I don’t know and I don’t care but, I will say they need to announce something because I haven’t played in about 4 months because I hate the game now. pvp sucks and is imbalanced as all hell thanks to thief (this includes pve’s pvp WvW) leaving only pve the only balanced region for me imho. I want to play the freaking Tengu race and I want Cantha I’ve had enough of this Tyria bs and I don’t care about going to Istan/Vabbi.
and I will state in the first 8 months of the game I spent around 3-4 grand
ok so something changed in the 1 week I was away? last I saw of the season it was split into 2 leagues not 3. what happened I apparently need filling.
Transfer to BP… the fights the last few weeks have been epic on all fronts. I haven’t seen such good roaming, skirmishing and open field fights in… well… ever. It may just be luck of the draw but it seems T3/T4 have shaped into a place of fantastic fights no matter what style of play you prefer.
Heck my entire small guild which left for a while have all come back and they are loving it.
true but still doesnt change the fact I was looking forward to it because we were at rank 13 and now we are rank 10 as a t6 server….. stuck against worlds that easily have ques for 2 hours for some people because they have so many people in every bl I don’t want to leave yaks because for the most part the community there is like family to me first world to be nice after all my transfers during headstart and first month of the game. all the others are infested with elitist pricks which yaks has a few of now
Great Job anet you’ve officially lost me as soon as I’m done with mad king stuff. WvW was the last thing I was able to do being in end game have 2 legendaries full ascended etc etc and now we get stuffed in league 1 (On Yaks Bend) no skill involved just who has the bigger zerg ball i dont give a crap what kind of rewards you guys developed the good things still go to the larger zerg so thanks again add more pve stuff as I see you can’t level out WvW. This would mean polish the tengu I’ve been waiting on them for a good 7 or 8 months when I found out they had been set as one the the starting ‘6’ races but ultimately was decided against I’ll pay $50 or more easy to get them and any content that is related to them and keep me away from WvW.

on topic(with gramar this time -.-) around 2k achiev and holding a legendary I smell a ban comming that way. I mean that’s almost dead blatant of buying gold seeing that anet nerfed dungeon running for gold. I myself only have a little more than 6k ap and have twilight and honestly ap means nothing. I’ve seen 9k ap players that have about as much clue about what to do in the game as my 8 year old brother. some people achievment hog every living story which actually nets a good amount of ap.

^ Well on that tangent… I don’t farm champs … period. But I’ve gotten TWO Entropy’s this week. So I would say there’s always RNG at work too. RNG would go a really long way towards explaining why some people might have Legendaries yet no concept at how to actually be “good at vidya games”
true rng hates me over the course of the first year I put in over 3000 greatswords exotic and rare and I never saw a dusk or dawn I did luck up and get 2 lord taeres’s Shadows(champ bags) tho didnt sell gave one to a guildy the other I equiped when I got mine I could have sold for over 300g but c’mon the skin is SICK!! broke down and bought an entropy 2 days ago and beacon of light about 6 days ago zodiac skins took me around 100 to get 10 scraps and like 4 people in my guild opened 10 and got 3 tickets -.-
Edit: granted there were more in the guild like me but the fact that some people are just so lucky is UGH like a guildy put 4 RANDOM rares in the forge(weapons) and got dawn………………………………

Well, all I know, I have yet to “try” for a legendary and have even sold many of those mats, while I have 8-80’s (all classes), representing all races, 2 commander tags, avg 2.5 full sets of gear and weapons per character, 1/2 t2/t3 transmuted cultural, master crafter, personal story twice. Most guilds I’ve been in, majority of players are farming alone and doing solo world map completion with one or two characters built for after legendary mats/gold. I don’t knooow…. /me shrugs
Not trying to be rude honest but it took me 7 months to make my twilight yea it was a lot of grind and no i didn’t run the norm I prefered knights or soldiers to berserkers and have 6 lvl 80’s out of 11 characters 4 100% maps just started WvW on my main warrior also has my twilight only 32 WvW rank don’t have dungeon master because I only ran the dungeons I needed for my legendary or particular armor skin I wanted 1 commander tag 5 t3 sets of armor 2 fully ascended characters 2 others half ascended with full ascended for an upcomming tengu guardian when they get release because my t3 commander human is just too common granted tengu prob will be too but oh well 7 of my 11 characters are human I want something different I am far from a good player but I am better than some I’ve come in and guided pugs that had been in arah for 5 hours just trying to beat lupi explained and didn’t do like you prob get downed ur dead I would immediately rez you may not think it but if your team actually stays up in that fight they learn rather fast and start understanding the fight + gives u more targets that are not yourself and more dmg to get him to the next phase faster just putting that out there. I’ve given away 900 or so ecto 1 precursor 3 stacks of t6 materials so I think I’ve done better than you since I gave rather than sold I’m not counting lodestones
TL;DR: Thieves will finally require skill. No more lame permastealthing. OP mad.

