the game? Some crafting, some JPs. That’s not enough for me, I wanna play around, I wanna new maps to explore, new events to play, new dungeons not just boring contents. I already know how to craft, i already know how to jump.

So, taking apart the legendary weapons change, for me the rest could be not that good couse after i crafted what i want about new things, where is the new content where to use it?

This is just my analysis i didn’t mean to be rude or anything.

Hi, i’m trying to complete the overall achivement of the queen jubilee and i did the torch daily one today but it didn’t count in the achivement. Is it a bug?

I’m playing on a laptop too, i bought it less than 4 months ago and is a gaming one with 4GB of dedicated VRAM. Since last patch my fps dropped from 45fps to 13-16dps and my pc turn off couse of the overheating.
Fact is that’s not written nowhere that the game is for Desktop PC only…
So ANet should think to fix this too, instead if my GPU will melt i will ask ANet to pay the bill for my laptop couse minimu requirement are long way underm my laptop level.
