B/c we all know anet just wants you to do kitten longer so you stay in there messed up little fantasy world.. With so much broken atm I am amazed at the praise people are giving them. They need to fix class bugs that have been there from launch and stop the treadmill gear progression they have begun.

And i have tested this to. You don’t have any real chance of getting ectos anymore. I salvaged about 15 rares got 3. That’s a bit steep even for me.

It’s just another carrot on a stick anet is putting out there for us..

B/c a lot of classes have a hard time with them.. just look at ele or mes. It literally takes 3 times the effort of a mes/ele to win against a warrior.. A half decent warrior can easily beat any half decent mes/ele.. hell even some of the top players probably. Really need to relook the traits and regen. 50% more damage while stun… will destroy mes/ele. maybe tone it down to 25% more dam.. regen needs to be toned down to.

If you plan on keepin it this way you need to give us better traits than what is probably coming in this next patch. If all ele is gettin is buff to conj weps…. i am seriously going to laugh. unless auto atk does like 5-7k a hit per every 2 sec then we got problems… ALL classes need to be brought up to Warriors lvl or warriors need to be toned down to the other classes lvl.

As i see it now there is not one match that does not go by where i see 2 warriors runnin cc… and they cc you together. Or there is like 4 warriors on one team and half of them are cc/hammer… crap is so old Anet.. It makes me want to just give up and go somewhere else like Xeph did. You do know other games are on the horizon… I love this game but the SPvP part is so beyond screwed atm.

In this broken meta.. or broken SPvP as it is.. b/c lets face it capture point system is garbage, all i am seeing is Warriors running CC… not a match goes by where I do NOT see at least one pos CC war..

Yet Anet in there infinite wisdom wants diversity.. and most classes are stuck with 1 or 2 builds.. we try to go outside that and it is fail. I wish guardians could dps as well as a cc warrior… would be amazing..

The lag today is terrible. I live in KC with Google fiber and i am not lagging ever. But today HOLY hell the lag is ridiculous. It is even gone as far as to kick me to char select.. wth is going on anet.

And i cannot click on any toon or click on any button on the character select. I have to hit esc then logout from there to even get it to close.. what’s going on Anet! If you are in game don’t log out to swap toons… you will get stuck like me.

I cannot log into any character on the char select screen.

And yet nothing done to address the poor state that ele is in… like someone said b4 lowest hp yet no armor, agies, clones or stealth… forced to go certain lines to litterally not get one shot.. come on Anet do some real work and fix a broken class. We see what you did with warrior, that took a year, now to get the rest of the classes there.

I would like to see them fix ele then make new weps sets.

PvP is not currently designed to have extensible content. There are maps, which we do make. There are runes and sigils, but there are already an overabundance of them. Finally there are skins, which are added usually with every other update, but how you obtain those skins stem from PvE.

There are no features we can just ‘throw people at’ to give you guys more content. We need more infrastructure and more extensible systems, but those are the hardest to design and take the most time to implement. An example would be a completely reworked reward system. Those are the things we’re working on. It’s taking a lot of time and hard work to get there, but the payoff will be worth it.

We will see… it already took on guy a year of grinding to get lvl 70 in spvp… the reward is skins. AND the skins you have to go to PVE for.. i am sorry but that is bs for those that dont want to. WHAT happened to ANets philosophy of if you want to pvp wvw or pve you can without having to do the other.. there was something for everyone now… it is not like that at all. I HAVE to BUY BL keys to open chests.. so my RL money b/c i dont have ANY gold to try and get a skin.. guess what After 200 keys not a single skin. So thats why you will never get a dime of my money again anet.. you need to FIX the system ASAP! Before MORE leave spvp… its already dead enough as it is.

After playing a ele for about 10hrs today in SPvP i see now why it is a weak fookin class. Anet needs to fix it.. Ill be back to ele when it is fixed…

Let’s hope Anet does something to bring back the ele..

Dunno if this has been addressed but umm yeah they look EXACTLY the same as they did b4.. Did yo not fix them and make them larger like you said you would… i play a human and i have a pics of before patch and after compared and nada SAME!

He needs a miracle. HE has let a lot of people down with false hopes… I’m not going to praise him or any Anet employee until they get half of the crap they should have already fixed since day one right.

1. Nothing to strive for.
2. People who get a kitten when they down you and want to /laugh at you.. (annoying)
3. Lack of game types.. ATTENTION ANET I DONT WANT TO CAP POINTS ANYMORE!
4. It takes ENTIRELY way WAY to long to get the gear in here when i can simply WvW same idea now after patch and have the gear i want. (PST Anet … I don’t want to spend over a year in spvp to have lvl 40 lookin CRAP!)
5. Lack of diverse builds. All i see is CC war, HS thief, use to be s ranger now its Power/trap spam 1 ranger. Or its condi… Boring!
6. and yes LACK of Achievement points.. People who PvE for a year get there head/shoulders/hand radiant/hellfire but i as SPvP do not… way to reward your dedicated SPvP base. I had to play catch up and i am STILL behind some people who have 8-10k achiev points already.