As a WvWvW thief I welcome the reveal on ranger pets. They deserve loving, and this will rid us of thieves who need to l2p without perma stealth. Good riddance.

You’re right. Berserker Stance and Engy’s condi immunity at 25% health are both rather uncomfortably close to hard counters, and I would agree in that they’re not shining examples of balance and probably shouldn’t exist in a well-balanced game. However, something had to be done about the condi-dominated meta in sPvP, and this is their temporary solution until they rework condi’s more thoroughly (or at least I hope that’s their plan).
However, these certainly does not go quite as far as Revealed does to Stealth.
Firstly, Berserker Stance is not immunity, but a duration reduction of 100%, which can be overcome by condi duration increase. Secondly, any condi’s that were applied beforehand continue to tick at their full duration. Whereas Revealed ignores any and all factors that can affect stealth duration and removes any additional stealth duration remaining on the Thief.
Again, I’m not arguing that Berserker Stance or Engy’s condi immunity is balanced, just that it isn’t as much of a hard-counter to condi’s as Revealed is to Stealth.
berserkers is far more balanced than you are saying far more than stealth ok u get revealed as i said 6 to 8 seconds same as berserkers u said conditions before hand still go full duration conditions a warrior can kill you through if that’s what they are doing conditions hurt a warrior trying to run which is when they get overwelmed because nothing really wants to 1v1 a war unless they have perma blind stealth now a guardian can kill a war because they can outheal a warriors dmg with healway because of buffs shouts remove conditions dodge roll heals weaponswap adds a dodgeroll blocks and invul elite plus almost constant burning

Revealed removes stealth and prevents stealth from being applied for the duration of the debuff. Nine out of fifteen traits requires the thief to stealth or be in stealth for these traits to work.
As for the other unaffected traits, Last Refuge kills more than saves and its mandatory to have for SA traits. The rest are weak or situational.
Knowing that I think its safe enough for me to say that giving classes enough access to Revealed will pretty much kill an entire traitline.

knote u got that wrong engi’s are the one with the condition immunity at 25% health not wars we have endure pain condition dmg still hurts us but direct dmg does not hurt because u can still hit us we just take no physical dmg just keep applying conditions we will prob get downed b4 it ends
I actually tried this awhile back. I just shelved the Warrior and made the Thief my main lol.
Shelve classes that can’t face roll escape zergs and kill people gg bet you can’t touch kitten in pve get good nub at least my warrior can be used everywhere l2p from thief means they have no skill they just panic button if they get hit and run like a little kitten I face roll troll people on my thief with the simple avoidance of people 1 v 1 I can kill but lately it’s always 1 v 3-8 and well when u get stunned and immobilized for 8 seconds stealth only does so much when they spam aoe kd cripple and stun when u need to be able to use ur next stealth

Okay Mr. do it right. Traitline is not negated just the trait that everyone of you noob thieves use to be overpowered is now harder to use meaning you have a form of cooldown now. Isn’t it nice to be balanced now? Also be it 6 seconds or 8 that is the average CD on many other classes skills also giving you a 40 second window before you have to worry about it again. Can’t kill them in 32 seconds as a thief play a different class and get good.
ok he is crying stealth is revoked by revealed. ok use detected stealth still doesnt offer any help dps burst with stealth comes from backstab ie not being seen and able to get behind ur enemy even if u can use backstab ur still able to be seen ur not getting behind that guy most classes will still hit u for 2-4k on crits maybe more I’ve seen 5k with my gs and axe on thieves ie half their life detected ok u heal ur not invis I still beat the kitten out of u and u can’t apply pressure because u can’t make proper use of stealth skills for the simple fact I can see your movements
Edit: In the end get skill maybe you will learn what it’s like to be seen by everything. as for sic’em needs a target to use pet has to hit you so dodge pet attack and maintain stealth like u always do because u suck at the game I’ll admit I haven’t played mine in a while and I can’t seem to kill anything but I can survive zergs easy with stealth just being able to escape with no effort is what is getting changed ie make ur fight initiation extreme or ur dead

