Keep render sampling on ‘native’.
Reflections on ‘off’ or ‘terrian and sky’.
And have Shadows NOT on ‘Ultra’.

The rest u can tweek as u wish. ‘Environment’ tends to have a rather large impact iirc so u could try lowering that.

Also try setting GW2.exe to High priority in the windows task manager, it may give u a few FPS.

To be certain u can run a OSD monitor.

I sugest EVGA PrecisionX.

Install it and setup the OSD to display FPS and GPU usuage.

That will tell u whether ur GPU is maxing out.

Plextor and Corsair are also good choices. I went with a Corsair Performance Pro 128gb..now its a solid SSD but there r newer ones out now.
Ofcourse Samsung r good also but if i were to buy one now i would get the Plextor m5 Pro 120gb.
Infact asuming nothing newer or significantly better comes out within the next couple months i will be buying that for a new rig im building for a family member.

Well ‘fine’ and ‘noticable’ mean different things from person to person. But as i said a good CPu in a laptop can atleats keep it ‘managable’ what ever ur views on FPS are.

I personaly cant stand less than 30 fps in MMO’s and less than 60 fps in First person shooters.

Bottom line is, if u want more performance u will be building bassicaly a whole new Rig. If u want good performance from GW2 that means roughly $/£700.

SolarNova.1052

Sry but im going to be giving u bad news.

$250/£250 wont be enough.

You will bassicaly need a new rig.

GW2 takes most of its performance from the CPU and for WvW u need a 3570k/2550k + 4.5ghz OC to stay above 30fps in the biggest battles.
That means a new motherboard, DDR3 ram and likely, dependong on how old ur rig is, a new Case and PSU. At which point thats bassicaly a new rig.

Cost ur looking at $600-$700/£’s if u re use ur current HDD’s and Optical drives (if they r Sata). thats including a new GPU and the above.

That will run GW2 at medium to high settings and shouldnt drop below 30 fps even in the biggest WvW battles.

I can put together a rig on pcpartpicker if u wish and ill PM the link to u.

SSD-Solid State Drive

Pro’s:
Fast load times
Fast access times
Can help reduce graphics stutter (thnx to the above points)
Physical Size is small.
No moving parts – silent running

Cons:
Storage capacity is small
Expensive compared to HDD
Older models have high failure rate
Can degrade faster than HDD if excessivly used (deleting reinstalling etc)

Personaly i would only buy one if u have spare cash after uprading other important PC parts. Its a nice thing to have but performance wise there are other much more important things u can spend $100/£100 + on.
If u do get one dont get anything smaller than 120gb. install ur OS and ur main 2 or 3 games.
Dont use up all the space. SSD’s run faster with space available ..try to keep it 75% used (25% free).

cpu & graphic card question

SolarNova.1052

anything bassicaly.

Things are very compatable nowerdays. The only things that are not are obviose things like trying to put a AMD cpu into a motherboard designed for a Intel cpu.
or a Intel LGA 1155 cpu into a LGA 2011 board.
And ofc trying to PCI/PCIE v1 v2 v3 into the wrong corresponding slots.

but tbh u’d have to be a blithering idiot to do that :P

Anyway, what ever GPU u have atm make sure it is indeed ur current GPU that is causing any slow downs, as GW2 is very CPU intensive and it could just as easily be ur CPU. A program like EVGA PrecisionX has a good OSD (on screen display) that u can use to tell u ur GPU usuage and FPS. If ur FPS is low and ur GPU usuage is NOT 100%, then u know its not ur GPU slowing u down.

Take a gander at the link below and navigate to the high end video card chart.

GPU temps are fine up to about 90c so i wouldnt worry about that.

Your CPU though at 100% load shouldnt go past the 62c mark. Most run around 55-60c from what iv found out.

Install HWMonitor ..or Coretemp ..and see if that gives different temps for ur CPU.

Correct me if im wrong here Kirito ..but ..AMD cpu’s such as the OP’s shouldnt even get to 100c ..it should shut down waaaay b4 then, iirc the CPU in question has a heat threshold of about 62c or there abouts.

Software cant cause a overheat.

All this means is that ur CPU is unable to stay cool at high usuage. This indicates a cooling problem on ur end.

Make sure the cooler is clean.. make sure the fans are working, make sure they r going at max speed when they need to.
Check ur case’s air flow, if it has dust filters clean them, Make sure u have plenty of air flow coming in from the front/side/bottom and going out the back/top.

