Left and right images clearly have no mathing flames. So either preview is bugged or the actual wearing is bugged. I hope the proper one is with more flames all the way! :P

By the fast underwater is remover from PvP I draw a conclusion that underwater stuffs will be off the table for at least year or two…
So can a change be made, so that the underwater legendary aura can be kept out of the water.. Since there is no place to use it anyway (besides HotW and Fract that no one ever does after lvl 30) ?

Long story short – me and 2 of my friend went back to old school mob farming.. The results:
Friend 1: 65 mf – got 2 exotics, one of which lvl 80, costs 10gold, 1 rare.
Friend 2: 141 mf – got 2 exotics, medium in price, 3 rares.
Me: 350 mf – 1 rare, lvl 76.

Fractal is joke. Horrible item/gold drop. Normal dungeon has 10x better drop and is 10x faster

Because dungeons don’t drop ascended armor/weapon chests, and you can’t get fractal skins there.

Here is the fix schedule, each phase takes several months:
- Phase 1: Deny/ignore problem.
- Phase 2: Ask for lists of issues/ideas for fixes
- Phase 3: Announce an Exciting!™ fix that will blow your socks off!
- Phase 4: Fix released, completely ignoring all suggestions from Phase 2, not addressing at least 50% of the problem, and totally bugged.
- Phase 5: Return to Phase 1.
That kind of reminded me of the 5 stages of denial skipping the anger part (unless they consead it from us..).. and now they are probably at stage 5 – Acceptance … we accept the bugs and we dont wanna fix them… deal with it…

I’ve been doing Fract 49 every day since forever, and after last update, were supposedly increased drops, I have gotten 1 skin (that I have like 7 copies of), and 1 ascended box(Armor) and nothing more… I barely get even rings(not that I need them). Same goes for the entire party, noone is gettign anything… I am getting tired of this **** ….

U do remember what devs said about what a Legendary should mean… now consider what it means atm… means either you are super lucky or super farming… nothing special about it… that is the problem, and crafting them will not fix anything since the kittens runs about year and half and ppl that actualy Experience the game generay get nothing. The mere fact that they did not make those precursors bound is a hint for all the grind laid as a fondation to all this… and ppl will complain because A-net states one intend, ends up with the opposide result… Crafting ascended gear is more legendary and requires more actual doing then the legendary farming atm…

I was stopping by to the forum on my way to a dark room where I can cry, because once again ppl around me get a precursor drops from a normal ugly and easy to kill mob, while I get lockpicks… The other day a guy from the guild with 1000AP throw 4 random rare items in the forge and how has 700 gold in his bank…. And here I am with 10k AP, throwing 100 rares a week on avarege getting – more rares for the new week wash-up…
My friend, playes twice as much as me, same result,… and then there is another guy from the guild who has already 5 precursors… just like that… What is the legendary of that? I do all there is inside the game and get nothing, someone just drops some junk into MF aaaaand he is rich as kitten…
and Yeah I dont care about the plans You have to make precursors craftable… I am not going to waste my time for that while ppl get them by doing nothing.. not cool A-net ppl no cool at all…

Soo u just told us that cultural armor will no longer be for the specific race.. .cuz all my ascended gear is transmuted and since its ascended should become acc bound… what am I missing?
During the fight i got pushed out of the platform by the berserker and ended up falling on a pipe out of the zone. I was not returned back to the platform. After the rest of the party likked the berserker I was ressurected back still sitting on that pipe.
Unfortunately I tried to make a screenshot while falling of the pipe so that u can see the exact location but I couldn’t make a good one.

I am sorry but we cant camp this event for 2 weeks in expectation for a fix… Can u please give us that achievement, or just remove it… I thinkg 5 attempts are enought for me, and I dont think we are all robots to be force doing this over and over again for nothing at all…

Interesting story with teasing finale. So I rate this 7.5/10
Extremely boring last 2 updates for grinders, that basically make 150 ppl help 2-3 that actually get the worthy drops… I am no that altruistically oriented… 1/10 (considering all the bugs + lots of achievements becoming hard because ppl like to troll…)
Nice ideas about all those group mechanics starting with Teq BUT the fact only 2-3 servers area actually capable of doing them is a fail… 8/10 for the idea, 3/10 for implementation…
Any possibilities that this could be changed in the near future?
So why I can’t use any of the color I have found(consumed)? Basic colors are kind of limited, and I have almost all of the normal dyes, I wanted to chance my skin tone ect.
Is there some problem with doing that or I am missing something?