Nah, I hate PUGs with a passion. I mainly play with the guild. Just fed up with the special treatment warriors seem to be getting.
no special treatment just warriors have always been naturally prominent in PvE always and I do mean always it won’t change however I do miss being a healer and like one post said earlier the holy crap no one died! makes you smile specially if it is a 1 healer team can be a strain no one prob knows about Lineage it was kinda lame imo now that I look back at it but it was fun and gw1 a 1 monk team for like 6 missions and they screamed when I said I had to go.
Edit: i’m talking a 1 heal team that didn’t stop for my mana recharge practice and skill management made all the difference there were some decent healers out there but they would scream rest I just told my teams go at your pace if we rushed through it I did too miss getting those close calls on people using that last bit o energy and after the fight with several of those on many of the party getting pm’s of gratitude had one guy trade me 60k gold for one mission once

I don’t think giving other classes the Revealed status is an acceptable way to provide counter-play to invisibility.
Revealed, as a self-regulation mechanic on Thieves for Stealth attacks, is perfectly fine. However, when given to other classes to apply on Thieves, Revealed becomes a hard-counter to the Stealth mechanic, completely disabling the mechanic and all it’s related effects and abilities and traits that depend on it. Revealed disables an entire traitline of utility effects for the Thief and disables the Thief’s best burst/control/condi abilities (Stealth attacks), severely crippling any Thief built around any of the above aspects.
Hard counters should not exist in a balanced game, because they result in rock-paper-scissors interaction between classes and builds that are simply not fun for the player on the wrong side of the equation.
The fact that hard-counters do not exist currently in GW2 for any other major mechanic for any class is what I consider to be one of the most impressive accomplishments in the design and balance of the PvP aspect of the game. This will no longer be the case once Revealed becomes available to other classes.
I would like to suggest an alternative to Revealed in the form of another effect that specifically counters invisibility, rather than the entire Stealth mechanic. Let’s call it “Detected” for now.
The Detected effect will make the Thief fully visible and targetable for its duration, but will not prevent the Thief from entering the Stealth state itself like Revealed does. This effect will provide counter-play to the invisibility aspect of the Stealth mechanic, but will still allow Thieves to go into the Stealth state to gain the effect of any traits he built for and to access stealth attacks that are a key component of a majority of Thief builds.
In other words, Detected would be a soft-counter to the invisibility aspect of Stealth, but will not hard-counter the entirety of the Stealth mechanic like enemy-induced Revealed would. Detected should be implemented in place of Revealed in the upcoming Sic Em change, and in the previously implemented Stealth Traps in WvW, and in any similar anti-stealth skills going forward.
I feel this would be provide counter-play to invisibility while being much fairer to Thief builds that rely on the Stealth mechanic.

I got some thoughts on this hard counter? it can be evaded no? in a balanced game? you consider thieves balanced? vanish from a zerg and escape is balanced? get real kid time of face roll keyboarding to win is over it’s time to develop skill and if u rely on stealth to do dmg you need a lot of practice also in the dagger since of stealth attack relies on being invisible ie it does more damage from flank or in the back not the face argument invalid and you keep failing to realize how you refer to stealth yea u get unique attacks for bein in it but also relies on you not being seen for it to be any use if u can be seen we can still hit you making ur stealth STILL WORTHLESS big whoop u might get initiative regen and hp regen but its not going to counter 2-4k dmg every swing on you nor are u going to be able to kite the person because ur used to actually being invisible

