give Axe#5 AOE pull and maybe it will get some use
I use it on my Sinister warrior in WvW. LB adrenaline gain is crazy when traited for bonus adrenaline on crit. Precision bonus for popping sigils, which lasts longer than the sigil CD , are also cool.
I used banner because I do not want to have Warhorn in a fight in WvW. It is mainly used for speed boost and the precision bonus. Nerfing it because they are nitpicking on how it should be used is absurd. No one wants to pick up a banner because banner skills does next to nothing for damage, protection, mobility, survival, condition mitigation, etc.
Please stop asking for warrior improvements. The more we ask the more we get nerfed like banner and warhorn.
Warrior keeps on getting nerfed because of the same overused reason: high HP and high armor. Warrior STANCES are next because many are cornered to them for survival.
A pull would be so useful! Probably won’t happen tho because anet does the opposite of what warriors need lol
This. I imagine them nerfing it further by giving us Immobilize /Launch because of the “quake” we created. LoL.
Funny thing is that rifle skills still sucks.
Going Berzerk mode is ridiculous. Just baseline attack speed bonus when TRAITED to Berserker and give us both F1 and F2 for normal and berserk burst skills.
It feels like they are interchangeable in terms of concept.
Get 3 full bar adrenaline, activate Rampage for 15 seconds.
How come other specializations is activated immediately after selecting a trait but ours are very conditional and have a time limit? A weaker burst damage already offsets tge reduced recharge time. Why cant we simply have 2 bursts to choose from when TRAITED to Berserker.
The one second delay is more likely a bandaid solution to a problem they cannot/will not address. Maybe just adding an extra second quickness to offset this?

Kill shot is a perfect example of high risk high reward.
It’s 1500 range. That alone makes it one of the least risky skills in the game. I’m not saying it’s OP or anything, but it really isn’t risky unless your opponent is already in your face.
How many times must it be said that the only thing good about rifle is Killshot? Seriously choosing rifle instead of other weapons available automatically makes you high risk.

Get fire field from torch > Sundering Leap into zerg for Fire Aura > Swap to trigger Chill sigil > Axe#5 for Whirl Finisher (if still in fire field) and tons of adrenaline > Activate Berserker > Hulk Smash > Activate Rampage after Berserker > Hulk Smash
You can go on writing L2P if that makes you feel pro, but the fact still remains. That damage is too high. 10K, I can live with, add some vulnerability, or a blind, or change some other skills to make rifle more appealing, but to be 1shotted from 1500 range isn’t fair nor amusing.
Before complaining here, have you brought this up in the Thief forum? You can get some advice on how to counterplay Warrior both in PvP and WvW.
We are actually being generous by telling you how to kill us and still you are not satisfied.
Given that you did not see a Warrior’s Killshot was aimed at you (low armored thief), you get hit, you go on down state. OP? Warrior is a burst type of profession. Warrior does not have stealth, clones, or perma dodge to get into position.
You got out positioned and also did not have environment awareness as required for all Thieves.
Post the same in the Thief boards and you will get the same answer… L2P.
Guardian have high armor, protection, aegis, regen. It is fair. Just wait it out and you will be fine. Kite, stealth, dodge, block, L2P.
Where do you expect to find mesmers?
It isn’t like they are in huge demand for WvW groups.
I haven’t seen any WvW guild advertising for mesmers for at least a year and a half.
It is always Eles, Guards, Warriors or Necros.
Why shouldn’t classes like Mesmers and Thieves be good at the solo/small group roaming?
Mass invisibility, Veil, Portal. Yeah who needs Mesmers in WvW?

Why do we need to activate Berserk every 15 seconds to get acess to Primal Burst? Can’t we have it as a passive way?
That is called a profession buff. Warriors only get nerfs as a general rule. To get something good, you have to get Berserker trait… before it gets nerfed “for balance” (aka QQ)
Not much of a loss really. There is already away to stack ridiculous might with little effort on your part.

A constructive comment would have been appreciated. Saying to stack might from Elementalist friends does not make the warrior class better.
Also saying it is not much of a loss does not negate nor support the topic being discussed.
Rifle AA is a joke TBH. Number 1 problem with this range weapon is how short the range is. The enemy is either within range for melee or out of range for rifle. That is why LB is still more popular.
Increase Rifle range to 1200 for starters and maybe it can get some play time.
Make AA baseline spreadshot like a shotgun. It serves like low damage cleaving weapon and rewards the warrior for extra damage should we close the gap.

Using blast finishers in a fire field isn’t the same as clicking an item in your inventory 13 times really quickly.

If the devs took a closer look and reduced Arcing Slice damage as “balance”, I’ll be laughing my heart out.
Nerfing a weapon that was ignored was not a smart move to begin with. Putting Bleed back does not make it any better. Also the more we ask for improvements the more the weapon gets nerfed. Mark my words. Rifle will get nerfed again.