If that doesnt help, reseat the CPU with new thermal compound as ur current stuff may have gone of if ur on a old rig. When ur doign this check over the heatsink and fan, make sure nothing has broken or is damaged.

What CPU do u have exactly If its OC’d what is it running at (including Vcore)..and what CPU cooler ?

Hi there.

ok first of ur correct about ur laptop, its not a gaming machine, and unfortunatly no aomunt of tweeking is going togive u many more than maybe 1 or 2 fps becouse ur CPu is only 2 core 2 thread and onl y 2 ghz. GW2 needs much more than that.

Money wise for deskptop u looking at $600-$800 and the same in £’s if ur in the UK.
This is NOT for super monster gaming rig. its simply a rig that is put together with GW2 in mind.
So ur looking at a combination of medium & high graphics settings. The bit that chews up about 1/4 to1/3 of the cost is the CPU which HAS to spent on since GW2 takes most its perofrmance fomr the CPU.

If u want more specifics on exactly which parts u need i can put a list together with links and link it to u. Send me a PM with what parts u have available to put into a desktop already .. Like HardDrives and CD/DVD drives (they have to be Sata not IDE)

Laptop for GW2?

Ok u wont get a laptop that can stay above 30 fpsin big WvW battles but u can atleats get one that stays ‘managble’.

Looks for one wiht atleast one of the following CPU’s
3840Qm
3820QM
3740QM
3720QM
3630QM

GPU wise, its not as important as GW2 takes most of its performance fomr the CPU, but u still need atleast one of the following.
560m,
570m,
580m,
660m,
670m,
680m,
7970m

This combination of CPU & GPU will likely be atleast $1000 and up. its expensive but thats what u need ot spend on a laptop capable of running GW2 more specificaly the WvW portion.

Note that to stay above 30 fps in heavy wvw battles u need a Desktop Intel 2nd/3rd Gen i5 or i7 with around 4.5ghz OC. No laptop can come close to this so u will get sub 30 fps in those types of WvW battle no matter what laptop u get.

Try reposting in the Tech support forum to get more advised responses.
A common misconception is that GW2 needs a good GPU, it doenst ..it needs a very good CPU. You will find more people such as myself in the tech forums who help out alot and know this type of info.

Heres a good list and one that is up to date and within budget and OC’able. Should Play GW2 really well even in WvW if OC’d.

Case: Coolermaster HAF 912
CPU: Intel 3570k or 2550K + Collermaster Evo 212 Cooler
GPU: 550ti/650ti/7850
PSU: Corsair 550W
HDD: Re-use ur old Sata ones or get a cheap 500gb/1TB 7200RPM drive (Seagate,Western Digital, Patriot, Kingston ..all good makes)
RAM: G.Skill,Mushkin, Corsair – 8 or 16gb 1600mhz CL9
Mobo: Any Asus or Gigaybyte LGA 1155 board.

Should come to around $650-700

Note Intel are discontinueing the Sandybridge Gen 2 LGA1155 CPU’s at the end of march.
That includes the 2500k,2550k,2600k,2700k CPU’s. but not the LGA 2011 varients.

SolarNova.1052

1st of ..is it Lag ur getting ..or low FPS ? (Lag is a term used to describe high ping, latncy issues: Shown by a delay from ur controls to the ame responding)

From ur rig i suspect ur getitng low fps.

Unfortunatly ur rig is prebuilt and really not meant for gaming.
You will bassicaly have to build a new one becouse any upgrade will requir other parts.

A new CPU will help the most. A Intel i5 3570k is designed for gaming and OC’ing both of which r neccesery for GW2.

That CPU will need a new motherboard. A Asus or Gigabyte LGA 1155 board for around $100/£100 will do.

To coo lthe CPU u would need a good cooler. Like the Coolermaster 212 Evo.

You will need DDR3 RAM to replace ur DDR2 RAM. 8 or 16gb of dual channel 1600mhz RAM will do. G.skill, Mushkin, Corsair , are all good choices.

Graphics card wise u can stay cheap like a Nvidia 550ti or 650ti, or a AMD 7850

You will likely not be able to re-use ur current Case so a new one that is ATX compatable and probably a Mid tower will be a good choice.