idk if it will be zerker stats but like you said about fractals you will DEFINATELY need ascended ie with experience u can go all the way to 19. after that Agony resistance is a must which means those WvW infusions you have are going to get replaced anything without ar will get replacedas you will die without it as well as the mobs get tougher not by a lot but they gradually get harder and harder requiring the best of the best gear not exactly zerk stats but the highest teir and anet will keep adding things like that which means the highest teir needs to be a bit easier to access cause atm u spend 40 ecto and 40 laurel or 5g+ 12 guild commendations(max 6 per week) rings 10 pristine relics 1 a day after personal level 10 or higher in fotm 35 laurel 25 laurel+250 badges of honor amulet 20L+250 badges or 30L ie with montly minus achievements just laurel would take 180 laurel 30 days a month 6 months -60 for 10 each month which drops to 4 months doing daily every day and monthly or u can spend 2 weeks all guild missions guild and get 1 access so 1 month on that 20 days for rings and 10 days + monthly for amulet with badges of honor in the end 1 month for a full ascended trinket minus back
Did you even read the thread? This isn’t demanding updates to our current legendaries. We are demanding the updates which were promised in the patch notes and live stream. The footfall effects never got updated.

Rodgort has them they need to make rodgort incinerator and predator unique aspects in their footfall it doesnt make them feel special to have the exact same footfall big whoop my hand has fire or there is a flame colored aura around me that’s not making them unique now bolt footsteps still seem small but the fact there is electricity sparking everywhere makes it sexy why can’t the 3 fire weapons get a unique bit to them to make owners feel special and unique?
Edit to sum it up for you when u get in combat with other legendaries which I assume they were meant for not just walking around town going loot at me I’m pretty FIRST thing noticed is footfall specially in WvW i think ele thief engi/war or a noob using torch because it’s not viable really anyways Footfall is noticed first if it’kittenting you then it’s the weapon and lastly the character as a whole not the freaking hands so aura is at the bottom it goes footfall weapon/effects and aura make ALL legendaries have a more unique aspect to them twilight and sunrise are noticeable from footsteps alone as is eternity did well on dreamer axe moot kudzu(even tho i hate it) jugg and scepter work on the ones not mentioned please ie give footfall to flameseeker and ministrel(i do like the music notes comming off of it tho)

That would be good, I want to use my bifrost with a necromancer theme…
No skin change is needed, just add an extra blackish color template to choose and some more aura options like lightning, blue glow aurora, greenish toxic cloud etc. So I would be able to combine green toxic cloud with black color etc. for my preference.
This system will work just like stat selection window of legendary weapons. You will select a color template and an effect template, that’s it.
At least they have to give us an opportunity to exchange our legendary weapon for the same type legendary for once when new ones come out. For example Staff for Staff Gs for Gs etc..
Might be neat but I’m not giving up my twilight I will just save up and make the new gs lol
Edit: also idk about you guys but I am obsessed with halloween so I would love to be able to put Lime green and orange affects in twilight rather than the red I kinda like the blue and purple at the right angles in it but idk just more options for color maybe I’d like to have black and lime green some people might want black and yellow

I have to agree. I can’t see many new players off soloing Champions. If you have only played this game for a few hours and are level 15 or under, you probably aren’t going to be able to take on the Troll, for example, all by yourself.
I don’t know…first it’s ‘There is no reason to kill Champs, there is no reward’, and now it’s ‘Nerf the rewards on Champions, too many people want to kill them’. What’s a person to do?
^this the queensdale troll champ is the only one I cant solo ie can’t dodge evade/block enough EVERY hit he lands may only bee 100-200 dmg but instant 6 stacks of bleed for about 8 seconds might be 10 2 hits ur health is dropping fast JUST from bleed plus ur at half health heal skills take a second to recharge so yea gl I’ve tried my guard and war in bunker builds shouts remove conditions shields blocks everything and still cant solo it
Edit: you may be like range it don’t let it get close dodge the rock he knocks u down with u forget his health regens so u need either extreme condition dmg with 1 weapon or to swap weapons ranger might be able to idk but trolls naturally regenerate making him a tough cookie solo maybe we can start a kitten contest and people can post videos of attempts or successful solo’s of this champ

When the devs steer a game away from entertaining play and toward grinding for loot, this is exactly what you get.
It’s what “the people” want apparently. I still can’t understand the “fun” factor people find in mindlessly zerging champ after champ for hours on end but eh, guess they paid their money just like I did. Hopefully Anet will start to look at putting engaging encounters in the game once they see how the new Tequatl pans out. Sadly if that fight goes south and people refuse to play it because they think it’s too hard it won’t bode well for any of the players that find entertainment from well thought out encounter design that promotes having to use a modicum of “skill” and organization.

however for the people that occasionally go and kill a champ with friends or solo them as you happen across them want to be rewarded for doing so.

