Are you sure that it does not stack with other sources? I know for a fact that it does work with HiS giving you a 9 second regen. Though it could just be that the trait fires before the regen in HiS does.

I like it as an even tradeoff for the Critical Damage in Valkyrie sets. I don’t think I would buy a full set though. I do find it a major pain that you cannot get PVT leggings for karma.

Sword has no way to apply condition damage so maybe a short poison on critical.

Vante, what are your thoughts on Superior Runes of Vampirism? They give a similar invulnerability but have more useful stats.

The only way to convincingly run a lowbie is with a group. Specifically a organized group. My guild ran a 10 man group of Thieves level 2 to 30. It was crazy and we wiped to serious groups but flipping camps and taking on small groups was no problem.

If you just want to level you have a a couple options. Kill Doylaks and Sentries. Flip camps when you are higher level. Or find the nearest commander and stick with him.

Don’t forget that while stealthed you can cast any spells that do not deal direct damage without breaking stealth. Nice for distracting enemies.

I get the feeling that sometimes I am pulled out of stealth by projectiles in the air hitting their target after I cloak. Like with Staff #1 or Pistol #5.

The early levels are harder than other classes. Main because more Power does not directly translate into more damage on a Mesmer. But there is a lot of variety in what you can bring to the table.

For the race decision, if you are looking for synergy in racial abilities all I can tell you that Norn have no synergy.

Midnight Fire, Grass, Hint

My primary armor is from Twilight Arbor which I assume is considered plant based by they dye system. So some dyes respond weirdly. I am still trying to find a blue that looks like it could come from a plant.

Just as a reference point a 2012 11" MacBook Air (1.7GHz, 4GB, Intel 4000) will run GW2 at around 20-25 FPS. It is not enough to play for long stretches, but plenty for a quick fix or trading/crafting.