So I was logging with my main beloved ranger aaaandd surprise (see the screenshot)
I am at the platform, in a time period with the event off.
In case u wondering I tried the same when the event was suppose to be up, and yes I was inside again with Scarlet holograms… I got 1 chest because I managed to log in 3 min before they killed boss, and another time i was alone, because Knight event was still not finished "… FUN))
No response….?
One more thing – Is it me, or melee pets are the only melee thing on this game that has no splash dmg???
Wanna add something about pets:
1. I do not understand, as I point out why the last ability, whether to put it to passive or aggressive stance, has no F4 button bound (or the option to bound it to any button at all). Also why only those 2 option:
a. First in every game I’ve played there is always at least a third stance – Guard – pet attacks only if attacked (or owned gets attacked).
b. May be a patrol option for when u want to hold a point in pvp and u want to cover 2 entrance at once?
2. First “skill” so to speak or F1 (original bound key) it “Attack MY target”. Now I do not understand why its not just “Attack Target”, this way Ranger can hit one target, pet another. Much better control in battle and all.
3. F2 skill, should have a clear way of targeting – like I use F2 and if Target (big red thingy is what I mean, not just left clicking on someone) then the ability(those that are for enemies) should be used on target, not on what ever gets on the way.
4. I stow a pet, this usually means I do not want it for some reason – why is the pet popping out when I get dmg of any sorce? I may want to save it for a later stage of the battle, or may be I do not want it to draw agro on 12345 in PvE… or just think that poor creature is ugly and wanna hide it from the world, either way Stow means don’t show up unless I say so pls..
5. Also something important at least for PvE (this might make it OP in other aspects of the game) – Since Dodging is insanely big part of this game, and pet has no ability to do it – problem. Some bosses have Super attacks – 1 hit down, how to save the pet? U can switch, yes, but bosses tend to attack a bit more often then once every 15 seconds(if traited). Again Not cool!. And that trait – gaining protection on dodge – boss hits with 50k – go protect your pet from that… either give it dodge as Ranger is dodging (If ranger is dodging pet should mimic), or make that HP of his reliable. (Favorite examples are Fract bosses – Mossman double axe hit – 2 pets down in like 10 sec). Also Stow option might be useful here, if there is some sort of timer on it, so u decide to save your pet from death, but penalty will be not being able to spawn it again in certain period and s.o.
I don’t think those stuffs will make anything OP or will even need balance testing, its just for better control during battles.
P.s. Also I’ve seen A LOT of names of pets that just begs for a Report – No option. Character name is in norm, what do I report it then?. At least add option for a small comment over reports if not something else.. If I report it for offencive Nickname – u check it – its OK, no Action taken…
This is not funny. Its bad enough AoE is limited to 5 man, and ever minion master go around it, now a “ghost pet”can simply negate all your utilities at the wrong time…
When a ranger die there is like 10-15 sec till respawn, and when he does his pet spawns for 1 second on the very place it was right before the death of the owner, then blinks away asap. Problem is if there is AoE on the ground like traps/well ect. its being triggered by the phantom pet. Not cool at all :P
I am sorry for not having the physical time to read the entire trait, so sorry if I am repeating something already said. My main and most beloved class in this game is ranger
1. First I want to mention the specific skill rangers have – Opening strike. There is a grandmaster trait Remorseless Regain (Opening Strike whenever you kill a foe or gain stealth.). While is PvE and WvW that is useful non the less, in sPvP, there is nothing good about it – 1 crit hit with vulnerability and that’s all, since you have 1 skill with longbow that make you invisible, and killing enemy is not that often, I just don’t think its worth it.
2. Active effects of signets also affect you – How does this work with the Signet of Renewal’s Active: Your pet pulls all conditions from nearby allies to itself??? So my pet pulls all the conditions to himself, so do I?
3. Beastmaster’s Might Activating a signet grants might. Since every signet has 60 sec cd(besides 1) and with the 20% reduction that is 48 sec. So every 48 sec I get 3 stacks of might for 15 secons, considering other might giving traits and abilities, that seems so weak to me.
4. Pet’s Prowess Pet do more damage on critical hits. That is not visible in pet tab (so is Expertise Training: Pets deal extra condition damage.)
5. Traps build is super fun and very strong, as long as there are no Puppet masters or Spirit rangers or Mesmers – because hey -5- man AOE cap is kind of !? kittens. Also I remember a promo video about the class, showing how to use traps in PvE, but its absolutely no use for it since mobs are mainly scatared all over maps standing 1 by 1 alone (so weird to see entire army standing about 2-3 meters from eachother).
