What you see as a grind is only because your current goal is to achieve 80 in the fastest time possible. If you just play the game doing the parts you enjoy, instead of making it your goal to grind to 80 asap it will take you a little bit longer to hit 80, but you will have fun doing it. In comparison to other MMO’s this game has one of the quickest level progressions from 1-80 because you get exp from almost any action you do other then standing in town.
Server location does not represent the actual location of where a server is, but gives a central location for people from that region be able to play with other from there own region instead of being spread out over multiple servers and being a minority.
Some games do put servers in differ locations to help people ping and connection, but not all. I do not the think oceanic servers are centralized in the ocean.
Okay. I overclocked it to 4 ghz
Look at this link and tell me please if my voltage and temps are fine, ok?

On my system I run at 1.26 your voltage at that level is great if you can remain stable. The CPU can go up to 105 degress max but most peope, including myself do not like to run them hotter then 85.
Make sure when you check your max temp by using either prime95 or intelburntest. If you can do prime95 for 8 hours or intelburntest for about 2 hours without overheating/crash then you are very stable. Try to keep your memory during the test at 90% of your available also which helps check your memory at the same time.
If you system is not stable you can bump up your voltage a tad or lower your overclock depending on what type of temps you are pulling. I would highly recommend at least running a Coolermaster 212 Evo ( about $35 USD as your heatsink, you should be able to hit a very nice overclock with it without overheating).
I am running 4.30 ghz stable with no problem, gets a quirk at 4.40 unless i overheat my cpu. I decided to let my system just roll at 4.30 rather then waste a few hours pushing a couple hundred more mhz.

I don't think my framerate should be this low...

Have you tried using just 1 display, not just swapping them around?
AFAIK You don’t get the listing fee back.
The game actually says in the tooltip you get it back, but your right…you really do not get money back.
Game Mechanics: Tooltips say there is a 5% listing fee. If the item sells you get your 5% listing back and they take 15% of the selling price.
How a Player see’s it: You pay a 5% listing fee of the Asking Price up front. When the item sells another 10% is taking out of the sale price of the item, you get the rest.
Both these have the same outcome in the end.
A legendary weapon will take approximently 750k -1,000,000+ karma from start to finish if you do it all yourself depending on the weapon.
You are right that the Ivy is better over the sandy, but just because a CPU does not reach 99/100% usage does not mean it is not being bottlenecked by other factors, such as speed for one example. I am not saying speed is your problem, but I can almost guarantee that its your 2 core CPU holding you back, not your GPU at the moment.
Once you upgrade your Video Card and do not get the results you expected you will start to understand your problem better. Good Luck.
Sorry you got scammed but you will not receive your item or any gold back. You should have used the Trading Post. After this guy receives a few complaints he will get a temp 3 day ban. If he continues it can become perm.
Sorry to say No. It’s a painful mistake but I am sure you will recover.
FPS rate decreased significantly after upgrading to Windows 8

Windows 8 is not really designed for Home PC’s and Laptops and most people should stick with Windows 7 on those systems.
Windows 8 is designed for tablets, phones, ect and is a great upgrade to those systems.
You should be able to get windows 8 to work, it is most likely a driver issue. There might not be a driver yet that will work for your dell system with Windows 8 for GW2. I would try some other drivers, or better yet put Win 7 back on your Home PC.
The video card is not your problem. Your main problem is your new I3-3220 is still duel core and bottlenecking your system so you can not fully use your video card. This is why you saw a small performance increase. If you upgrade your CPU to a Quad core you should get at least 35 FPS all the time with that video card. If you upgrade your video card you most likely will not see any increase at all.

After some calculations I figured out if you want to receive X amount of money for an item you need the add 17.65% to the price of the item when you list it on the Trading Post.
You pay the 5% up front. When it sells you get the 5% back but they take 15% of the price it sold for. The extra 2.65% overall comes from having to pay the 15% fee the your mark-up just to try and get the price you want.
To recive 100 Silver = Selling price 117s 65c minus 17s 65c Fees (15% of Selling Price)
You could report him, he may or may not get a warning. Almost guaranteed you would not get the money or the item since you know that the Trading Post is for buying and selling.
Also, if Anet really wanted to be a stickler on the rules they may decide to ban your account for abuse of the in game mail by helping the seller avoid paying TP fee’s for selling an item. The mail system was never designed to buy/sell products.
Even if the deal was legit your not getting a fair shake on the deal. The item goes for 6.4g of which .96g is fees. So in fairness the fee should be split equal .48g. Leaving you with a sale price of 5.92 gold if you bought via mail.
If you are all friends, get together and pick 1 server and all transfer to that server for good. There is no reason to switch back and forth.
It would be really nice if they did put guesting in the game like they promised. Once they do that I believe they need to limit server transfer to 1 per month ( or even 1 per year ) then charge gems for each additional time beyond that limit.
When you put the first one on you get 10% MF, when you put the second on you get 15 power, when you put the third on you get an additional 15 MF.
So overall a full set of 6 will give you 50 MF, 50 Power and 5% drake when hit.
BTW if your trying to max magic find you want 5 Superior of the Traveler and 1 Superior of the Pirate. Noble would work too as long as it is 5 of one type and 1 of another.
You can test this yourself with 3 Major runes that give a stat Power, Precision, Toughness, or Vitality on the #1 and #3 piece. Check your Stat, put on first piece, check your stats, put on 2nd and 3rd piece, check your stats.
Just buy 3 slots so you can have one of every class. Necromancer will plow through the levels with there minions. Mesmer is the most difficult to play until you hit level 40, they become extremely powerful but you also have micro manage them a whole lot every single fight or they will go down. I really do not know much about the Guardian, it is not as popular as the other classes, but that in itself can make them nice to have in a group to add more flexability.
Took a couple hours to do it the first time. After that it just gets easier and easier because the jumps become second nature.
Natural disasters happen everywhere. The West Coast you got Earthquakes, The Midlands you got Tornadoes, The East Coast you get Hurricanes. If you do not like the area because of the Natural Disasters in that area you can always move. People do not need to complain when one happens in there area. If you know you live on a flood plain…don’t go complaining when your house gets flooded one year.
Having the trading post be balance globally is a good thing that allows us to play on other servers as a guest (when they turn this feature on). This way players will not have to jump to all the servers to find the best price…and people will not feel the need to bounce servers just to buy/sell to make a profit because of servers are priced differntly.
It has always been this way since the game launched.
When you buy you pay the current market price.
When you sell you only get the minimum price it has been in the past 5 Days.
This is there way of preventing people from buying gems just to drive up the price then reselling.
