Punch-o-matic :can’t even get silver, skill too laggy to use.. Need some fine tune.

Fallen Mask :Need some tune on the timer due to rng. I clutch the gold after 3 days of trying…Pretty engaging for run and tag game though.

Floor is Lava : Not bother with that since I got silver, not my kind.

Rifle field test : It’s fun enough to master it.. I will said it’s already fine to achived gold. Not feel so rng like fallen mask and it won’t lock you out of adventure when meta happen too. clear 150 marks with 10 second to spare.

I played normal thief in a jungle for a while.

sword /pistol is nice enough to survive //And swipe those raptors.

Got some rooting problem but it’s fine as long as you learn enemy skills.

It’s work..but pretty wonky at 300+ ping. People can stand this because it’s easy to reset and it doesn’t last long and…. pretty fun once you get used to it honestly.

I never think thay can make leap skill to work properly in high ping anyway.
Super jump try to aim it. If green AoE is up mean it can get there. Don’t spam the skill or it won’t get you anywhere.

But….eh..that adventure.

Sorry guys, allow me to disagree with you. I never thought the expansion would make GW2 this good. I was already enjoying the changes while they posted them, but the final game is much better than I anticipated.

I still believe that theory is correct. The reason you haters find each other in the forums is because players who enjoy the game spend most of their time playing it, instead of posting about it.

You can buy hero point from ranking up in WvW I think.

In anet sense. You don’t need to complete spec weapon collection to play anything. Is there a place that if you don’t have Bo . You instantly killed? No right? So you pretty much force yourself to play it!

Well ,in exception of golem punch and shooting gallery adventure. You can get silver from mastery fairly easy when you have enough mastery skill and you learn how
it ’s play.

If you want it, just learn it…it take less than hour//or 30 min // to get it honestly.

I feel you.. It’s a pain without lean tech and having lag. My fix is using experimental rifle jump..

Alternative is waiting for canopy boss to open and glide from higher place.

The simple fact this question is even raised and that xp-boosters exists tells me there’s something fundamentally wrong with the expansion. XP gain was never an issue in old Tyria which was very relieving.

With HoT we got something like ESO Mk2 with their champion-points grind. I’m sad this once so unique game had to copy such things from others…

Core tyria xp is not an issue? Sure. Tome of knowledge is there. Eotm train , crafting stuff. CoF farm still here too.Yeah. Wonder how many people level alts by normally exploring.

For pc game I only play gw2 now until some really nice game release . Mainly because it’s still fun to play. Subjective is because my pc pretty outdated that I can’t interest in any cool looking and shiny game. Waiting for steam sale though.

The adventures are great and there are many other ways to get your mastery points.
Even then, if you can’t get at least silver after a couple of tries, you really should consider stepping up your game.

You not really need lv 161 honestly. I mean itzel and nuhoch last tier is not needed for any collection. (what’s the point of nuhoch last tier anyway.) that’s 24 mastery save.

But if you really need it. I don’t think you need to gold everything and silver is easy enough once you learn to do it. (Except noscope gallery and golem one.)

My recommend tactic is throw your bad mood away and have fun playing it.

I don’t think that’s the problem. Farmer will gather and gone. What should we look into is afk raiders that will eat up the space until they got squad and possibly scale up rally point event at night.

Not really, I use LFG everyday for HoT meta maps.

Ask yourself why you have to use LFG everyday….

Because you need an organized group to complete the meta events.

No. It’s because the maps are empty. Why aren’t there queues to get into the new maps of the first expansion to be issued in 3 years? Why hasn’t Anet needed to create new servers to handle all the traffic from new customers?

Megaserver won’t let you in the populated map most of the time…..unless you LFG :/.

Just had a great Sanctum Scramble run. Fell at the very end. Tried to Reset and do it again. It wouldn’t let me because the main map event have just started.

Just let us play the Adventures if we’re already in them….

I’m not contributing to the map effort anyways when I’m doing these things so they’re counterproductive to the map population the way they are with map limits, etc.

Also – 1:40 is not silver in Fungus Among Us. My wife can attest to the fact that I tried extremely hard to get to 1:40… and didn’t get silver. Because she heard all the nice things I had to say about fungi afterwards.

I got gold in fungus among us. I didn’t get silver mastery reward ._. only daily chest…. bug maybe?

HoT map still new..most people run it because they still have things to do and having fun(yes, have fun). Not a daily chore that you done and gone for that day. And something like event completer here would be a mess.