Aswell as a good quality PSU like a Corsair 550W

Your current hard drives and optical drives can be re used asuming they are Sata and not IDE.

Hope this helps.

There is no 3540k ..atleats not that i know of.

Do u mean a W3540 ? Thats a Xeon chip and a older 2009 model at that. And from what i can see its more expensive than a 3570k.
I doubt it could handle a proper Large WvW battle without droping below 30 fps. Ofc whether som1 notices the drop without a OSD displaying fps is another thing ..but still the single thread performance of a stock W3540 isnt very strong,(about the same as a Generation 1 i7 which the OP already has), and they dont OC verywell.

SolarNova.1052

Yea thats a generation 1.

You can still try OC’ing to get better performance ..look up on Overclock.net forums for how to do it.

The big jump in performance for Intel was the 2nd generation. They have much stronger single thread performance vs Generation1. Gen1 single thread performance was still close to older Core 2 Quads like the QX6850. The main advanatge to the newer Gen1 ’i’s though was the introduciton of hyperthreading which increased their multi thread performance over the older Core 2 Quads.
But single thread performance is what matter most for gaming.

Stumped by Dungeons

SolarNova.1052

OP.

GW2 dungeons are made hard simply by the fact that monsters/bosses have loads of HP and High attack. The actual tactics are trival in most cases. I remember doing my 1st few and ended up totaly overthinking the situation when the thing to do ended up being VERY simple.
Most bosses u just burn down or kite. Some, like the one u mention, have 1 simple mechanic to use.like the fan. Overall the mechanics and tactics involved are nothing compared to more conventional MMO’s like the one u mentioned.

IMO this is a downside to GW2, but thats just my opinion plenty of peopel disagree which is fine. I put up wiht it though and still play GW2 for the time being untill somthing better comes along.

My best advice is to decide early on whether a MMO is going to be for u for the long term of just a stop gap ..i knew coming to GW2 that is was goign to be a stop gap, as imo its to simplified for my tastes.
Once you know that u can ether go into it relaxed and just take thigns as they come, or research each dungeon/encounter beofre u reach them so u know in advance how to tackle it.
Remember the only thing ur aiming for at the end of a GW2 dungeon is the tokens, which u then use to purchase lvl 80 exotics. Those exotics wont have any better stats than those u can buy or find elsewhere but they do have unique skins. GW2 armor and weapon farming is all about skins at end game..even legendarys.. becouse the stat amounts dont change.

If ur running a Generation 1 ‘i’ CPU then yes its worth it.

If ur running a Generation 2, just OC it. Same for generation 3.

Intel gen2 & 3 i5 and i7 ‘K’ processors can run GW2 without droping below 30 fps even in the most heavy WvW battles ..that is ..if they r OC’d to around the 4.5ghz area…asuming ur GPU keeps up ofc. Average WvW FPS would be around 45 in most casses, and Normal LA 60.

You will likely still get FPS drops for a second or 2 for the 1st time loading an area, but thats to be expected whilst it renders. You can help reduce the impact of this drop by using a SSD to speed up access times, and ofc also havng a fast cpu and gpu.

Agony and FOTM new leveling system

Anet are adding a LFG tool anyway so group finding will get ALOT easier.

The current system where there is no global chat or any form of LFG tool is ridiculous and i honestly cant fathom how Anet did not see the issues it has caused.

You got people on high popuation servers thinking the server is dead becouse there is no way of gauging how many players r around. Usualy u go by how active the global chat chanel is ..or how many groups u see being made in a LFG tool. among other things.

ATM u can sit in LA for an hour and see how active things are there, but agian thats only a small portion of the possible server population, and its still a PITA to find groups for things. Not to mention without a global chat channel social interaction is really limited. You have to bassicaly join the bigsest guild on the server to get any active convo’s going.
Granted the downside to global chat is the inevitable Spam from gold sellers, and guild recruiters, and the always present halfwits who find it fun…but still ..its worth having.

Meta the ‘main’ reason he is droping performance in populated area’s is nothing to do wiht his GPU, its CPU bottlenecking. HIs GPU may not be great, but u would be surrpised what old GPU’s can run GW on its lowets settings.

Get this thread moved to tech support forum, or repost there.

There are those including myself who help out alot there so if u want more opinions go there.

For now though here is my recommendation.

