I see your point, but sadly if you’re farming people will try to be as efficient as possible.

Have you joined a big guild, this helps in to going for dungeons and just fight everything normally.
However, I am personally not that experienced with dungeons but if we go in with 5 news, we just get wiped and it is no fun at all. We always need someone who knows what to do. Yesterday we tried Arah and we got our kitten handed to us, we spend 40 minutes on the first boss and we just gave up.

I am now going for a set of armor from the dungeons which i am now getting good at running, i find myself joining experienced groups and just run through it.

And the cycle goes on…

Started with the condition with staff with MrPrometheus his videos and could kite champions on my own it was really fun. Then after a few months i came back and the build suddenly performed bad (To this day i cannot figure out why). So i went to the standard lazy Kai build and just use it for PvE sometimes. Mostly play berserker ranger now.

I’m not really a finance person, but over a 2 year period it seems Jan 2013 was their lowest? With there being a 25% increase from that time to now?

Yes, for long term investment, its not bad. The decrease just means that some investors feel less certain about the future. Or saw the news and wanted to cash out. Nothing to be worried about.

Simple question on Sigils......

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Stasticeel.2745

You can now put two sigils on two handed weapons.
Most sigils can work in co-existance except for a few exeptions.

The ones that stack. Like bloodlust for example. You can have only one of those. Putting a stacking sigil on one hand and swap to the other hand with a different stacking sigil doesn’t work either as far as I know (Correct me on this)

AND you cannot use two ofthe same sigils in the same or different tiers. For example a 7% damage and a 4% damage does not give you 11% but 7% if i am correct.

What you can do is put a sigil of force on a sword, and have a sigil that gives you a 60% chance of might on a crit on a warhorn. You will receive both the damage and a chance on the might if you crit with your sword.

Putting a sigil that give an AoE Flame and an sigil of Air which can give a lightning strike on one two-handed weapon does also work, you might even get both effects on the same hit.

I am sure about everything except for the stacking sigils on weapon swap.

Hope I helped.

:’( Diversification means expanding your product line in new products instead of updating on your current products. Which seems logical, but if this is there main focus it means cash out and move on.

Best Rune for condition mesmer.

xD I see, the 20% increased time in bleeds would be nice it is also very cheap. Wonder if this would increase the ability to stack more bleeds.

But would Rune of the Undead give more damage since it would give convert toughness to condition damage.

Hey, I am currently getting my gear for lvl 80.

I am basicly using this build from MrPrometheus his video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T-B3mkM7dqM

The build is basicly:
Domination trait: V & I
Chaos trait: V, IV, & X
Illusions trait: i and VII.

Minor tweaks but basicly the same. I will get Carrrion exotic gear, then basic Exotic Ruby jewelry i think. The Staff has both the Sigil which increases 7% condition damage and the other one gives stacks of condition damage everytime i kill an enemy.

My question is what Runes to put on my set. Would Rune of strength be the best to get high basic damage for my phantasms and shattering. Or Are the better runes for condition based builds. As the feature pack says the rune sets are now for particular builds.

I would love to hear your feedback.

Kind regards,

Stastic.

Which Sigils to use.

Hello everyone,

I am kind off unsure on which sigils i should use on my weapon(s).

My ranger is full berzerker set normal exotics, (no ascended, legendary etc…)

With Scholar runes, berserker trinkets with ruby upgrades.

I run an 20 (I, VII) / 25 (I, V) / 0 / 25 (IV, X) / 0 Build.

Mainly for pve, and use Sword Horn / SB or LB weapon. All Berserker stats.

For the sword i use a Sigil of Precision, the horn i use sigil of force.
Then on the short bow i got Sigil of Generosity and on the Longbow at the moment Sigil of Fire.

I just swapped out the LB just to play with it and wow was i surprised, really nice. I am wondering though which sigil I need to put on my LB, i put the flame on it because i mainly just use it for #5 and #2 (Combined with Quickening Zephyr) so i thought this would be nice extra damage boost. But I am not sure if any other option is better, also on the warhorn the sigil of force, might there be a better option for that? How does the sigil on off hands work exactly?

This is mainly for PvE and maybe later on dungeons/fractals if i try to figure that out, maybe some WvW when bored.

Thank you for the attention.

Advice For a New Ranger

Regards to Brazil, works like a charm in PvE for me, you have to be moving though and use your skills to dodge to not get downed, but when stacking all your skills you’ll be rampaging.

