Still bugged when selling. Instant ‘Error Attempting to Sell’, just like it was six hours ago when the problem started.

Ever since I equipped my Sylvari Ranger with T3 Cultural Armor, I’ve noticed that her footfall sounds – whatever the terrain – are completely gone. She runs around in an eerie silence rather than crunching on snow and gravel, etc.

Unequipping and reequipping the armor seems to fix it temporarily, but the problem comes back in about a minute – and every time a log or rezone.

Needless to say, this constant reminder that something’s wrong, with every step I take, is hugely irritating.

I’m not saying there’s a feature where you can Pause and Resume the update.

I’m just saying that when you start downloading again, and it starts at 0%, it’s carrying on from where you left off – not downloading the whole lot again.

Actually, there is a resume. The files you already downloaded are there on your computer.

When you resume the download, the client is telling you that you have downloaded 0% of the files that are left. You’re not going right back to the start.

This is one of those problems where, of course, the title says it all. Yet again.

I even attempted to try the trick of switching to French Language. It then proceeded to download the entire game again – which I only noticed when the usage-alert for my connection came up – and after two hours … stalled on the last file. Yet again.

There’s the possibility that you might have hit something on the way down, or landed in the wrong place, or have landed wearing something other than your underwear.

IIRC, the Dives only register if you land in water with your Goggles on and only then go back to normal.

This always happens. Whenever I try to download an update, it ALWAYS stops with two files left, and 341KB downloaded.

This is with my 3-Network connection (I’m in the UK) which I’ve bought and paid for, and in every single other thing is perfectly reliable.

The only way I’ve EVER managed to download an update is by finding some shonky Wi-Fi Cloud connection and downloading it with that. Surely this state of affairs is the wrong way round?

Especially, since the updates often happen outside of UK working hours, when any fre Cloud signal I might find is turned off.
