A really underwhelming batch of fixes in this september fixes patch. In the next days we will have what they developed for the china client. I don’t understand why they don’t open more weapons for the classes. They have all the models, animations and particules. The only thing that could explain the no progress in this aspect I think, is there is only one person that works on class/balance/design, that’s why we have so few balance patch and nothing to see there.
As someone mentionned, all the fixes could have been made with the bi-weekly updates. They retained them on purpose. Not even a wardrobe scale feature atm, very underwhelming.
What are we working on right now? Feature Pack 2 (in ~two more weeks), Season 2 of the Living World (coming back this fall), the WvW Fall Tournament, and the World Tournament Series PvP global tournament are just some of the things we are currently working on that we can tell you about right now.
What are doing the 250 others people for a year now ? Is anet like blizzard and has huge management problem ? You should fire 5-10 middle managers, the guys that do nothing but hold off stuff. Stop promoting a dev to manager, increase his pay but a good dev might not be a good lead. Cut off your management, do something with this big team of your. Get to work, or stop wasting your work in things that will never make in game. This so-called feature pack is atm nothing, it could have take 1 dev/day for each “feature”. Did a team really worked on that ?
An option I’d really like to see is smart ground targeting when targeting areas that are out of range.
Like if I use a 900 range teleport, but I cast it at 1000 range, then it still casts at it’s maximum 900 range in the direction of where I tried to cast it. Instead, right now it just fails until you target within range, which usually means you’ll waste like 100 range.
This would be a huge QOL change.
