I have been playing on around 230~250 ping and I have noticed that shadow shot damage part is very unreliable, quite often the damage part will fail to land on mobs when the character is moving. Even when the character remains stationary through out the cast of the shadow shot, there is a chance (1 in 5) that it will fail.
First half of the video shows using shadow shot when character is moving.

As shown in the video, due to high ping or delays it make it impossible to do the adventure since those leaps and mushroom jump will sometimes fail or have a huge delay in the activation. Since quite a few adventure involves bouncing mushroom and leaps, I would like the changes to gliding where they they go from being server side to client side be applied to adventure related mechanics like bouncing mushroom and leaps as mentioned above.

Autobalance is bugged as it don’t award win credit, so… sad sobs get balanced when they are in like 400 v 200 match.
Also, jump pads don’t seems to travel the full distance which happens quite frequently

So… just got balanced from a 400 v 300 game then win is not awarded….
Pretty bad design imo
I do agree that trickery line is the go to in the current meta due to the bonus init and steal cd reduction.
with the current state of thief they only have dodges as a means to mitigate damage and only dodge, stealth only have a 25% reduction when traited in shadow arts which dont see much uses in the current meta
Just hate that a slow projectile hits a target right after you pop blinding powder.
I’d like to see the new balance open up more build variants for thief other than the standard cookie cutter build. Moar D/D and P/P

Yes, i would assume SEA is suffering from massive latency spikes…
I myself is from SG and i am having around 400 to 800 ping with spike from 2k to disconnect.
Still the same kind of ping issue here… 2k spikes and totally unplayable, not even story works due to glider design, character will just not do anything and u can only move around and wait for the error message “Client lost connection…”

Also seems to have issue in loading server browser in PvP.

These few days I am getting very bad ping spike of upwards of over 4k while usually I am running at around 210~250.

All my shadowsteps ability get clips on random branches and roots…. and even cracks, guess i am moving too fast to avoid them and got held up.
Please post your build where you’re doing 15k backstabs, 5k+ hits, perma blinds, are tanky AND evasive.
Every other spec now have access to that kind of dmg to bring target down from 100 to 0 in an instant, except…. thief.
-Why there is no balance between thieves and another characters? Why you buff characters with top builds in the past (like meditation builds) now with ONESHOT traps?
-Why all the classes has blocks and invulnerabilities and thieves no?Please im very sad about thieves since 2014, please help thieves community developers.
Thief have single trigger traps. That do jack all…
And thief have Stealth and also Last Refuge
Pulmonary Impact can have multiple stacks just like condi, and it should scales with power.
I think Physical skills goes into cool down once casted.
Impact strike is just bad in PvE imo…
I think having channeling skills to hit the “Last Seen” location would be a viable fix to this issue.
Case 1: getting rapid fire-ed, stealth and walk away

It has issue with ping.
On the first bazaar of the four winds, it was broken to the extent that getting sky crystal means dying over a dozen of times trying to get it land on the targeted spot.
It was way better now >.>
Additionally, there is Skill LOCK, which is when you cannot use your 1-5 skills anymore. This comes from picking up a banner (random chance) and can be fixed by getting yourself downed (go jump off a cliff ..)
Or u can just get yourself CC-ed, that is the next best option as opposed to dying.
also the jade maw and conjure weapon pickup lag has existed for years. this issue however has only cropped up recently since the latest patch. so even though they behave similarly, i don’t think it’s exactly the same thing. but fixing one would probably fix the other too.
Pickup lagging is most likely linked to ping, as some videos on youtube do not show any of the above mentioned “lag”.

I have rebinded A&D turning to Q&E strafing, hence freeing up my Q&E
First, they do block out parts of the platforms, but after a few tries the jump can be attempted by pure timing (without looking at the edge of the platforms)

I also hate when I use infiltrator’s arrows, where it is suppose to be instant cast but sometimes it dont use it instantly. So what happen is I cast it again, then when the game catches up, it just shadowstep me to the same place twice and leaving me with no initiative.
The best part is, any bleed removal skill can remove the entire 25 stacks instantly

Well… first cant dodge while immobilized.
Second only way to cancel an attack ATM currently is esc, but untargeting is the first priority when pressing esc
Glass cannon backstab dies in a second. If you cant kill him when he failed his combo, i’m sorry to tell you, but you suck =/. Thief doesnt have that much abilities to go stealth, even less if its glass cannon.
If the thief goes invi, i keep spamming autoattack to the air, I guess the direction he went and keep attacking. That puts him in fact, in great disadvantage.
Also, if its in shadow refuge, he cant leave it in some time. Aoe that.
Well unless there is stealth culling, where he run off the circle without showing for 3 sec

That being said, Kaineng is strong as it is now is because of the guild transfer.
Blind used on player or mob with rapid attacks are pretty much useless, especially with skill that apply blind once.
Well… blind field is another thing entirely.
No, I mean that Body Shot and Head Shot are underwhelming abilities in my experience. That’s 2 out of 5 skills. That’s quite a lot.
The fact that p/p auto attack have no synergy with 2 and 3 really make it underwhelming, compared to other build…
Also for such a fancy name head shot do too darn little dmg…
If you were going 3/3 armour, why wouldn’t you go 2/2/2 and get an extra +15% bleed duration? It’s krait/centaur/affliction I believe.
Extra 15% is beneficial but, condition removal is readily available, so extra dmg should be better (110 condition dmg).
Revealed only trigger when one attack when “Stealthed” is still active
IMO racial skill is weaker compared to profession skills

@OP: venom not using charge when misses would be nice, but regenerating venom do seems a bit op
