SB in the best ranged in WvW, as it is the only weapon that is able to hit anything on the walls, well… only CB and poison does

Ok I get the point there that projectile still fly in the same direction as it was released/shot, but Rapid Fire still hit you in stealth no matter which direction you move and also Spatial Surge continue to focus down on you in stealth
Have you ever tried just quickly strafing back and forth during rapid shot? Depending on the range it’s a nearly sure-fire way to make every shot miss. Even if you’re not stealthed.
It do seems to be an exploit >.>
Well regarding quickness and stomping there seems to be some sort of sync issue as you can kill the player before the cast bar fills
The AoE on the walls while defending is completely ridiculous to a point where it’s almost impossible to stand in a place for more than 3 seconds until someone lays down lava font or meteor.

For power build, SB would be the best ranged weapon compared to pistol due to the fact that pistol autoattack trade off dmg for bleed, pistol would be useful only for unload spam…
Condition build pales in comparison to Power build due to
- As mentioned condition removal skill is abundant
- Condition dmg works well with condition duration but is easily countered by condition removal
indeed damage and condition damage are not one and the same…
I think there will be a huge patch at some point to address condition damage with the pathetic limit of 25 stacks for bleed etc but we shall see.
My main issue with condition damage is that divinity runes dont add the stat even though they clearly state 10 to all stats… Its due to condition damage being added late in beta but still.
I am thinking it only add the Primary Attributes which are
- Power
- Precision
- Toughness
- Vitality
Ok I understand. Cond dmg in pvp is pretty laughable at some situations as well. Some profs have a passive cond removal every 10sec, it’s impossible to get some dmg going.
Yup, I do agree it was pretty bad against condition dmg build as it remove the entire stacks of X condition
Actually stealth is working as intended. This game was built with the idea that you can dodge all attacks be it sword arrow or spell, they can all be dodged. Similarly if you are in their path you will get hit by said attack. Therefore, being stealthed doesn’t change your position in world space, nor does it transport you to some other dimension where you are invisible or some nonsense. You’re still there, just invisible. So if you stealth and they’re mid swing and you don’t dodge, expect to be hit. If there is a channeled spell in progress, same deal. The abilities run for their duration whether you stealth or not.

Shadow Refuge is still bugged (I believe)
When used, it creates an AoE that pulses health and stealth. The AoE Circle itself lasts for a short amount of time and at minimum will stack at least 10 seconds of stealth before it disappears. But after the AoE Circle has disappeared, if you step outside of the now imaginary AoE circle, you instantly lose your stealth and become visible again.
I am not sure if this is intended or if it’s just oversight. I’ve heard people say that they can leave Shadow Refuge and still retain stealth but I have not yet been able to do it once.

The area it was cast on retains this property for about 10 seconds after the spell was cast, or 6 seconds after the refuge appears to have expired. You will be revealed even if you were stealthed by another skill and didn’t enter the refuge while it was pulsing.
I have tried leaving the field with 9 or so seconds on it
Cluster Bomb
If Detonate is pressed right before the bomb hits the ground, it queue another bomb aimed on the character, which waste initiative.
Channeling skills continue to hit while in stealth, so it may seems that agro did not break.
From what I understand,
Damage =/= Condition Damage
Devona’s Rest or Kaineng 100% guarantee no queue time.
Well… Ethernal Battleground PoI and vista is the hard part if you are in Devona or Kaineng cos they dont have enough people to cap.
Then server transfer is the only option