With this build I always have atleast 65% crit and at best 93%. Don’t know if you can have higher then that.
Only change i did was getting a 5% damage sigil on horn and a generosity on my short bow, to use as a condition remover for myself.

Other build i used for a little bit is this one, allthough i don’t know if it still works after the patch, but the pet damage was awsome. Again i only pve, for dungeons this build is not that good since your pet stays squishy. I send in my pets to other monsters while i just went to other monsters to smash them.

PvE off course is easy. You can find this build over here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LdsmOmMwXCo

Both builds has great damage from the pets, don’t ignore them. They are amazing.

Thank you for your feedback. The message i get is that the biggest survival problem is in sPvP, this part is the least interesting to me, as i focus on pve, wvwvw zerg maybe some roaming with a few people. So the latest may give me some problem if i do not pay attention.

I played some mesmer in pve, they are in the same boat i guess? They can handle themselves but it is hard work?

Anyway, i don’t mind active dodging and playing around with my skills kiting, etc… Way more fun then just standing and press 1.

Also, are there any traits i should go for in my early levels as i will just be doing personal story and map completion in pve? Or point me to a guide, if it aint to much trouble.

Cheers~

Hey,

I decided to reroll from my ranger and focus on a new class for a while. I am looking at either guardian or warrior.

Played Guardian once and allthough its heals and support is nice, the weapons felt slow, the chain attacks of the hammer and greatsword where it waits before it smashes on the ground.

I think I prefer warrior more for being more smooth. But how are they in tanking in both pve, and going into wvw zergs? I know both the guardian and warriors are proper classes for dungeons, but will I die all the time because i would be a glass cannon. Or can i do decent damage while able to take some hits?

Basicly i am worried I would not be able to stand on my own.

Many thanks in advance.

How about some sort of item, that enables you to transfer an item to account bound for 1 transfer to a new character.

But give it extremely high costs or concequences, like you have to delete the char you want to get the item from or something. Just something to transfer those rare items you have obtained. I am not talking about all the money, laurels, karma etc… But event items like this events dragon wings or something.

Thank you for the quick reply.

I think my first set will be SB/GS, and have the weapons and sets on Power, Precision and Condition damage.

So I only need to focus on the base stats and then i can change the upgrades as i see fit. My best bet for armour would be the Divinity Counsil set from the Seraph? Is this the only way to obtain exotic armour? Because then i need to do the causedus manor dungeon right?

Same goes for the weapon found one for two gold with those three base stats.

How do you change the look of an armor/weapon lvl 80 as a transmute stone will not work?

Good day, thank you for reading my post.

I have bought the game at launch but never really gotten into it, until now.
Today i reached lvl 73 and never really looked into builds, upgrades, armor and weapons.
I probably wasted a lot of money on just random weapons and upgrading my armor to my level, but to my questions.
Wearing the pirate custome for like 30+ levels or so and i am starting to get sick of it.
On lvl 80 where do i see all the different sets of armor, and would i need to buy a complete set to enjoy the stats, are there many differences and where can i check them out?

The weapons, as a ranger i will probably look at a greatsword, short bow, longbow and later on a sword and a torch.
Looking in the TP i see legendary and exotics, but they all have a atk rate of 995-1000, is this the max? Yet some weapons are 50G+ and some are 1G. Why? Just for the skin? Some have different upgrades on them but you can switch them yourself right? So where do i need to look at for these weapons to decide?
I probably would like to concetrate on Power, precision and a bit of toughness. Considering all armors and weapons have same defence and attack, can i just look at the runes and/or sigils and buy those to switch around to accomedate my build and/or way of playing.

Finally, is it worth it to train crafting, I am currently training leatherworker and am on lvl 170, but it is starting to get expencive. I just buy some ingredients from the TP and combine with what i looted. The crafted items i sell off to the vendors and sometimes on the tp. Ussually I end up with the same money I started, give or take 10 silver.
I hope you can answer some of my questions. My native language is not english so i apoligize if my grammar and sentence building is not that accurate.

Kind regards.

So i am not the only one. I kept dying with my new chars. I thought it was just the lack and number of events in the starter area making me underleveled. But in the last few weeks i started an human, norn and asura, For every character i had to go to the other zones to get my level up before i could continue in the original zone.

Items i should keep or collect?

hey,

I havent really played till recently. And only now i am getting in to the game. Now my question is if i need to collect or save any important items. I am currently lv 36 and all i do is just empty my inventory, teleport the crafting materials to my bank. But i cannon craft anything so just leave it there and just sell the rest.

Any tips for me i should do to make it easier for me.
