There is no realistic metal armor at all that has breast cups or anything like that. Look up statues of Jeane d’Arc. She wears male metal armor! I WANT THAT FOR MY FEMALE WARRIOR! NO BOOBS!

Form fitting armor is a good thing. Look at the Protector’s, Primeval and Ascalonian armor sets. The chest piece is fit to the form, but without “breast pockets.” It actually looks great. That’s how plate armor should be for the comfort of the wearer. If female warriors were more common in that time period, I’m sure we would have seen such innovation in the armor designs.

You’ll hear people saying Ranger is the worst profession in the game.
The reasons are (including but not limited to) Ranger is the 2nd most played profession, and unlike Warrior (most played) you WILL notice a bad Ranger while a Warrior gets away with a lot of stuff and is overall easier to play.

Also, pets, forget about them, NEVER rely on them, they’re slow to catch up to moving targets, won’t get off an AoE and more often than not their special ability won’t trigger and go into full cool down.

Having all that said my favourite profession is Ranger.

If the pet ability doesn’t fire, it’s because you’re spamming the key or the pet gets interrupted. Pressing the key while the animation is in effect will cancel it. Pet abilities won’t begin to fire until it is finished with the current ability or animation. If you’re using a melee pet in a dungeon, NEVER keep them in melee constantly. Send them in to use their ability, then recall them afterwards. It’s user error, not a bug or design flaw. That is why 90% of rangers are terrible.

Rangers excel at skirmishing and condition damage. They have access to every condition in the game with the exception of torment and can apply bleeding on crit. A condition ranger with rampager’s can do more dps than one with flat berserker. If you want a class with excellent medium range aoe that is also capable of holding their own in melee, ranger is a great choice. They are also the best kiting class in the game if you build for it.

Warriors excel at raw physical damage and are arguably the highest damage class in the game. They are also the standard berserker wearers. They are much easier to play than rangers, but aren’t quite as flexible in terms of build diversity. They are capable of being the tankiest class in the game if built for it, and aren’t bad at support roles either.

This. I love my Norn T3 armor, but that butt cape… it’s bad lol.

The Deldrimor mace is pretty bulky, but it’s for HoM rewards only.

So you would rather they release a whole new set of broken legendaries than to fix current ones? That is the kind of attitude that kills games. They demand stuff early, get it early, then complain about it being crappy then quit. No, The current weapons need to be polished before new ones are pushed out.

Two major problems with Kudzu: It’s bow string is just floating there, attached to nothing, and the Barrage skill for rangers doesn’t even work correctly.

Make the bow string dense glittering pollen or something, don’t just slap a normal bow string onto an elaborate piece. Make barrage rain flowers or something. From what i’ve heard, this skill used to be something special, but now it’s reverted back to normal? Come on, before you even start talking about new weapons, fix the current ones.

Totally disgusting. I can understand wanting to create scantily clad females as a form of artistic expression, but making such ridiculous armor in GW2 is going too far. Women aren’t sex objects, they are people with internal organs that need to be protected. Designing your armor in such a way is shameful, I am so disappointed in you Anet.

You can still login, provided you load into the game on a character that isn’t currently in LA, then you can proceed to LA normally. However, any character that logged out in the mists or LA is screwed, at least for me.

People don’t seem to understand the main idea of my post. I’ve received the same treatment playing my thief, mesmer and necro. My ranger was just a specific example.

Do you use sword as your primary weapon? Do have spotter and use frost spirit? Which pet do you use? Do you roll zerker?

None of that matters because i get kicked before even zoning in. It’s about major discrimination against anything but heavy armor classes.

I repeatedly get kicked out of groups for not playing a Guardian or Warrior, and sometimes even receive major hate for maining a ranger. I don’t know what has to be done to change this, but something needs to change. I am getting sick of getting kicked from fractal groups for simply not playing a heavy armor class. Nerf heavies into the ground, buff mediums and lights, add a report option for kick abuse. I don’t care which, just do it so I don’t have to be forced to play 2/8 classes from fear of being kicked otherwise. The foundation of this game is supposed to be about playing what you want how you want, but with the way things are now, that is impossible to do without getting some sort of grief in return.

Patience is limited. Sometimes this crap just makes me want to quit the game for months at a time.