Whats not okay is name calling and harassing players that are just playing the game. Report the people doing it. After a few 72 hour bans ( or perma if they keep insisting on being jerks in game) they will stop.
Stop being a victim and play the game how you want and report the people that are being rude and nasty. Anet will ban them. And for people that farm non stop during their game time…. well 72 hours of not being able to is harder for them then you think lol.

Shadowpuppet I love you this what you said is also why WvW is a joke don’t get me wrong anet if u read this comment but you really screwed up mindless zergs is all you get in league 1 league 2 however is going to be challenging and most definately rewarding assuming u guys have good rewards for league 2 league one shouldn’t get a D thing rank 1 2 and 3 and going to roll all other servers when this starts unless they fight eachother then it’s just who has the most time on PvDoor for points because none of the league 1 worlds yes for some reason yaks is in it with our VERY low WvW pop but the others are zerg balls you wont find 1 player with skill easy 1 v 1’s on top of that even the worlds in league 1 those that can afford it will most likely bandwagon onto the top rank worlds so they can get rewarded for ‘winning’

Shing Jea Island was the best I loved it and I would love to just be able to FULLY explore the jade sea. now the city was bad in most areas but as far as the palace went I liked it. in the game you spent most of your time between SJI and Ench forest/jade sea just being able to explore those spots we just looked at and said “I wanna go dat-a-way!” (wall) cry. would also like to hear more of shiro yes he was locked away but he was once just a simple soul like everyone else and he made his way to the top he is a powerful force who is to say there isnt people trying to free him just as abbadon was trying to be freed by Varesh and if he did start poking cantha with what the ugh what’s the name of the Purity group eh either way they would HAVE to call for help like they did the first time(nostalgia kitten for some resembling events from gw1) maybe he could be stopped fast but then there is a greater power that draws the continents attention and ends up giving shiro time to come back maybe a changed spirit? people and things can change you know

We have yet to see the Crystal Desert, Ring of Fire, the cities of Cantha(yeah, I said the “C” word), the Jade Sea or the Underworld. Most of our existing GW2 world is pretty, mid-European decor. Even the jungles don’t really look like jungles.
In my dream design, there would be a whole new set of leveling zones based around a theme. I’d love the option of starting a new character somewhere else.
lol I’m posting a lot but I really like this thread and as a vet gw1 player I would love to see underworld with what they’ve done with gw2 so far they could easily make some story scenarios out of it (remember gwens mother in UW for gw1?) if gwen was in your party they interacted and gave some backstory on the searing of ascalon either way they could use this for revenue and make dlc bonus stories allowing us to recap some of (gw2’s historical and memorable battles some new and some old(relevant for some of us gw1 vets that we can be like man I remember that and maybe just put us doing an optional task we didnt get to do in gw1 but we get to see togo and mhenlo with random adventurers fighting afflicted and shiro etc)
I really want to see a very dark forest with no minimap allowed, so you must find the way to something, but this forest must be huge, with few houses/camps with torches, in that you can buy stuff, but i want it to be open zone, not like the southsun survival, so you can see other people and go with them + there must be no waypoints, ooh that would be nicee, im thinking on making a new topic in the suggestion forum about this.

oooo I like your idea that would be nice and it would encourage player interaction as it may get or just become more challenging making it impossible to go alone give us something that makes us have to work like a community such as this make a living story that we go to investigate something and it collapses under our feet as the start of it kind of how the jubilee was done with the instance we are investigating (doable solo or with party) and upon finishing at collapse dropping us into a non mapped no waypoint zone with other players similar to ebg jp(dark room) it would be like sab but better!(no offense sab is alright just doesnt tickle my fancy) who knows maybe you could link it to an expansion for release of tengu as it has parts with tunnels made by a horrid and powerful creature that will soon threaten them

