No they didn’t misjudge. They scouted and saw IRON and SoRs other EU guilds out there playing during their primetime. But as soon as ZDs showed up, those SoR guilds ran away.

All in all… even tho we beat SoR pretty convincingly, having a server like SoR fall like this (mentally) is NOT good for T1 matches. Nobody wants that….not BG..not JQ. We want good matches not bad ones.

Hope they get back on their feet and atleast put a good fight with JQ.

SoR isn’t falling (even mentally), just that when you know your stuffs will be capped whenever you log (in my case, ZDs right after SEA), it is hardly worth the effort of upgrading/sieging simply because we don’t have enough people to fight against them.

Look at yesterday: our SEA took the entire BG BL and Maguuma BL, and BG SEA weren’t coming out to fight. So we decided to log off a little bit early, then boom – BG takes all without resistance.

You decide to log off early yourselves leaving your stuff undefended and then you were surprised BG took it back?

And you say BG weren’t coming out to fight? So you were PvDoor’ing then? You expect yourself to PvD but when someone else does it, they are the worst of the worst WvW players, amirite?

For those who have been active recently in the thread, I can sympathize with how annoying the issue is at first, and so I also understand why there is a general lack of patience when it comes to the resolution.

With that said, if by some misfortune the fix doesn’t end up working for us, please try to adhere to their request for a 24hr reprieve before we all tell them so. This is the home stretch, most likely, and in the realm of giant dataservers things can take time to propagate through. If you don’t have chat fixed 3 hrs after the maintenance is through [approx 10 hrs from now, not 24], don’t necessarily assume it’s the end. Just be patient and wait the full 24 hr, and then take action.

I also told them we had no intention of stacking SoR and that they may not want to come at all. SoR’s service provider must be so happy with them. Everytime their service fails from the provider’s end, they just blame BG for it.

JQs TS is run by the same guy, on the same network lol. So on Friday nights when both of their TS servers are flooded, they all get congested and unstable. They then run immediately here and and blame BG for it lol.

Well I for one will be glad to see Maguuma up here. They actually have decent players and good roamers. So all of the roamers on BG will have some good fights.

SoR was purposely teaming up with SBI in attempt to tank SoS from gold league.

Yup, you had SoR commanders on SBIs teamspeak commanding them and coordinating the 2v1.

Is it possible for a dev to comment on the progress of fixing this? It is a pretty serious issue that seems to be effecting more and more players. Thanks for your efforts to fix it!

Perhaps…maybe…the problem is that JQ BG and SoR are so stacked that they just assume they will win over the number four ranked server TC?
