if possible you want a 4+ GHZ cpu chip everything else does not matter.

i am also told to avoid AMD chip <- i never own one so i cant say if this true or not but i had guildie complain about horrible FPS with there amd chips.

Just play whatever you want. if you want to improve at WvW join a WvW guild that actively plays everyday.

tablet combo with demon stance is extramly tanky. but tablet on it own unless you stack about 1000 healing power is not that strong by itself.

what i use is

pug zerging sword / shield with hammer
comp zerging mace shield with hammer.

main reason shield is useful is it very slow traveling you would think is bad but it allow you set up delay heal.

probably because base dur of rev skills are much higher then most class so you do not have to stack duration

I dont know how you define the average or the scenario but assuming 5 targets just the passive AoE heal from an ele healbot will exceed the number you stated from a “good healer” and tbh, I dont consider anyone doing the eqvivalent of watching paint dry in the middle of combat to be a good healer.

Let me explain more in depth When i say 2400 healing a second i mean that effective amount that your group of 30 vs 30 will take damage pre minute on average. Not total amount you can heal but amount your group should take damage at.

becuase at end of the day it not how much “i could heal someone” it how much do i need to heal someone before i can cut gear.

here a clip of what tablet rev look like i havent done anything new i kinda stop playing tablet rev more or less.

But interm of avr healing number if your ele is above 2.4k a minute there a good healer.
rev is about 2.6k.

ele with standerd minstral set up cap up to 7k a minute. <- theory number only see in arrow cart number.

rev with stranded gear i run around 1400 healing power cap out around 6k pre minute.

weakness con thief is confusion mesmer or burn guard. <- both in the meta so the build is fine.

how? mesmer steal skill is giving thief immunity and enough time to smash mesmer
i dont think a mesmer has upper hand over a thief they are prolly equal in a 1v1 but for sure not a thief counter neither is a guard cus the way i played condi thief i didnt do anything beside spamming evades and use 1 / 2 poison fields so screw the guard i would not even be near him while he is having all poison stacks up and kitten easy to re apply em..

the build is broken and thats coming from a thief..

tho im a condi hater so maybe thats why i call it broken i just tried it and it was to easy to apply tons and tons of condi’s in short time while condi dmg was insane.
top of that i was pretty much immune applying condi’s cus of my evade spam in poison fields and then port out with shadow step watching u bleed out if not port back and repeat

because clone will consume con hit space out thief attack on top of that most con builds do not run that great of con removal so you start stacking up confusion on them it become problematic fast for a thief. becuase most hit are chain hit proc confusion mulitable time . if they running “signet of asgility” you just space them out because they have no burst in prolong fight.

upfront the build does insane dmg but if something can draw the fight out for about 40 seconds build die really fast.

but judging by the build you are running retal would be hardest match up.

scrapper is just a brawl most of the time a waste of time.

burn guard you need to con them up then reset the fight. becuase there CD are higher then yours

^ main reason people do not like tablet rev over ele is rev is a lot harder to be effective healer at.

But that being said overall number ele and rev have no different healing total or DPS i say there a slight edge to con removal on ele but it very small.

thief fix a lot of blobing problem with zerging meta just has not accepted them in to it yet.

Love it when my buddies and I run our DD’s and go after the tails of these blobs, and half of the blob chases us (leaving their blob a lot smaller), only for them to run back and we turn around and chop off their tail.

THAT is how to reduce the size of a blob. Its amazing how far ppl will chase you.

i was talking more along the lines if you stack choking gas it become active way to statically remove stab and resistance at a gobal rate. <- no other class even come close to how often thief can effectively deal with both at once. since the meta focus around who can out bunker other until some insane con bomb hit. thief add well to that core design.

like take burn guard i was running DPS check against that build an my thief. burn guard was keeping up with my dps sololy because i dealing with resistance for him.

healer get 1/3 the loot of DPS you have to deal atlest 1k Physical dmg to everything to even get a loot table.

fun way to fight thief is to spam cancel your elite. make it very hard for thief to know when you really want to cast it.

^ reason you spam cancel it is play out full animation so you cant tell if you really casting it or not.

This is a very bad idea. Fights were be lost because people didn’t listen to the commander and ran to the lord instead of fighting at the gate and/or pushing out.

Hmm you may be right i thinking more of it being exploited in term of people tagging npc waiting for other people to cap it. but yeah if it resulted that way making capture point not matter i guess it better overall to remove that idea.

Current system is terrible for new players to WvW.

Pip should be rewarded Based on Playing WvW not simply killing a few NPC an calling it a day.

To fix this problem we should add new type pip reward based on taking / defending stuff.

you gain half a pip for taking a camp. 1 pip for taking a tower. 2 pip for taking a keep. as long you own it an stack across maps.

So you have to be in circle to gain pip reward you cant just go around tagging npc an get bonus.

on top of that if you defend something you already own you gain Pip effect of that camp, tower, keep.

^— i want to see WvW play as a game mode not kill 1 npc an afk at spawn as the current system shows.

i agree avoiding steal is more important then dodging back stab because steal refund thief 1.5 dodges <- does not sound like a big deal on paper but it very hard to deal with if you miss a steal.

what skill do you want to know i can tell you how to do them all.

demon is. 4600 base on 1.0 scale mod and con is 596 and scale .1 mod. so if you had 200 healing power it would means heal become 4800 and con is 616

Dwarf is 5501 hp base healing mod is 1.0 so it become 5701

assassin is 1640 base heal on .25 healing mod, Siphon Healing is 808 on a .2 healing mod
so it become 1680 healing and siphon is 848

Tablet to many but you get point what you do to know healing number of a skill is you go to wiki. it tell you healing mod then you go

Healing power x healing mod + base healing skill = total healing number.

Question is how does Daze work on it.

Say you are in a group of 15vs15 and there is 5 stack of posion on everyone. if we had 3 choking gas on the ground from same thief.

How would the Daze mech work if one of field targeted same player ? it says it only be cap to 1 daze pre second would that imply that it can not target that player again meaning it would pick another player.?

Or does it imply that it would try to CC same player but get cancel out because it can not.

explain further of why thief is ULTRA scary now is. if you read this sigil

you note that first boon it rip is Resistance

now if we take a look at choking gas it pulsing daze every second. Means stab only be rip every .8th of a second means it has 100% value toward ripping stab on top of that once stab is gone. it going to steal every boon on them more important it going to steal Resistance first.

An if you run 3 thief bombing 1 choking gas every 3 seconds they can 100% up time the threshold. (This part i am unsure of but Daze only target 1 person every 1 second So if it can not target that 1 person it skip to next person means it have 100% value on a zerg<—- not tested would love know if mech works like that)

But main reason thief is not used in zerging is because. when you do meta blob fights you cant cast choking gas at all game physically will not allow you cast it fast enough to meet threshold.

i tried staff thief in zerging i prefer if you run it with a centaur banner over anything else. with out a self generating stab source you get destroyed.