6. When u have Shared Anquish and Hide in Plain Sight at the same time which one procs first??? IF they do both at the same time, why?
7. There is only 1 trait connected with Axes – why? Since they are for both main and off hand, that seems kind of – Don’t use axes msg You send.
I wish the ability to choose to have or not to have a pet was something you consider, but I highly doubt it, because this will mean a total remake of the class. But the ability to hide the pet on command is something doable. We must have the option to just hide it and not to be able to pop up when u take dmg. Also why is the 4th skill connected with pet not assign with a key F4? I will skip sword inability to dodge, I know you are working on that. I agree on combining Commanding Voice and Speed Training into 1 trait.
I want to share some thoughts over the first topic, connected with Fractals since is one of my favorite places, and I’ve spend most of my time there so far.
A lot was changed during the last fract update, and all for the better.
1. The new way different fractals are rolled looks wrong for me:
a. I can’t compare either of the tiers by time required and difficulty, but what I know is before the change it was completely random – you can get a super fast line up with Swamp-Aquatic-Urban, while now u don’t have that chance, but instead the option to get Uncategorized+Cliffside+Underground. Result: no option for a relatively fast run, many options for a long long long run.
b. Second and third tier looks well balanced, but first tier seems wrong, and since everybody are rolling swamp as first, its kind of in vain.
2. There is a bid of restrictions about what is useful there. I personally, having over 250 runs done(not 250 fractals from the achievement, which add to 50 full runs) I find most classes kind of falling off inside. My favorite class – Ranger – has nothing to offer – pet dies instantly to bosses because of no dodging abilities, pure dmg is lower than guards or warriors or even mesmers, spirits are useful but again, instant death to boss hits rendering them useless. And its not the only class falling off in there.
3. The Mistlock Instabilities that were presented are something superb by my standards – make stuffs super fun. But why made them predetermined, when u could have made for instance 10 random that circulate from tier 31-40 and s.o. That would make things even better. Some of them look untested – lvl 43 Bloodlust – is the best example that requires a particular builds and lineups in order to be done successfully especially in some fractals with lots and lots of mobs like Cliffside, dredge, that is pure nightmare.
4. The loot – the big problem everywhere… I will post a chart of mine from all the runs I have done in a month after the big Fract update to compare my “luck”. My biggest problems there are:
a. I get the same skin drop over and over and over. Its not on the chart but I got 7 harpoons 5 rifles and 4 pistols… what is that RNG that has no anti-repetitive mechanism embedded.
b. Same rings keep dropping … every third ring is knight(or the same stats with precision as main). For all the time I’ve doing fract I have seen ~3 zerker rings and ~2 soldier ones… not cool not at all…
c. Why lvl 30 gives me sooo much drops in that bonus chest, lvl 49 gives relatively nice, but compared to the way too easy one to run lvl 30 this is madness. Not even to mention lvl 40 which gives me nothing, nothing at all…
d. Fix LFG tool – Tier range there is still the same and about 80% of the ppl still have no idea that tiers are changed to 21-30 31-40 41-50, and that is frustrating when u want to run the top lvl for the tier.
e. Also only 1 armor box so far.. that’s weird, considering the weapon boxes dropping.
5. There is a trand with LFG tool, its not a big deal but a lot of new players tend to join runs announced for lvls 40+, because they think it’s the hero lvl, not the fract lvl. Something like the restrictions for dungeons must be implemented – when a Character is below the lvl for a dungeon u cant even click on the tab in LFG. Same must be done in fractals tab.
6. Mechanics:
a. Mossman invis time was greatly improved after last patch, but I still find it into some episodes of long or many short invisibilities which make it so annoying because of all the waiting needed. New attacks that were added did improve the battle a lot, but waiting for him to get out of invi is just boring.
b. Urban Battleground NPCs that follow you have very poor AI, and they keep rushing into the middle area if you are not careful resulting into bad things.
c. Uncategorized – BUG: At last boss, if 1 party member remains outside when the cage falls and locks the entrance for the room boss never resets. So 4 man can wipe, ress and go in, boss will be with the HP they felt it.(not sure if that is fixed)
d. Jade – If ranger/mesmers/Pupet master necros ect. Present there, the time for finishing is practically doubled for every body count presented. While I can understand mesmers and necros have a control over the spawning of their copies/puppets, rangers have no such option. So 2-3-4 ranger have no option to hide their pets and jade constantly targets them even if they have no HP.
7. Add the possibility to buy Mist essence with relics (doesn’t matter which relics).