Build a new rig.
Any upgrade to increase GW2 performance in the area’s u mentioned would pritty much requir a new rig anyway, as said upgrade would requir a new CPU* ..which then needs a new motherboard .which means new RAM ,,etc.

Asuming ur HDD’ and Optical Drives are Sata, you can build urself a new rig capable of playing GW2 to the best that is currently possible for around $600-$700 in the US and aroudn that same figure in £’s in the UK.

*The CPU is in fact the most important part of the PC for GW2 performance, u can find more info on this in the tech forum if u so wish.

The fps ur getting is normal for GW2, the minimum requirments as stated above do NOT mean the game will be fully playable by normal standards, i.e 30fps average.
Recommended specs how ever do mean ‘playable’ however Gw2 has no recommended specs becoue they would adversly affect GW2 sales due to how high the spec’s would be, not to mention they are not allowed to recommened OverClocks, which are required to keep above 30 fps in ALL cituations.

How is "end game" content in GW2?

in Players Helping Players

I do fractals daily, (aswellas other dungeons, and WvW), they are just another 5 man dungeon and are only hard for the same reason other dungeons in the game ‘can’ be hard. OP damage and HP on the mobs. Not all bosess have required tactics, those that do are very simple.

Gw2 has its own ‘type’ of endgame, but in a general term GW2 doesnt have endgame as most people know it. hence my comments.

The endgame Gw2 does have ..gets old fast, since ur just repeating the same old dungeons, even fractals only gets harder becouse of the increased dmg.

Well depending on ur CPU, u can manag great FPS in Pve and normal LA. WvW will still drop below 60 though.
So asuming u have a good OC’d intel cpu i sugest for a GPU u get one of the following..

660ti, 670,680
7870 Tahiti LE, 7950, 7970.

Asuming u keep sampling on native, all those will be fine. If u want SuperSampling (which is inefficient thus causes big performance hits, but looks good)u will likely need the higher up versions.

Note: Reflections on All is kinda bugged. Gw2 renders reflections even when they cant be seen, causing MASSIVE performance hits. nearly every1 plays with relfections ether off or on terrain and sky.

Bassicaly there is no endgame content.

The content available at max level does not differ from that available at lvl 30.

This is one of the bad points of GW2 imo.

So if ur expecting raids or some such ..there isnt any.
If ur expecting a grind for the ’best ’ gear ..there isnt any, since all lvl 80 exotic gear has the same level stats.

The only thing that differs is the skins, thats bassicaly what ur after when building a legendary. And to build a legendary u dont really need oot do anything hard or challenging ..u just gotta be rich. You bassicaly buy a legendery.

NP.

My personal recommendation is to get a Intel i5 3570k CPU. pair with a Coolermaster evo 212 cooler, a $100 Asus or Gigabyte motherboard, and OC it to as close to 4.5ghz as can heat wise.

Rest of the rig u can decide on ur own bassicaly.. But that CPU is relativly cheap (for a OC’able Intel CPU) and can run GW2 great when OC’d.

You WvW issue would happen no matter what laptop u have tbh, but even more so if u have that CPU since its a Generation 1 ‘i’ series intel and only has a turbo of just under 3ghz. Theres not much u can do tbh.

Set GW2 priority to High in the task manager, disable windows Aero, set game setting to low. Your bassicaly bottlenecked by the CPU

Even a top of the line Desktop computer has to OC the CPU to around 4.5ghz to keep WvW above 30 fps, no laptop can manage that, and the older and slower the laptop CPu the lower ur FPS will drop in WvW.

Low FPS with a good PC

I just finished trying the 7xxx series GPUs and I was getting over 30 fps at 1920×1080, with all setting maxed, without any dips (but this was in a sparsely populated PvE zone and Rata Sum). That’s with a FX 8150 CPU too. So, don’t take the criticism too harshly. A lot of fanboys on both AMD and Intel sides. However, GW2 does only use 3 of your cores (I’m hoping they change this in the future) so having more cores doesn’t do you any good, it’s really down to thread speed (which Intel does best right now).

Oddly enough, when I switched back to 5760 × 1080 (in the same zone), and left the settings maxed, everything ran at nearly the same fps. If I switched from medium settings to higher settings without changing the resolution, I would dip to 19 fps or so. I’ll have to test the consistency of that this weekend.

