While I’m no official, I would say that it’s only if you purchase the gems, as that’s what they say in the article. It also makes sense because they earn money this way.
It’s never too late to start a GW2 fan site! JumpingPuzzle.com is a fan site that was created four days ago — one with the desire to cover what’s already been covered dozens of times; jumping puzzles. With video and image guides, Jumping Puzzle aims to complete every guide before the new year rolls around.
While I did just mention four days ago, the design of the site had been in development for much longer. This isn’t a site that slapped on a premade template and said we’re good. We took time to design and develop the website (although it’s still in an unfinished state).
Jumping puzzles are, of course, not the only focus of this site. It will feature articles, editorials, fan-made content, and so on. Registrations have just opened up this morning, and members of the site can customize their profiles and post to a Facebook-esque wall!
If you love Guild Wars 2, you’ll love Jumping Puzzle. Check it out. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to hit me up in a number of ways; here in this topic, using the contact form on the site, the comments in articles or guides, or in-game. I’ll respond as soon as I can.
Happy jumping, everyone!
That’s not a totally fair option. Then what about everyone that didn’t get the chance to purchase the “now super exclusive” armor? I’m sorry, but this is the most fair way. You can get a full refund if you don’t like the new skin. But as it stands now, this armor is not fair to the majority of the playerbase (paying or not), as most people roll humans.
Its only not fair to those who bought the T3 set which is not nearly a majority of the playerbase.
It’s human cultural armor. It’s not fair to an entire race in the game. Obviously your opinion is very biased as you like the armor and want to keep it, and that’s fine. But thinking objectively, it’s not fair. I don’t care about T3 light, I don’t play a scholar class. But I can still see where the line needs to be drawn.
How is ‘being allowed to keep it or have a refund if you’re not happy’ not fair compensation?
Because he wants to keep the armor as is. I do to. A totally fair and correct result would have been to remove it from the gem store, redesigning it but let those who have bought it keep the existing skin.

ArenaNet came up with the most fair solution.
Anyway, although, I do have to say that the Quality Assurance needs to be improved. This armor should not have made it past QA in the first place. I realize there are different teams, some that may not know every detail and aspect about the game, but there should be a team that catches these sort of mistakes before they happen. The same goes for no waypoint being present in the fractal storymode.
Holy Hell, that vid, chicks play this game?!
My girlfriend got me into this game.
Yes, that’s all I came to say. Bye.
I was thinking that, since it is a legendary, change the book color to something else while aegis is active. This would apply to all professions as well.
In terms of looks, I love this shield on a guardian. It just suits them so well. In fact, despite how much I hate using a shield on my guardian, this is the first legendary I’m going for with him. I’ll just sit here and hope that Anet makes the shield better as a weapon.
Praise the sun!
I don’t know how I’d build a sunbro in GW2, but I like that this topic is here.
Bye.
If you’re playing competitively, stick with the warrior. If you want to have fun, play the guardian. I had a warrior with full exotics and some ascended trinkets, but made my guardian my main after finding out how much more fun it is. I do play mostly PvE content though.
I used to main warrior, but at one point I remade a guardian that I had deleted a while back. After playing again, it’s just so much more fun than a warrior. I used a name-change scroll to grab my character’s name to re-roll a guardian again (this is after I hit level 62 on the previous one). That’s how much more fun a guardian is for me.
There are a lot of useful guides out there. I generally just Youtube something along the lines of “guardian pve build” to see a few videos of what good builds are, then I do my own thing if I think doing it another way might be more beneficial to my playstyle.
If you’re all about “what’s best,” then go for the warrior. They’re pretty much OP in every build, so you’ll have no problem rolling one. But if you want the fun factor (assuming you’re like me in that regard), I’d roll a guardian. That’s if you’re asking between these two classes specifically. Other classes I find just as fun, but I’m the soldier type, so I stick with the heavies mostly.
Hey everyone!
With the Wind [WtW] is a roleplay and social guild that is open to anyone that we feel fits the mold of our community. We’re laid back, social, and many of us roleplay (although RP is not a requirement). We mostly do PvE content such as dungeon runs and help each other out with many other tasks such as personal stories on alts or finishing dailies and monthlies together.
Without saying too much here, you can check out the guild charter on our website. The website is fully designed by WtW members and we have just recently set it up in the past few days, so now’s a great time to apply and get started.
We do have an application process, one which you can see after reading the charter, but it’s straight-forward and shouldn’t take any more than five minutes or so. But please, leave as many details as you can as we like to get a feel for people before opening our doors. You can also send me or Raena a message in game or on our forum if you have any additional questions; the best time to do that, however, would actually be during the posting of your application.
That should be about it! I’ll wrap this up here and leave a link to the website below.

I’m having the same problem. I’ve never experienced this before other than small hiccups. For the past twenty minutes I’ve been trying to connect to the game, sometimes it lets me on and I’m unable to do much (skills will keep highlighting as if they’re being activated) and during fights there are roughly 10-20 second delays. At the moment I can’t even log into the game, as I get infinite loading on either the launcher, or the first loading screen after selecting a character.
Tested my internet, it’s fine at 50mb download, 10 upload. Though I haven’t tried playing any other online game.
Same here, Kaliki. I did get the achievement for it, but the 20 Empyreal Fragments and then nothing for my next three wins was really demotivating. A trick-or-treat bag or two would suffice, but an empty chest? Eh.
