Toolkit wrench auto attack actually hits quite hard, too. Pop elixir u first and it’s pretty amazing how fast they drop. That’s for direct damage builds, of course.

I just don’t like the fact that last hit took too long to drop and hit only 1 target.

If it have 1 sec evade like underwater tookit I would use it more often.

I keep seeing flame thrower camping engineers everywhere in pugs from fotm to dungeons. They all seem very confident in their knowledge about zerker meta, yet when asked if FT camping is good DPS, their answers have been randomly such as “I need stability”, “I need might”, etc. I find them worse when they spam all of their CC off cool down and messed up boss’ position or defiant stacks.

It acts in that manner when you use nontargeting tool belt skills. Targeting ones should go right to the target with SD as well.

I try to use Static Discharge and it doesn’t shoot to the target.

It’s always shoot off to the direction my character facing and most of the time it shoot to the ground.

Well.. if you get used to the character jumping and position it will be fine.

One day I joined some casual TA run. 1 guy join in and say we should gearcheck..( err.. no zerk require here if I read LFG right ) . We ran past to the first boss but he tripped and die at the nightmare hounds. He said ‘you shouldn’t just skip past like that’ and start trying to vote kick level 68 who started the LFG. Not respawn.

Engineer have perma swiftness from “steamlined kit” in Tools specialization

that give 24s swiftness in 20s icd.

Focus 4 won’t give swiftnees if you already have it for a long time.

I totally understand the OP’s frustration with the camera, and as others have said, that’s why I have more asura than any other race. I mostly like jumping puzzles with 3 big exceptions: Mad King’s Clock Tower, Winter Wonderland, and Not So Secret. Those were designed for complete masochists.

I use those to farm event bags and blade shards…. I’m masochrist ?

I love platforming game and jumping in this game feel real nice.. some camera issue aside… I love most of the JPs in this game.

Only few places that kitten me off though

The worst is troll end in LA .. I want to vomit after jumping across that fricking plank…

And not so secret just because I struck in that hellhole for 6 hours after purchase this game because I play 7 days trial and like the few JPs I did. Nice Welcome…

I personally think it’s a very bad idea to punish a player’s dps if they enter stealth, especially when you consider that a majority of a thief’s personal dps comes from stealth skills. It would completely go against their play style, which, by the way, is pretty much forced on them because without stealth, their survivability goes to hell.

I would personally make a few tweaks to though. For example, make it so that mesmer phantasms don’t attack when they enter stealth. It feels kinda unfair that rangers and thieves get revealed if they do any damage while in stealth, but mesmers can continue to do damage with phantasms while hiding. Also, maybe remove the ability to stack stealth duration from shadow fields (in other words, if you use a finisher on a shadow field, it only applies the stealth once, and cannot be extended in duration by using more, subsequent finishers on the same field), because sometimes it is too easy for a thief to enter stealth for a long duration without any risks just by using pistol 5 or smoke screen + spamming a leap finisher. In my opinion, long duration stealth is what shadow refuge was made for, and it’s balanced by the fact that you have to remain in the aoe of that skill until it disappears, because if you leave the field early, you get revealed (which gives other players a chance to try and kill you with aoe skills while you are in the aoe).

Smoke field is the one that create stealth

And shadow refuge use stealth stack for long duration stealth.

When we’re talking about a game where you can set dust storms on fire, blind bats and bleed earth elementals, or where you can fall from 3 stories + height and live, I think it becomes clear that realism was not the goal here as far as game mechanics were concerned.

And the game that diving into really shallow water from really frickin high place doesn’t kill you.

I love that…so screw realism.

I understand your feel… I think my first impression is worse.

I joined up before Silverwastes story come(and didn’t know anything about LS). After defeat Zhaitan and PS end

“Dragon Reach’s Part 2” show up in my face and….wait….what….

What is this girl call me boss….and…. I suddenly play PW: Ace Attorney??? WAT ??

Dry top what?? Plant monsters ? and how the hell I get to the next story?
( SERIOUSLY I can’t find the way to Uplands for the first time..the game don’t tell me anything if I start story here//and Dry Top is really painful to explore first time.)

and a lot of WHAT after that.. but in the end I convert some gold to gem and buy the rest to catch up..no big deal for me

And My first Cha skip entire dungeons from AC to Arah..and Destiny edge just become friend again. I suddenly realize I miss an entire story of these people…

But in the end only thing I can’t catch up ( and won’t bother much) is Living World ss1.

I’m mostly pve and people is pretty much nice.
Only time I play pvp is when I do SW reward track for glove and found one of my team trash me to uninstall the game right naw…

But I brought it ._……

Overall though…this commu is the best one I ever join.