Some settings affect CPU performance, so swithcing settings from medium to max will have some effect if indeed the CPU is the bottleneck.
If the 7000 series GPU ur using is somthing along the lines of a 7870 or 7950 then 30 fps in a PvE zone is rather low, i suspect ur likely hitting a CPU bottleneck but their are other possibiilities like PCE bottlenecks if ur running on a PCIE x1 instead of a x16.

It really does help to have a GPU & CPU monitoring program running a overlay (OSD) when running GW2 to let u know whether ur experiancing GPU bottlenecks or not. Becouse in PvE ..if ur GPU is not maxing out when u get sub 60 fps ..then its highly likely to be a CPU bottleneck regardless of CPU usuage.

Its all marketing. They aint exactly lieing .. The game will ‘run’, it will run by deffinition.

‘playable’ is not as precise a deffinition. heavy and profressional gamers dont accept anything other than 60 fps or higher as playable in certain genre’s like first person shooters, whilst other genre’s it can be 30fps.
However ‘normal’ gamers, and non professionals will usualy accept 30+ across ‘nearly’ all genre’s. And non gamers, people who just play 1 or 2 genres of game and only a handfull at a time, will put up with below 30 fps.

So settings specification for ‘playability’ is harder than just saying it will ‘run’. And ofc they can get away with saying minimum specs for the game to ‘run’ and profit of poeples ignorance on what it truly means. Not all companies do this ofc, its all just part of the game of marketing i guess.

I cannot reccomend a specific laptop..but i can recommned what specs to look out for. The 2 main thigns r CPU and GPU.

CPU, any of the following.
3840QM
3820QM
3740QM
3720QM
3630QM

GPU wise. Mixture of medium & High settings
570m,660m,670m,680m, 7970m

You should be able to get those spec for $1000..but u will be pushing ur budget big time since trying to get both a good CPU AND a good GPU is only possible at the $1000 and above mark.

The main thing is the CPU, be prepaired though.. even the BEST laptop CPU cannot keep GW2 form falling below 30 fps. BUT getting one of the ones above will atleast keep things bairable in the worst situations of WvW. For PVE you should be fine.

TBH though, unless u have absolutly no other choice ..i would spend that $1000 on building a Desktop, becouse u could easily build one that can play GW2 the best that is currently possible atm.

The GW2 system requirments just mean ’ you can run the game’, not that it will be playable. Thats what reccomended specs are for. . and notice that Anet have no reccomended specs ..becouse they are really high and requir OC’s ..which ofc they cannot recommend people do for obviose reasons.

The reason for ur performance monitor not showing 100% is explained here.
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/tech/FAQ-Frequently-Asked-Questions-Compilation/first#post1095383

Bassicaly Your CPU is split into core’s and threads, when all are used up .u have 100% usuage, BUT if 1 of those cores/threads maxes out when processing one of GW2’s 50 odd threads, that causes all other GW2 threads/processes to slow down to match it.
The main GW2 thread is very intensive, once that maxes out(meaning ur CPU is procesisng it as fast as it can) all other GW2 process cannot be run any faster than that parent thread.
This means you get a FPS drop, and also means u wont see 100% usuage on the CPU becouse not all the cpu’s threads are being maxed out,, only that 1 is, the rest are running a what ever usuage it needs to run the other Gw2 processes that have been slowed down.

AMD cpu’s have slower single thread processing power, which is why they r not the best choice for gaming in these intensive CPU situations, however most games are not as intensive as GW2 is on the CPU ..so u generaly dont see it untill extreme situations. GW2 on the other hand is intensive throughout, so when things really get busy like in WvW ..CPU’s single thread performance gets tested hard. This is why even with a top of the line Intel CPU .. u need to OC them just to keep FPS above 30 in WvW.

http://www.cpubenchmark.net/singleThread.html

This is a list of the single thread performance of all current CPU’s . Note they are all on stock and none of them at stock can keep WvW in GW2 from droping below 30 in heavy situations. So those CPU’s way down the list are even more at a disadvantage.

Since GW2 is so intensive on the CPU , so long as u have a good OC on a 2nd/3rd gen intel i5 or i7 u dont actually needa very good GPU, however alot of people are having performance issues when using the laest series of graphics cards, hence why u may see now and then people complaining about bad performance even with high end rigs, its usualy drivers issues or settings ingame, nothing to do with their CPU.
In ur case i think its the CPU, since graphics settings r doing little to imporve ur fps, and the fact it gets so bad in WvW.