I’ve always like Cloud Kingdoms ever since I got to the Kingdom of Zeal in Chrono Trigger. The Zephyr Sanctum kinda counts as one I guess, I really enjoyed that release. Maybe the Zephyrites have a main sky kingdom island they live on?
Also, Seas/Island It’s time to explore the unknown or what was once known.
We need some brave explorers to step up to the plate and chart the Unending Ocean, perhaps they’ll find Cantha. Perfect excuse to reinstate the hero system.
Living story is perfect for opening up new regions. I’m tired of festivals and SAB. Nothing would make me more happier if they added new explorable areas and made exploration meaningful.
God no do not listen to this guy on reinstating heroes it killed gw1 imo I hated the fact there was no player interaction then leave hero system dead or lose players yea we don’t like playing solo but adding heroes still makes it solo imo they don’t interact with you. You can’t start talking about last nights football game or animes no just no let dead dogs remain dead they are not touched by zhaitan
on topic Cantha please or stir something up to allow us the players to assist the tengu that might add some more things maybe as far as landscape who knows just I am dieing to give you my money for some in game lore that the tengu provide in their interactions that tell us about talon and cantha and the years after shiro

This is true granted I have 4 warriors all 80 full exotic except my asura and human wars full ascended trinkets and human war has twilight I presonally prefer GS and sword+shield or axe+shield/mace mainly because I run full berserkers and shield stance has allowed me to make it out of sketchy situations. working on predator tho and almost done so I’ll post back in a week or so when it’s finished and let you know what I think of Rifle and GS combo
thieves well perma stealth skill spammability via no cooldown and traits that restore initiative guardian just look at healway practically perma vigor and swiftness/regen/protection dodge roll heals for 2-3.5k leap blinds etc etc hmm ele i mean come on mine is lvl 22 and I can get 8 boons just by swapping through my attunements lightning flash mistform rtl and skill 3 mainhand dagger attuned to fire and a weapon skill that makes u invulnerable stop qqing wars are meatshields they have mobile strikes way down the line which already means you are sacrificing damage and survivability just so u have a shot at escaping 3 or 4 people hit u with immobilize mobile strikes is useless get stopped ever few miliseconds gg i missed one I think nope so there you have it u guys QQ about wars because u don’t know how to play (they have the MOST blatant skill animations making them easy to avoid no way of hiding from enemies making them always targeted only hope we have is knowing when to back off and running faster than you so if you get killed by a war using any of the other classes might want to head back to pve and practice
can you make it so that warriors can switch to a 3rd or 4th weapon set? Since we’re weapon masters and all. This should make us different to other classes. Right now nothing is more mundane than us. Thieves have stealth, Mesmers have clones, etc…
This I can agree and disagree mainly it would require traits to be far spread to get benifits for some of the weapons otherwise we have sum there just for aesthetic purposes rather than actual use granted it would free up inventory space because we do have what 12 different weapons we can use diverge those into the many combos that we can make with them UGHHHH 3 equipment bags full and 4 weapons in a oiled bag 18+ slots each but yea I agree warriors should have something unique to us yes rangers have dumb pets BUT you can use their skills in the downed state giving u yet another fight control to get yourselves up via kd and fear pets then “Lick my wounds” garunteed revival unless caught in a zerg then no one is save except thieves and mesmers maybe a war if they time evades right necro second health bar yea that’s totally fair “i got em I got em” —> full health fear and they keep running fight over they heal mesmer clones(cripple reflect more conditions dmg equivelent to that of other players from clones) engi master of cc and escape elixer S trait utility many many stun breaks

But to answer your question, stealth is not your mechanic..When will you Thieves realize this.
Steal is….Stealth is just something you have similar to Rangers with Evade to avoid damage.
It is not an actual Mechanic you have though.
You are correct in that stealth is not a mechanic exclusive to thieves, 4 of the 8 classes have stealth access. However stealth attacks ARE a mechanic exclusive to thieves, and are completely disabled by an enemy controlled on demand revealed. No other class can have their exclusive abilities disabled like this.
First of all thieves QQ less play a class that doesnt have stealth and see how long u last when u can’t spam ur blinds and spam stealth this is why thieves should have the stealth mechanic completely removed from them and instead something that blurrs them giving evasion for 2 or 3 seconds u cry about refuge removal if u get launched out gg learn ur class launches are easy to avoid ie banis stomp and skill 4 with hammer ranger would be most difficult but ha u just get close and spam blind on them like you do all classes that don’t aoe hard get skill thieves are thieves not assassins remove stealth completely if they wont stop QQing make the class require skill

