I agree some adventures need to be toned down a bit. But not all. Just remember that you don’t need all the gold to max mastery.

I play on an old laptop from New Zealand. You just have to get used to it.

That said, the Wintersday one is bad because it forces you to use the horrible in-combat movement, instead of the OOC one.

In combat speed is barely a problem here because this jumping puzzle design with that in mind. There is no large gap jump that you require to be in normal speed to pass.

In fact . It’s make some section like small pole jump easier.

If you not finish this jumping puzzle before wintersday end. You got banned ?

Mastery is a grind when you want it to end in 1 day.

I was there only for fun. Other activities give better loots.

Stay in one place too long . Doing the same thing over and over will always hurt your brain. Varies your source of xp will help.

Exploring give xp . Meta event give xp. Gathering give xp. Adventure give xp. Hero point champ give daily xp. Killing stuff give xp. If you want more use xp booster,you can buy it with laurel or open wvw daily chest.

Million xp look scary. But it’s not horrible.

This jumping puzzle is fairly easy to learn honestly.

If you stuck in mushroom in spining animation for about 2 second. Yeah, you won’t make gold in time.

I got 300 ping but my local internet good enough sometimes that I don’t have really bad mushroom lag.

When it’s there. I can just grab some easy adventure for daily xp and rare. If some of that became instance. When I came back I might end up on another instance and lose all participation.

Adventure isn’t the main cause that meta event not progress. Not that many people sticking there for an hour like me anyway//kitten fallen mask gold.

I think they just slapped some events that kinda related enough to collection. Not even know the cause of the event spawn. This won’t happen if they tested it enough.

A smattering of XP, and lame loot drops: blue, green, and rare.

That my main source of xp. About 50k xp daily for some place with easy gold . About doing 3 events in the map. When you know how to do them you get 50k xp each and free rare in 3 minutes//excluding hard adventure. Not too bad to visit the one that you’re good with.

If you’re not. welp. Do something else.

That’s make my world completion run less boring..

In the other hand. Kinda discourage me because I’m doing nevermore and gotta join that someday..if they doesn’t fix it.

Gliding, jumping mushrooms are all fun and all but with lag is a different story

You have alternate way to get up there by normally climb up the great tree. That shortcut is really strict on gliding lag.

My idea is. When no more masteries to be train. A repeatable xp bar will show up. You can choose exp track of each exploreable map. If you fill it up . You will get map reward bonus of that map.

Note that I spent like more than what I currently hold on OB shard, t3 cultural weapons, and some of the old stuffs.

There are all sorts of new ways to spend karma, although not a very fast rate. And all the old ways are still valid.

To the OP’s implied question, I doubt there will be every any extremely efficient way to convert karma to gold — in a game where the devs are willing to risk the wrath of the community by removing liquid gold reward from dungeons (to slow inflation), I can’t imagine they’ll make it easier to convert currencies.

I’d say that right now, the most efficient use is to buy Pact Scout Mapping Materials from the relevant NPCs — you can get up to 4 per day (21k karma total) and save them until a map offers a high-priced item as one of the bonus rewards.

I did two events in Cursed Shore and consumed 4, ending up with a charged lode and a giant eye, about 4g today, but more when I did it. That translates to 19s/1,000 karma, which is about as good — for comparison, the crab-grabbin to linen method varies from 10-16s/1000 these days and buying basic sal kits is 11.43s/1,000.

How does one get 4 per day? I thought it was one per account per day? Is it character-based, instead? If so, why only 4?

It’s challenging on it’s own. Punish people by start the instance all over again, fight same wave of centaurs, hear the same voice again and again because you tripped on some sandpool that earth ele created//and he can randomly cast sandpool himself too.

Agreed, my top right is full with spirit vale ads, PvPleague thingy, esport when it’s up. Daily ,personal story. Meta event description, sometime I can’t even see my actual in game event because this waste of space.

People seem to get drive away and completely ignore meta just because the reward is complete balls and really a waste of time.

Now that reward has been buff..people likely to participate more.

I feel like garent is a better version of TT.

-Closer to WP so if you defeated you will come back to fight in no time.

-Mechanic wise is more simple and less trouble than TT. // I heard that Nuhoch lane is fixed..less trouble now I think.

-Each lane is pretty close together. When one lane finished garent early they can spend
some DPS people to help the lane that having trouble //assume that thay have good DPS and not just there to upscale event.

Other one is complete pug run after the reward buff patch. We have really good Nuhoch commander that spend every minute tell the squad about the fight( half of the squad do Nuhoch for the first time btw). Point where the nodules spawn, how to get there etc etc.

End up killing it in phase 3. It’s really nice experience to have. ( Unfortunately , SCAR failed…but I got egg . Something to work on! .)

Maybe it will have more and more successful run in the future. I think it’s ok as it is.

I mean pul base damage is pretty close to vault. If it can crit it can be like undodgeable vault//assume that you get hit by a thing that cause it.