Thanks to this cheap tactic to make this event difficult, a timer is put in place that instantly kills you if you take too long. This naturally forces you to go full berserker or suffer the wrath of the timer.
As a condition ranger, i was on the last opponent on the 6th or 7th challenge, and the floor dropped out from under me with the last opponent at 5% health. You are basically forced down the path of very limited builds to even succeed. So much for being able to play as you want right? Anet, do you even consider these things when you make these events, or are you only catering to the people who run nothing but berserker gear? With my favorite builds, it is literally impossible to complete these events before the timer just flat out kills me. I feel sorry for the people who like playing tanky or support-centric builds.

Yes I am getting this as well. The strange thing is, it happened the instant the loading screen popped up after i chose a waypoint in LA.

Adding another type of content that has never been done before in MMORPG’s? Yes please.

Pretty much what the title says, allow us to place a normal slot skill into the elite skill slot. There aren’t many elite skills, and i often find myself never using my elite because most of them are pretty much useless in most situations, plus the ridiculous cool-downs most of them have. I think this would be a great way to open up the game to more builds without actually adding new skills.

I am running an i7 920 CPU and a Radeon HD 6750 GPU. Most of the time, even in a packed Lions Arch, I get a comfortable 55-60 FPS. Mysteriously, around Anchorage Waypoint in Cursed Shore, my frames drop to an uncomfortable 15 FPS for seemingly no reason at all. (Even when there are no nearby events.) I know the area is straining my GPU because the GPU fan kicks up to full speed while i am in the area.

You need to combine Sunrise and Twilight together to make Eternity if you want the account medal for that weapon.

This part of the ranger frustrates me quite a bit, even though i play it as my main. Pets often use their “automatic” skills at the most inconvenient times. One such example:
I lay down flame trap and the instant the enemy triggers it, my devourer pet uses its knockback ability to knock them back out of the trap. I have encountered similar situations numerous times, and i am getting pretty tired of it.

Give us a more advanced pet bar that allows us to tell the pet when to use abilities, and whether or not we want them to use certain abilities automatically or not. Oh and i would also like to actually see what conditions my pet has on it as well.

Survival skills such as quickening zephyr and lightning reflexes don’t mesh with with the survival trait line at all, while traps don’t mesh with the skirmishing trait line.

Traps should be in the survival trait line and most of the survival abilities except for muddy terrain should be added to the skirmish trait line instead. Why are traps in the trait line for critical hits? Their critical hit damage is negligible, and the conditions on them are wasted in a trait line that has nothing to do with conditions at all.

Abilities need to be moved around and maybe even have new abilities added, because the skirmishing and survival trait lines are a mess.

Only thing i would suggest is setting all your options in the Catalyst Control Center to use application settings only. If anything is being forced it tends to screw things up in GW2.

I usually use pre-paid Visa cards for online transactions, but due to recent circumstances, i am unable to obtain any more pre-paid cards at present. It would be very convenient for me if i could obtain gems through my mobile carrier and pay for them through my phone bill instead which i have set to automatic billing.

I want gems, you want my money. Would it hurt to add this option? lol

WTF is this Anet? The major prestige items are going to be thrown around and manipulated by the richest farmers and gold buyers just like they were in GW1. You are making the same mistake AGAIN. Major prestige items like legendary weapons should always be soul/account bound. I hope people enjoy the inevitable skyrocket of mat prices.

I have seen many of these bots using hacked thief skills to teleport vast distances from node to node. This makes them particularly tricky to report. Many of them are in queensdale and various other areas. Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this, but I wanted to bring it to attention so the right people can see it.

When firing the Seathunder Pistol from an Asura character, the projectiles appear in mid-air above my character instead of from the gun. This didn’t start happening until i transmuted my guns into Seathunder Pistols. Here is a screenshot:

I entered the Iron Citadel asura gate from Lions Arch on my Warrior character “Ambidrex Boltsmith” on Ehmry Bay, and now the iron citadel loading screen loads indefinitely. I can no longer access my character. This seems to have happened just after the new build, i have never encountered something like this before.

Update: After restarting the client and trying to access my character a couple more times, I have loaded into the iron citadel fine, but if others have run into this problem as well, it is a pretty big problem.