About all the recipes You added like celestial… would there be a new wave of them, because non of the new players can obtain them atm.. A chest piece cost 32g, and if u have to get a full set i will cost more then cultural armor… i think thats not very nice. May be add them in BLTP? Like a packs – mediam armor pack or something like that

I agree with that… I also play since lunce, and got 10k AP and I see no reason in those 21ks for a set… why would I need the gloves on 1 set, while the other one is still half way in… looking at the current AP leaderboards – and presuming the full set of 1 type will be available at 27 AP I can do the following math:
Game is on for what 17 months now? so thats an avarage of 1176 AP per month (watching the top of the board). Getting into consideration that a lot of the AP like weapon master, slayer, and so on dont have progression, ppl cant keep on getting that much AP at this point. I dont even think that they can hit 1000 APs per month (u get 710 AP if all daily and monthly both PvP and PvE achievements are done)… Adding the Livin story APs – arround 40 to ~130 APs so avarage is about 85… the result is about 800 APs.
The top player for Europe currently has 20552 APs – so for him, to the the full set, this means 8 months of insane grinding… Talking about legacies here… I can’t be the only one thinking this is wrong to say at least…
p.s. My math is not the best, correct me if I am wrong its not my Major of studies after all…
Seriously why 21k… do u realize how much is that.. If i want a particular set, sor instance Hellfire, why would i want to pick Radiant gloves at 12k, and wait for 21k to get the boots, probably u will add leggings and chest armor for 31 and 50k AP.. i think thats a bit insane… Ok u want playes to be distinguish and everybody would be able to see what they have achieved, but still….

Well I cant say do this or that, make AoE unlimiter, or punish summoners, BUT something must be changed… I atempts for promoting support builds, changes here and there, probably they’ve done that for PvE, unlimited targeting will be too much in there, but sPvP is a another story.. I Puppet master is enough actualy to negate every AoE since he has more then 4 mobs available (if I’m not wrong, i havent played it)
I do not understand what is the meaning of that 5 targets per AOE when the roaster stuck me against 3 puppet master necros and a mesmer… Can someone from explain to me how is this balanced… the AOE is practically useless, and targeting system (from my observations) have the habit of hitting the closest target, and not the one that I have selected (so no pierce set, no dmg goes not where u wanted it to be)….
I feel like I am missing something with that… and the amount of necros and mesmers is too kitten high… so Again how is this balanced even by a long stretch?
This goes for any of the past Living story updates.. I can understand why those mobs have no drops (other the specific items like the code fragments), but why aren’t they counted for weapon master achievement… that is very frustrating.. I spend a lot of time there killing hundreds mobs and at the end counter gets like 2-3 max 5 mobs that count…. same goes for not loading sigil.. And its not just for those mobs, for instance in Collosus fractals, on the arm seals, and many more examples of that.
I spend 80 gold for 10 dye kits, got 1 illumination dye 2 Charcoal dyes… and milion common dyes…. if that is normal… kitten me..
and I am not saying give me the most expencive color, I just wanted one for my guard one of the cheapest new colors… 10 packs give u nothing…
