As a point, the sword itself is called Dawn. The “of Rage” just happens to be the Sigil of Rage that’s attached to it.
Guardians, while they’ve got the heavy armour, are tied with the Elementalist and the Thief for for lowest HP. Keep that in mind when you hear people talking about how hard to kill the Guardian is.
It’s not a Heal, your Heal Skill is your Heal. Renewed Focus (hopefully) buys you the time to use it. Tome of Courage requires you to get it out and then cast it. If you’ve got the time to do that, then by all means, go for it. If you’re in the middle of a fight with no time to escape or if you’re knocked on yourkitten it’s not going to be much help.
My best ranged weapon on a Guardian is someone else playing Mesmer or Necro. It has not failed me yet.
You mean cooperating? Actually playing with another person in a multiplayer game? You’re crazy man.
Some of you are looking at Renewed Focus the wrong way.
Yeah, it’s not as showy as say Tornado, or Moa Morph, it’s not a Force Multiplyer like Time Warp or Battle Standard, but when you get down to low health, it can do something that no other elite can: give you time. It buys you 4 critical seconds to get more energy for dodging, to get skills to recharge to allow you to keep on fighting, to get conditions to end. You can use Virtues while you’re channeling it for extra Health, and since you’re invulnerable that’s an extra hit you can take when it ends. If you’ve got Inspired Virtues you’ll also get Regeneration & Protection which is more survivability.
Once it’s done, your passives come back so you can pop them again for more health, soaking another attack, possibly applying AoE Blind if you’ve got Blind Exposure.
Can the Guardian Elites in general be improved? Yeah, they’re not used nearly as often as the other classes’ elites, but Renewed Focus used at the right time they can save yourkitten in a way that no other elite can. Tome of Courage can save the party, but it is a bit more proactive. Tome of Wrath? I think that’s a bit more of a sPvP skill.

I think there’s a typo on the Mystic Salvage Kit. On the store it says a certain amount, but on the item itself it only says 10%…unless they’ve changed that in the past week or so. I reported it through the ingame reporter, but I keep forgetting to post it here.
Suffice it to say, I was rather unhappy having bought one when it said “get the best amount of rare materials possible” only to have it arrive and say that it gave a 10% chance of getting rare materials. I need ecto dangnabbit.
As Dakirn & Ivan suggest, they can be obtained from the Mystic Forge or from high level zone completion. I don’t think they can be crafted. I’m pretty sure the only crafted exotics are level 80…especially seeing as how we can only craft items that are every 5 levels. I’ve never seen a crafted item that’s not divisible by 5.
I did a jumping puzzle which has 6 or 7 little Smuggler’s Chests that can be opened and give the same items as Large & Heavy Mouldy Bags. One recent trip through I got 29 sticks or butter, something like 3 chocolate bars and 2 gossamer scraps. Now, I got Gossamer, so I’m not complaining, but getting butter 5 times out of 7 seems a little…excessive.

She shows up in if you pick the Army step near the end of Orr Story line.
Staff #4 + Altruistic Healing while in a zerg group = 2nd Heal Skill. Seriously, the thing can heal 6k+ hp.
omg you have everything and you want more range too?
Yeah, I kinda have to agree here. The Guardian is strong enough as is.
The armour you can buy from joining the Vigil has Power, Toughness & Vitality.
Healing skills is skill #6 on your bar, not whenever you get a bit of health back.