A stealth-based thief will be completely crippled because a ranger has a single skill on their utility bar, and will then be left defenseless since he didn’t spec in to the acrobatics line and only has two dodges, with a maximum of four or five if using sword/dagger.
Yours might, mine won’t. If you can’t survive long enough for Reveal to wear off then you need to stop relying on stealth so you’ll learn to dodge, kite, use crowd control, and use terrain to your advantage. Or perhaps you need to stop running a one-trick-pony build and start running something a little more balanced? Either way, I can say with all certainty that stealth is NOT required for a thief’s survival.
Because the heal itself doesn’t restore health, right? Just because YOU can’t survive without stealth doesn’t mean the class itself can’t survive without stealth. Try trading in some of your Berserker’s gear and using the other tools given to you before claiming your glass cannon build is too fragile to survive without stealth? If you rely upon stealth to survive then you’re using stealth as a crutch.

Dear sir, you failed to use your dodge to dodge the correct skill. You should dodge the Sic Em, not dodge after the Ranger’s PET has used Sic Em on you. There are some seriously dangerous skills out there that must be dodged right or you die. Moa, Kill Shot and Eviscerate all say hi.
Please learn to dodge the correct skill at the right time, and thank you for learning how to play GW2 correctly.

If a Warrior uses Signet of Might to take down a Guardian using Shelter, that’s fair.

I’m a little zerker thief that cannot survive without the guarantee that nobody can pull me out of my little stealth, not even by a little pet with a little skill that has 40 seconds recharge and can be dodged. It hurts my little feelings that you are introducing a little counter to my little broken mechanic. I cannot kill other players if I do not hide my little self and use my little zerker equipment. QQThere are other thief players right here who just said they can survive without stealth.

I dont have to say anything else, everyone can clearly see the difference in skill level.
I like you I really do you replaced that scenario with other classes while yes multitude of people time my dodges and shield stance b4 qs to gs whirlwind and rush ooc but even then it’s VERY particular in your timing to get away and still might be not possible ie thieves have what hmm shortbow teleport utility teleport sword teleport and a pull utility shortbow can be spammed up to 3 times making it near impossible to escape them (remember sword tele is also an immobilize so that zerg you were running from is now all trying to stomp you)
Edit: so all you stealth spamming noobs play a class without it for a bit and see how you fare actually requires you know your class ie actual skilled thieves not the blind and stealth spamming ones.

Yea mercury is pretty spot on but I wouldn’t waste my laurels on the t6 bag or karma and I wouldnt chuck my staf in the forge I put over 3000 greatswords of lvl 80 rare and exotic quality in the forge and didnt get dusk or dawn eventually just paid out for dusk and thank goodness i did b4 it hit then 900g mark 702g ftw but I would say yes any lingering dungeon relics for cof coe hotw and arah trade for the rare weapons/armor and salvage for ecto plus hey you get roughly 60 per path per day and 1g I’d do a few of them here and there but do other things too or you will get burned out the legend I would wait to craft because i don’t think it’s going down anytime soon because of bifrost aesthetic upgrade