Maybe when HoT get pretty old they might add one but if that the case. Just made it own HoT daily that not eat core PvE daily space.

I think it’s the same thing as wyvern fight. That too many players make fight longer because of cc scaling and some people not contribute cc when needed.

But it’s harder because his attack is faster and he move while break bar is up.

Absolutely false. Mobs during events do give XP unless it’s during events where there are infinite spawns.

Name me one event that doesn’t have infinite spawns and I’ll bet it doesn’t involve killing more than 1 or 2 mobs. Show me one event that rewards 1/10th the XP of farming trash for the same amount of time.

Almost all verdant brink event mob give xp.

Auric Basin and Tangled depth have event that mob give no exp.. a lot involve around Kill some big structure thing that spawn infinite mobs.

Didn’t do dragon stand much.. so yeah… they exist .

Uh no , not the issue about cc or 1 shot but after break his bar he will disappear forever from the screen of people who don’t have stealth detection. So the rest of the crew have to randomly swing a sword till he die or he successfully do that 1 shot again.

Didn’t kill him for sometimes and I already got stealth detection, might get fix.
But that’s what I call fake difficulty.

Well, Obtena, I never said that doing dungeons was the only way to make gold. So your response is just dumb. That wasn’t the only thing they nerfed. Drop rates have gotten worse for SW and DT, as well. Plus, coin drops from monsters has been diminished. TY, Exciton, I will give it a try. But I haven’t had much luck in drops in that area. Everything I have gotten that was good, has been account bound. I’m just looking for a new way to farm. Especially with the way that everything costs more to make.

Tangled depth event progression reward includes a junk item that sells for 30s.
Dragon stand event chain should give you tons of yellow weapons that sell for 20-40s each.

Also, don’t completely narrow down your scope to gold. There are other forms of reward too. I myself has been working on the elite specialization weapon unlock. It is an ascended weapon with fancy skin.

At one point I got 10 shiny baubles in a row ..Just random raw 3 gold

Don’t know that it’s rng or not to get that. But it nice.

Juggernut Scrapper ( flamethrower) Have really easy time with her from stability.

It’s my reccommend class to play with it.

Tendril Torchers : Pretty fun. easy gold when you know the path.

Bugs in the Branches: Pretty fun. easy gold when you know the path.

Flying Circus: Good enough. easy gold when you get Advanced gliding.

Shooting Gallery : Too many thing in my way but I’m getting hang of it. Might get gold someday.

On Wings of Gold : Fun and Daily xp

Sanctum Scramble: Fun enough. Just hate some tiny platforms and you get in combat speed for a sec after use 2.

Fallen Masks : Getting hang of it..but too RNG for me to get gold.

A Fungus Among Us : Fun in concept but for people with 300 ping movement is kinda weird. Got gold once though.

Tangled Depths:
The Ley-Line Run : FUN~~~~~~~

Drone Race : Easy daily xp after you unlocked poison lore.

Beetle Feast : Once you know mushroom location. It’s pretty nice fun.

Haywire Punch-o-Matic Battle : Last adventure that I can’t get silver. Dash skill for my connection is always weird .

Scrap Rifle Field Test : Use the most kitten bundle item in the game to shoot the heck out of the chaks ? FUN FOR SURE!! and it’s required a fair amount of skill to get gold too. Feel so good after I beat it~~

I was solo defending one of those ordinance tower construction events in VB the other day on my mesmer. Since I was alone, the only mobs attacking were a vet frog thumper and two Coztic shadowleapers. This should have been doable, and it was…sorta. The problem is that when I attacked them I would continually see ’MISS, MISS, MISS, EVADE, EVADE, EVADE" over and over again and I simply could not hit them many times. I kept getting shot up and having to run away to restart the fight again and again until I finally finished the event. This was intensely frustrating and the mechanics felt really cheezy.

This, honestly is absolute BS. It’s just cheap and has zero counter. It’s a simple passive effect you have no control on. It’s like those annoying mobs in Caudecus’ Manor that just NOPE and dont let you kill them.
There’s actually more examples of this. In EotM there’s those trolls with warior’s defiant stance which has no CD, and they can often spam it one after the other. These kinds of mechanics NEED a CD for god’s sake.

I have been trying to get the vampire bat in the canopy of VB for a while on my Revenant. The most I’ve gotten was two, the first time we couldn’t coordinate CCs well enough to defeat the life drain. The second time, two of the players, including me, accidentally fell off the ledge, so that was a bust.

I wish there was a better reason to run these events a second time, so people who already did it would be interested in coming back and doing it again.