BTW my rig aint all that atm, the graphics card is old .. and my CPU is no better than a 3570k/2500k with OC in ‘most’ games. I built my rig for more than just gaming ..hence the expensive CPU

I got some questions regarding the latest news about months ahead.

When are we getting a proper LFG tool? and what type will it be?
I know this was mentioned in the news but i was kinda hoping for a bit more specific info…
Im not talking about an Auto Dungeon finder like those found in ‘other’ western MMO’s (since they ruin social interactions). I just mean a tool/window that u can post a start up group for people to search for and join that is server wide, an example that comes immediatly to mind is Tera’s original LFG tool, similar to Aion’s original one iirc.

Will the tweek/changes to bosses in dungeons and open world be such that tactics matter more than how hard the boss hits or how much hp it has to make said boss ‘hard’ ?
By that i mean, atm a bunch of bosses are arguably ‘hard’ simply becouse they hit like trucks, have unavoidable mechanics, and/or have tons of HP. I think we would all prefer bosses that end up being just as hard, or harder in fact, due to proper mechanics that requir tactics instead of spam reviving after being 1shot, burning boss down as quik as possible, and/or using unintended tactics like geting some other npc to fight it whilst every1 sits and watches. etc etc

You mention loot; will bosses, veterans, champions, actually have worthwhile loot that drops always instead of a small increased chance ?
ATM its still not worth taking down champions since they dont drop anything worth while. Veterans are no better than normals ether.

Will you ever be increasing the number of skills that each weapon/weapon type has to choose between ? as currently there is next to no customizaion
Currently main hand has 3, off hand 2, 2hand 5. meaning if u see som1 as X class with Y 2hander, u know exactly what primary skills they have, and will likely also know what secondary/utility skills they have also.

U wont get constant 60 fps in Gw2, becouse the CPU will bottleneck.. even one as good as the 3770k.

next thing im going to say is . .OC

OC’ing if done correctly will NOT reduce the lifespan of the CPU siginificantly , atleast not enough for u to worry about. CPU’s last many many many years at stock ..ages ..way longer than u will ever keep using it.. and only OC’ing to the extreme would reduce its lifespan enough to be noticed ..Normal OC will reduce life span slightly .v.ery slightly…but no where near low enough for u to worry about… u would replace it long b4 it goes pop.
Also the Intel K series chips are designed to be OCed, if ur not going to OC ..dont spend the extra money to get a K series.

Finaly ..GW2 cannot stay above 30 fps in WvW without a OC .. u need around 4.5ghz OC on the Intel CPU’s (2nd 3rd gen i5,i7’s) to keep heavy WvW battles above 30 fps.

Note 30 fps is the absolute lowest frame rate ..so u could see on average 45 fps in big battles ..but every now and then u will see dips.. with said OC that dip will NEVER go below 30.

A Single 670 will be fine for GW2. Ifu got the money for 2x 670’s then i would just get a single 680 (dont get a 690).

If it doesnt come up on a ScreenShot, then its likely Monitor ghosting, but that also shows in other games with simalarly dark on dark images.

However it could be bugged Ambient Occlusion. Do u use Nvidia Inspector ? The added darkness to give depth can somtimes move with the camera if its not native to the game as the softare isnt detecting the correct movements so leaves these ‘patterns’ conected to the camera movement whilst the image its enhaving is moving. Looks very much like the effect ur describing however wihtout a ScreenShot, its hard to tell.

Disiable any Ambient Occlusion settings u may have active in Nvidia control panel and nvidia Inspector.

Low FPS with a good PC

Firstly im affraid OP that ur PC isnt ‘good’ ..not for GW atleast.

However things u can try.
Turn reflections down to terrain and sky. Turn shadows down to High ..Turn Sampling to native.
You got 8gb RAM ..make sure ur using a 64bit OS.
Set GW2 priority in task manager to High.
OC your CPU, GW2 gets most its performance from the CPU’s single thread performance. Thus AMD cpu;s (even their best) ,specialy at stock, dont fair well in WvW and other populated areas.
A slow HDD can also cause issues, if u have 2 HDD’s the same RPM and size ..try using them in RAID0 format to boost the speed, defrag it if u havnt done so in a while. If u have a SSD, put GW2 on that.
Update or Downgrade ur current graphics drivers to see if that helps. If its factory OC’d ..try downclocking it just incase its a unstable OC.