Anet needs to fix a lot of other bs b4 they have a “plan” for glory from spvp lol… that is the least of there worries for a dying spvp. O and btw you should all watch the vid in the locked thread guy spreads truth around yet anet locks it… funny.

Get use to it hotjoin heroes will be what they are… rank means jack and kitten.

lol not really, as you imply you must be running squish build.. most thief’s that do that are considerably easy to kill if dealt with right. they have around 12k hp and like less than 1k toughness.. easy to beat if you know HOW to watch for there moves.. catch them as they are comin to you or Shadow step into you and they are done. Usually 1 or 2 good hits they will dis-engage giving you time to re adjust. Just take your time you will win. Thief has the highest skill cap to be effective at. Most thiefs open with 2 on d/d …. that right there will tell you how bad they are. Just be aware of surroundings.

Also if they go invs lay down AOEs

Yeah b/c people cry to much about sword dagger thiefs.. Played well we are unstopable.. even after nerf we still will be… People cant handle it is all it boils down to. O well NERF it anet like you always do I am ready for it… Listen to the QQ when you said you wouldn’t!

The devs have stated time and time again they don’t want to nerf a ability for SPvP and only SPvP b/c then they have to balance around 2 skills rather than one. And b4 long they said it will be as if they are balancing 2 games at once..

They already have trouble balancing one game.. so saying things for only SPvP is absurd. They want to keep that to a min as possible. I just hope CC is toned down some. Then SPvP will be bearable again.

It can be countered but compared to every other class atm, warriors have the easiest time with a lot of things that other classes do not, which makes them a little OP.

Patching the game to take some of that down to be on par with a lot of other classes will balance them. The condi meta is ok, I am use to it specially on my thief. But CC warriors are the only ones i got to take my time with and whittle away or they will just straight up kitten F you.

The Duration NEEDS to be cut down to 1 sec. This is rediculous how warriors can LOCK down someone for a entire fight. I find this kind of play TROLL and Anet needs to do something about it. The runes warriors are using to get stun duration is rediculous. WHEN i am stunned for over 5 seconds and I burn threw 3 stun breaks in one fight.. SOMETHING IS TERRIBLY wrong.. But then again you already broke your own SPvP so guess it does not matter.

YOU need to look into a fix for cc warriors stun duration.. b/c atm it is REALLY really harsh.

It’s impressive how the community can put so much input into this yet the devs posted 2 posts… and not even 1 paragraph long on one. Can we get some more feedback on this? Or is it just not going to happen?

Yeah it’s suppose to be that hard… all I am hearing. Yet time and time again Anet does things LIKE THIS to put in a item LIKE continue coin (infinite) to make money. And if people say it is suppose to be that hard.. No I disagree. For one I think the SAB should be doable by all. BUT it should require more challenge not this 1 hit and you are dead crap. what do i need to get to gear wise to crit for that high on life blast

I can’t remem what post it was in the necro forums, but i saw a post where some guy was saying he could literally 2 shot a thief, when he went into ds and Life Blasted him. That would be sick to run lol

I am looking for a power burst necro that still has some decent survivability for WvW and PvE.. Anyone able to help me out? Or give me some good guide builds.. I usually play Guard but am liking necro. I just don’t want to play Condi necro.

Oh my god I’m pretty mad right now… Zodiac weapons in GW1 were acquired in 2 elite dungeons, and were really nice. At least back then you had to complete challenging content in order to get your weapons.

Also think i shouldn’t have to run tournies to get them. I don’t run a lot of solo Q and i dont have a team.. some of us run hotjoins.. so why punish those that pvp that way.. Tourney already has enough goin for it with cash prizes now if they allow tourney to be the only way to get legendaries ill prob end up just not doin it and sayin I told you so .. b/c anet is how anet is. all about your $$

I think if you got a legendary from PVE it should transfer over as a skin if you wanted. Kinda like the radiant skins now you get form points… I already grinded the kitten out of PvE took 2 months off to do it now i should be able to do it this way. If they want to make legendaries useful in pvp then i should be able to use the skin from pve as well. :p

I find a thief still really good, able to stealth a lot remove condi and still pressure.. just got to know when to go in and when not to is all.

Read all the posts here still think map is fine. Few issues with cannon is all. Other than that people need to be situationally aware.. most are not

After about 6-8hrs of SPvP you are looking for something else to spice it up… If i had TDM or something else it would spice it up as it is.. meh

good map just needs a radius nerf to the cannon and damage reduction. Other than that i think people need to be situationally aware of what is going on around them… I mean seriously… its not bad at all, i rather enjoy it. And that is playing on the guard, necro, theif and warrior. Just got to adapt I wish Anet would just not listen to all the complaining but I am sure they will give in.
