Funniest thing I ever heard. Haven’t you ever heard of travelling to the Heart of the Mists?
Its the easyest thing you can do.
A huge part of the Mists was because of this. Sure you still have to tp a bit but it saves a lot using the Mists

If you want to do medium damage, lose staff IMHO.

I found a build of my own after implementing some stuff the guy in the first comment said, staff does amazing, specially in pvp considering its a staff, it just takes skill :P

Completely agree with your. I believe instead of a new mail system there cna be an option to either send to a selected person, whole guild or you get to choose from your whole friend list. This system we are talking about can be implemented in not just the guild system, but maybe someway into the WvW system?

I personally have not had this problem before but I am sure that some people have. It might be because of your particular server or something so it is worth to ask your guildies or some friends that are on the same server.
Try and re-post this in a couple of days and hopefully it will catch somebody’s eye.
(P.S: Do you have the receipt of your purchase? I believe it can help you get your money back. Altough you did buy gems and not the item automatically so it may take some convincing to get Arena Net to agree for a refund

I agree with you. Its not that much of a problem really, especially for lvl 80 players. Yes, they die a lot and all that but they had lots of time to earn money even if it is not fair. It just does not make sense to nerf it at this time of guild wars 2. Players are quiet used to it frankly

This is one suggestion I believe could be quite a nice addition to the game. This system unlike the sPVP one would use your normal gear for PVE. This duel system I believe should only be present in major cites because the scaling system may cause difficulties in making a fair match.
This would especially make a good thing because things like guild leadership could be resolved in one of these battles among two candidates.

It’s probably just a bug for that particular event. I think this because I am a healer whenever I go to kill major bosses but of course like you said I do jump in and do as much damage as I can (which is usually conditions and stuff) but i always get the chest at the end. Consider moving this to the bugs section

One of the game designer mentioned in an article that most of the changes in this expansions will be to the WvWvW system. I am guessing this is because this is one of the end game things to do that are really popular and have tons of space to improve on.
I suggest we all go to the WvW forums and start posting some ideas for these guys

I went Metrica Province, Caledeon Forest, Brisban Wildlands, area to the right of Caledeon, and then I went traveled to Charr starting zone in order to try out the level 30 dungeon using asura gates

As the title says i need a good build for a guy with medium damage and a good defensive attributes (vitality, toughness…)
I am using a staff by the way

So after an elementalist is downed they have the option of doing the spell called mist form (i think ). This spell basiclly turns you into mist and you can move invincible for about 3 seconds. But in WvW after I am downed once, use mist form and rally everything is okay, but after I am downed after that (within the next about 10 minutes) and use mist form if anyone attacks me when i exit mist form I am dead. Even if nobody attacks me you fall to the ground and all the HP just goes away. This bug is not just with me since i checked with a couple of my guildies. This bug has been there for a while but I thought somebody would report it by now and A-Net would fix it but since nobody reported it here I am. I am also playing on Blacktide (EU) if this means anything to you

Im just looking at this forum and thinking why would you post about leaving a class because its too hard. The first character i ever made was an Elementalist and I admit it is hard, but doesn’t that make playing even more fun. Everybody is complaining about bad end game content, well this is the end game content for me. Its not that I like being challanged all the time, I admit it is hard and there is a lot to be learned about MMO’s and GW2 to be able to play it.

So as you know in the musical playing thing each song is an event s i was wondering do you get normal influence for these events as you would with normal events

Are you sure you set the card up properly?

Probably going to get fixed soon but it may just be because of the zone you were in, you should probably write that next time you make a bug post.

As you noticed every class has 1 skill underwater which still makes the underwater fight balanced its just the matter of how you use your skills but yes having 2 would make it a lot easier. Leaving it in the suggestions is probably a good idea.

Ill have to say as well that staff wasn’t failing me in sPVP against players but I realized that it takes a lot of knowledge on enemy skills, and skill combination to counter it and also plenty of prediction for example for a Mesmer its good to use lightning because of chain attacks eg..

Staff healing is probablly better for WvW in my oppinion and experience but D/D combination may be a bit hard to get used to after all of the usage of staff you had because of the range but I guess what I am trying to say is that its what you prefer more.

As the title says, is the staff good for sPVP if it is used correctly? Or should i switch to scepter focus/scepter dagger combination

So recently i’ve been playing WvWvW and for some reason while attacking a keep i switched to my Ice Bow and tried to do like that rain of frost arrows on a keep door and I aimed it perfectly but it kept saying corrupted but since it is an air AoE can it be corrupted? Is this a bug or just my lack of knowledge about Elementalists.

So recently i’ve found out that dungeons are way more useful than i thought so I started running them but it takes ages to find a group and after an hour of typing lfg it gets quite annoying and my guild isn’t much for pve so I’ve been looking for a strictly pve guild on Blacktide(EU) server. I know there isn’t many of these guilds anywhere but i thought it would be worth a shot to put a post here.

I guess you will just have to wait for a dungeon to come explaining that or make an asura and something will probably be there in the personal story

Ill have to say something against this whole thing.
Chat is mainly used in either partys or guilds that are friendly so normally if you were just running through a zone normally nobody has a need to say something unless you want to talk to them. After 3 lines you are good to party up so what you mean is the public chat is not too lively where as my guild chat for example is really lively.

As you know the new ascended gear is out and for some reason I want to name a piece of gear TITAN gearname. Not just because it sounds freaking amazing but because Titans are something that is supposed to be almighty so it sort of matches. Just a suggestion

Well, there are always people making new characters.. and it’s easy going when you can spend 20-30g to level your char from 0-80 in a matter of hours, so I’m guessing they’ll always be in some kind of a demand. =)

So if I am correct pvp gear is not stackable in PvP lockers. If I am wrong just stop reading this and tell me in the reply section. But incase I am right this has got to change. I have got so much pvp gear that I don’t need at the moment because I am a low level. And deleting gear is also something I don’t quite want to do so I think the kicucal solution to this Is to make this gear stackable in PvP lockers. Of course it isn’t stackable in your bag which could be done by choosing a number of items you want to withdraw of the same kind when taking it out.

So I’ve been playing GW2 for a short time and most of my current money comes from ore and stuff like that. But I’ve recently been thinking about that and realised that the market may crash for these things because later in the game everybody Is already going to have all the stuff for crafting they need so I wont earn money. Is my theory true?
Also I know even if its not true its not a good income so what other things make a good income?

So I am currently level 35 (I’m getting better ) and this means I can enter the story mode and explorable mode in Ascalonian Catacombs. I finished the story mode and got some good masterwork gear but that’s not really the point of this topic. After I finished story mode I started wondering does explorable mode give you better gear in dungeons or does story mode give you better because of chests. Also can you repeat story mode?
