Was trying it on PvE and did not like it. Maybe in PvP and WvW where theres less enemies to deal with but even then you cant really tell if your Magnet is going to be successful since theres is no way to measure the distance.
In guildwars 1 you had a circle around your dot on the minimap and you could measure with that and if your target was not in range, your own character would walk to it to do the skill.
Most of the time I ended up whiffing.
I would love that. The first skill of every KIT should have that implemented.
Adrenaline Pump-Does not work with Turret Toolbelt skills.
No. I cant tell if it is intended or not so I dare not to say how to do it. It can be done pretty easily.
Thanks for the info!
My rule of thumb: Sell things (at least)30% higher than what the vendor would have given you. Should give you a 11% difference between vendors price and TP income(this is counting after -15%).
100c VENDOR
130c PRICE TO SET AT TP
130c – 130(0.15[the total cost of a successful sale]) = 110.5c ; around 111c
To those who have not found out the bitter truth yet: The loot from the Black Lion Chest is not worth the gold/gems that the keys cost. I’ve spent 900 gems for keys (10) and with those + the keys (3 I think) I’ve got as quest rewards I’ve opened some 20+ chests. My results?
ONE black lion salvage kit (worth 300 gems)
ONE pack of fine transmutation stones (worth 200 gems)
ONE instant repair canister (worth 70 gems)
TWO bank access tokens (worth 150 gems)Plus
A TON of absolutely useless, account bound tonics, of which the only meaningful use is to take up your bank space.
A FEW Black Lion harvesting tools with ridiculously low usage count.
A BUNCH of boosters, fun but ultimately useless. So unless you think the last three are worth something, it’s not worth to purchase keys from the gem store until ANet makes the chest loot worth the price of opening them.
Want proof to my point? Check the price of Black Lion Chests in the TP.

They could increase the prices of said content inside the chest. Cruel (and unacceptable) but effective on their end or lower the price of the keys and/or increase a bit the chance to find treasure.
Buying keys is same scheme on Team Fortress 2, which now a days a lot of games are putting the same said scheme on their games. I dont find them attractive and, in my opinion, could be considered a vice like putting quarters into a slot machine.
I dont see any reason for your thread to be deleted if is just your opinion.
TIP: DONT delete the chests! Sometimes, in quest and drops, you can get keys for you for free.
