Why do we have to compromise? There is no reason to remove or nerf ricochet.

Yay!!!! I got my money back. I will wait for them to fix the class and I will pay for hot. No more free money for these guys.

Those who paid for HOT and not happy with the thief class and looking for refund, log a ticket and you will get your money back.

I am not talking about DD. I am talking about normal thief class. It was getting bad a year ago and I quit the game. Now it’s worst.

Thanks for your input! I’ll send this information to a few of the developers personally so I can make sure it gets the proper review it deserves. I’d say if they use your constructive feedback as a guideline for fixing thief, we’d see thief emerge from the darkness and find themselves in a great spot!

Welcome to the club. I took a break for a year due to all the nerfs we had to take. The current state of thief is worst than before. I am very disappointed and frustrated. I paid for HOT thinking thief is going to be great but I feel like I got scammed.

When was this trait removed? I quit the game a year ago because of all the nerfs thief had. I would like read the game update for this change.

I am jealous now lol. I think they did a good job on this elite class.

And when we ask them if they are going to fix it you get infractions.

I enjoyed playing p/p with ricochet, I am not sure if I should re-roll or deal with it lol.

I was very happy with thief class until they nerfed critical damage, opportunist,ricochet etc..

Just to reiterate, could you clarify the cooldown of well of eternity? In BWE2, it was 20 seconds. Is it being moved to 25 or to 30?

One thing though, any clarification on the wells finally being distinguished as ally or enemy? For the last two weekends they have had ally rings on them regardless is if it is an enemy’s. Needs the red line for distinguishing.

Thanks for mentioning this, I hadn’t seen any reports on this yet so I’ll look into it.

Not sure if I like this change at all, very sceptical about this one. Sure, I want to test it first – but placing phantasms in melee range, and only hitting one target with slow at the time is a big nerf overall to this one.

Slow is also applied AoE.

Very disappointed with the changes. I am not going to give any feed back here because we have been giving feed back since years and nothing has changed. So don’t delete my post saying that I am not giving any feed back. If you kittening read all the threads created by us then you will know what needs to be done.

Bring back ricochet trait!

It’s sad that we are losing a fun class. I have no plans on playing any other class. I will wait for them to rework the thief class.

They should at least tell us if they are working on it or not going to do any changes for P/P.

I am still annoyed that they removed this trait without any discussions with the thief community.

This is why I’m making my very first reply ever. I’m constantly reading post in the forums to get info and stuff, but never reply until now. I bought the ultimate expansion shortly before the patch that removed the ricochet, and now I’m wishing I didn’t. I’ve been playing the game since it came out, hardly taking breaks from it for no more than 3 wks at a time. This is the first mmo that I’ve played that I didn’t end up quitting after 7 months from its first release. So, it’s obvious I really like this game and the game play, especially the game play of the pistol thief, which eventually became my main toon once I discovered how fun the game play was with p/d. I also venom share with the shadow arts trait line and boon share on steal, to be a good team player. I love the ricochet because of getting the aoe in wvw zergs or small skirmish fights. It makes me feel I’m really helping with group fights, more so than with only the venom and boon sharing. I really hate the shortbow and only see #5 being useful for escaping a group that’s trying to yank me because they outnumbered me. To keep me playing the game, I’d really like to see ricochet return. When I discovered it was removed, along with the range on pistols, that’s the first time, I was so upset with this game. And I usually don’t get bothered with games like this because of preferring to keep games from effecting my life like that. It upset me so much, here I am, writing a reply, for the first time ever.

I took a break from this game because they have been nerfing thief class every single update. I just started again and nothing is motivating me to play this game again!!!

I will stick around for sometime and see if they make any good changes to p/p build
