Everyone will lose a lot of crit damage with the upcoming patch. That means we do not need to stop using Berserker. We can still augment our damage output by adding bleeding through Sword and Dual Wield Agility.
Not until we see the new sigils and runes, we cannot deduce on how to use them to our advantage.
Try it in PvP training grounds. Just to get the feel of what’s to come.
All Ascended items.
No Hammer mastery means you will be on Axe 1 almost consistently.
No means of condition cleansing means you are fully depending on your 30k health against condition heavy builds.
No means of mobility so you cannot run when you get outnumbered in WvW.
No mobility so you will be kited almost all the time.
I may be wrong though. Try it and let us know.
Warrior class is a good class for new players. Create an account, create a warrior, play the game. When the newbie feels ready for more challenge, play another class .
Warrior mobility is the only way to counter kiting. Kiting is the easiest way to kill a warrior. Play better instead of asking for free kills.
Wish there is a way to teleport them back the moment they run away. Like that Necro skill. Besides, disorientation is one of Mesmer’s tools right?
Back to reality, PvP is fine since there is so little room to run. If they run away from a capture point I will be happy to take it back. In WvW… that’s another story.
A temporal curtain type skill, in which when they cross it, they get blinked back to your position, would be fantastic.
Back to the topic, if it’s sPvP, as funny as it sounds, I’d definitely lean more towards a power based build with access to boon removal. Most warriors are set up for massive condition removal, and I-Zerker and even I-Mage (I know right?) can put a surprisingly nice dent in their health pool.
Temporal curtain for zergs… not bad. Can mess up a zerg train to find themselves outside the wall again.
I was thinking in the line of “tagging” a player. Run into the fort? Out you go at a button’s press.
This sounds good for my sword power bleed build. Better attack speed = more crippling+bleed stacks+adrenaline gain indirectly leading to a 100% crit skull cracker. Why? For more bleed stacks of course.

I often see two kinds. GS+S/S which runs away often (no problem there) and those with Hammers who don’t. Those stuns and knock downs triggers so often.
WvW most of the time.
Warriors seems OP in terms of damage and defense.
Constructively asking, are there ways us Mesmers can neutralize their overwhelming advantages?
TL/DR pages 2-5
Warrior is easy to play because of its simplicity in design.
Warrior skills that deal damage are highly predictable. Learn to dodge and that is one skill on cool down.
Warriors are dependent heavily on their skill cool downs. Chill shuts down a warrior.
Warriors need a target to deal damage. Stealth smartly and you will take almost no damage all the time. Clones are difficult to read unless the mesmer keeps on running and performing skills giving away their position.
Sure the three warrior stances protects the warrior but take note that it lasts only 10 seconds and will be on cool down for another 60 seconds. 10 seconds is not enough to kill if the target knows when to dodge, block, stealth, or clone.
If OP witchhunt you want, try visiting http://www.youtube.com/user/bemeric1 where it is 1 versus many anytime all the time.
Tried Defiant Stance combined with Frenzy in a clash filled my HP in under 3 seconds. Combine that with Discipline trait that gives Vigor then I get additonal dodges for the fight.
Endure Pain skill and Endure Pain trait is good in case things go south.
So far here is the build I ave been using an am having quite some fun with it: http://gw2skills.net/editor/?vIAQNAR5enUJSXIWFCmhAnIIQQP+CwYLMF6hjCAkJUFwDA-z0CBYLCy0yAEIwECQJPFRjtCqIasqFYqSAqTLq2bIY+DLqGA-w
What do you guys think? Comments and criticism is most welcome.
I have been reading that the condition warrior is no good. I used it in PVP and it went quite well.

Toughness from Rabid gets converted to condition damage by the Undead rune. Plus it gives out survivability in a match up.
With Discipline maxed out, the burst bar fills out so fast that LB burst becomes almost always useable. The fire field opens up all the combo options for additional fire duration.