Coated bullets, a trait on engineer got removed with the reasoning that I’d do too much dmg into groups.
Pistol #1 has a similar mechanic to the berserker rifle F1, in that it spawns secondary aoe-dmg upon impact & with the trait “coated bullets”, it could pierce up to 5 targets. However, even in zerker gear, it was never exceeding numbers of 900-1000. On five targets, that would have been 4.5k – 5k AA dmg.Now berserker receives the option to pump out 30k-40k into WvW groups, on a burst skill that is on a very low cd.
How does this make sense & more importantly, why is it not considered OP in itself?
Don’t worry. ANet will nerf Berserker back to the ground where it belongs after they get all the money they can squeeze from the HoT hype. Hope that things will change for the better brings in real world money.
It is because Flaming Flurry does not appear to be a skill for stationary targets. It has a spread similar to LB Fan of Fire, only narrower.

Given how far Warrior as a profession has fallen in terms of damage dealing and survivability, players will now take anything thrown their way.

Activating Sigil of Might makes next attacks unblockable and immune from Blind

I think it whould be a 4-second internal cooldown for Warriors traited for Fast Hands (5 second ICD for weapon swap) wearing full Rune of the Warrior set (Reduce weapon swap ICD by 20%)
5 seconds less 20% = 4 seconds. Should this happen Versatile Power will not proc thus negating its function.
Those are good ways to handle sigils. It is not OP at all for those who knows how to dodge, blind, interupt, block, stealth. What good is Might if you are permablinded right? Chill every 5 sec when you do not know where the thief or the mesmer is because of stealth.
It is not a one button win like many are crying about. It takes skill and planning to use sigils.
On Swap Sigils have ICD of 9 seconds. I suggest to have their ICD to the ICD of weapon swap.
Fast Hands will have the value of 5
Fast Hands with Rune of the Warrior will have the value of 4
Rune of the Warrior will have the value of 8

Sinister Armor Set
I don’t know how’d they add fast hands to baseline as it alters a universal mechanic without the othe classes rioting…maybebif they made it a sigil? Like when you swap to this weapon, weapon swap cool down is decreased by 50%?
They did create Rune of the Warrior reducing weapon swap CD to 8 sec. If it was 5 seconds maybe, and just maybe, it will be considered.
I agree about not giving up on Berserker ’s Power nor Defense survivability.
This support build is great in organised WvW. Not sure if it works in PvP.
Consider a different approach by sharing Might via Phalanx Strength.
5 from using a heal via Strength spec
3 from using a heal via Rune set like brawler or Aristocracy
5 from Frenzy
6 from FGJ (3 from skill and additional 3 from sharing)
5 from SoR
Total 24 from utilities alone.
Am using Sinister set LB for damage support and might blasting. Alternate weapon is sword warhorn for additional blasting, mobility, condi cleanse, extra bleed.
Traited signet works best as you get signet cooldown reduction and precision bonus for additional crits.
So let me get this straight, Sword torch, leap and get 10 second fire aura, then do the datamined AoE taunt thing to spread Burning and gain Might. Assuming Flames of War firefield does not dissipate on weapon swap, we can go Eviscerate on axe for another fire aura. Did I get this right?

Being masters of weaponry, Elite Warriors can carry up to four (4) sets of weapons. Similar to the Elementalist’s elemental affinity, warriors can swap sets using F1-F4 (F5 being Burst?). Weapon swap reduced cool down is base line.
Change is subtle but Warriors now become TRUE masters of weaponry.

WvWvW Backline Warrior:
The main idea is to give out 21 stacks of Might before engaging using utilities then providing support from behind using LB. Sword will give you some mobility and WH will cleanse off 2 conditions and cripple, slow, immobilize.
Blasts from LB and WH can be used in water fields for AoE heals or fire fields for additional Might. AoE Might from FGJ and fire blasts are twice as effective to your allies because they get blasted then they get another from your might sharing trait.

now what are berserkers? because they actually existed and the background is reflecting their use very well.

they were reckless warriors that fought without caring about getting wounds inflicted, their sole purpose was to maw down the enemy fighters. you can clearly see this from the background as he is in a “come at me bro” pose with arrows sticking out of his chest.
sadly, unlike the engi spec background called “forge” that depicts a charr engi with a hammer and drones, the warrior one does not show any weapon.
Your berserker survives through heavy punishment. I imagine berserker as one who looks for heavy punishment in search of the perfect death. I imagine them to be as attached

This also offers Condi cleanse from warhorn.
Feels useful in party. So so only in 1v1 as long as you get to ambush a target.

Works well with Rousing Resilience. 1000 extra armor for 8 seconds in a WvW clash will help you survive long enough to do your chain then eject from the fight. Pop the Balanced Stance and you get another 8 seconds.
Fire field + Blast finisher = Might
We get fire field from Longbow burst.

Actually it does what it needs to be done. Give it a try.
If it is just lag I should’ve gotten a fire bolt with Axe#5.
I notice this most when I set a fire field front of WvW tower gates to boost PVD players.
Rune of the Pack gives power, precision, might, fury,and swiftness. Pretty much an all around Rune set.
Berzerker armor and weapon set gives you decent damage.
Knight accessory set gives you decent survivability.