Crafting level is per character, not account.
I don’t want to be discouraging, but trying to craft a Legendary while playing the limited amount of time you are indicating and with might be a biting off more than you want to chew. Do you even have a LVL 80 with full RARE gear yet?
On the Karma issue….if you haven’t been saving your Karma to this point, you picked a BAD time to start wanting to farm it. The Devs have recently made quite a number of changes that is designed to make Karma more “valuable” and less easy to obtain quickly.
I have 3 level 80’s all with full exotic gear….
and I do play alot, just in short bursts, easily 5 hours a day.
It is just broken up over a day.
I know this is going to take months to achieve, I guess il save the shards for last, I used the 119 shards I had to make 30 clovers.
Oh and on my main (guardian) I already have map completion.
save the shards for gift of mastery last stay working on clovers because even if they fail in giving a clover they give you t6 and sometimes lodestones that can be sold or needed for your legendary after clovers then I would say go for the twilights case gift of metal then gift of mastery(gift of exploration bloodstone shard 250 obsidian shards and gift of battle-500 badges of honor-) which I am sure you have because of achievement chests all the while getting the karma for mastery try to do things in areas that will have the best chance at onyx lodestones and or t6 mats that you are still lacking
Edit: fotm is a good choice actually imo I get t6 from there regularly and sometimes at jade maw lodestones mostly onyx lodes and the chests give sometimes lodes or something of value and I’ve been told TA was good for onyx as well I never did it. when i was tired of fotm I did champ farm rotations in frostgorge more t6 and just gold period in my pocket

the disciplines themselves are character HOWEVER the gifts are account bound so you can craft them on any character you have up to that level with said discipline and put them in your bank to transfer or just make it on that character however as I just finished my twilight and am just missing some tier 6 materials for Predator I would recommend making use of all your characters ie for my mystic clovers I used skill point from all my other characters and some from the one I was making it for since I had the 200 skill point bloodstone shard to get did the same with karma because at the time it was seperated now its all together. also karma comes faster than you think as literally 1 month ago I finished my twilight and had 0 karma I have already made 77 mystic clovers and gift of mastery again which is easily another 1 mil karma and am already nearing 200k karma again. if you are taking them time to get the mats and just buying some here and there not all of them you will have the karma just doing events dungeons etc through casual play towards legendary
Yes my main warrior I have a few armor sets for varying glass cannon and brick wall even when I run my toughness set and traits in CM I still get wrecked but outlast my entire team even with most of the mobs hitting me but that comes down to using blocks and endurepain or just timing my dodge rolls to avoid dmg that is the biggest key to surviving making use of your defensive skills because every weapon has at least one some just heal some reflect some block some evade even a glass can live for a long time if they avoid the right dmg at the right times
I agree my last 2 characters for 100 % map completion was just before scarlet and about 2 months b4 that in which both times I saw people in queensdale doing dailies from time to time and people talking and I saw people in frostgorge on the one before scarlet doing champ train at that time embers had been nerfed and no one was in cs so I found people in 2 / 22 maps? give or take I don’t remember exactly how many first sign of life I saw out side of there was a gaurdian that just got downed going up to the gates of arah then a thief came over after I got him up and we were fighting the npc zerg. : P That being said even Fireheart used to have people there but you guys nerfed dungeon rewards so no one really does them now unless they are making a legendary
Is this next update moving more traits around yet again near the last one before you guys start adding in small amounts new traits and skill to work with existing weapons and utilities? and give more versity? or will this be some stuff added if we get a new race? Which in that respect would mean by the end of the year I shall pray for tengu and expect just skills/traits.
well Gaile I want to say something because in my guild we help each other with legendaries and about 3 weeks ago a guildy forwarded me the last 300g i needed to buy dusk (was 702g at the time I bought it) and I don’t want us getting looked at with suspision just saying as I have send gold and high value materials such as lodestones to guildiesbut yea most of us are 5.5k – 11k ap i’m only a lil more than 6k atm
Edit: i just wanted to say something I mean we are all still here but I’d hate for down the road me or they or some of the others get banned because we pull together to finish them as a guildie has main guardian but he fell off to war and has gone back to guard I’m helping him finish jugg for guard and he will send me predator when we finish it too.

those of us that came from GW1 should have gotten more than we did honestly because of the time alone that was invested to get the X number of achivements for hom the fact we had to get the most expensive armor in the game if we wanted 50 of 50 metric ton of titles and some of the most expensive weapons as well I would love to get a Dhuum’s Soul Reaper in gw2(I miss my derv…)
I believe the two races that are popular are Tengu and Largos. Dont really see the appeal with Largos myself tbh. Tengu would be amazing though.

the ability to put your pet down? that would be nice too I would play a ranger for a year to kill pets permanently I would even invest 600 skill points and 3000g 6 million karma 5 stacks of t6 and 250 of all lodestones
