First OP should not create a topic about that class is over powered, only because he don’t have experience in the class he was playing.

Spirit weapon guardian its not good, easy to counter.

Condition guardian its good in 1vs1. After you know how to kite the Renewed Focus with Krait it will be easy to fight.
BUT Condition guards in Conquest are so bad!
After the first engage you don’t have more sustain for battles and you don’t have stability for stomps, condition cleaning, cleave or support.

People just like to complain… in the past people complained to go against team like mini ken, caed, tammy pre-made teams and got smashed by them, they in the primary leadboard positions and you in 200, 300+. Because didnt have enough people to play.

I suppose now that mmr works well, if you are going solo you are playing with people in your skill play level… if you are playing in the group the other team will have mmr to compete. I’m not in a leaderboard, but i have like 80%+ win rate, and i got some cool battles and other good names in the opposite team.

People who cares about the competitive, in the moment don’t look into the leader board.

In my opinion, Anet will try to think out of the box and improve the classes in the part they have gaps. They said this in a interview.

For me the new Guardian specialization will get a Longbow (because of Bow of Truth and guardian lack of long range) and will leave the aspect of supportive, changing the concept of the main Guardian.
Probably this Longbow will have a cool auto ataque speed, skills with a better disengage/mobility.

Now, what i would love in the skills. But maybe something can be OP in the balance, but dreaming…
1. Fast auto atk with a good dmg, third atk swiftness.
2. Shot 3 fire arrows in the target, burn and dmg.
3. Shot an arrow in the target location that create a symbol, dmg and fast immobilize in impact.
4. Shot an burst arrow with extreme dmg, around 1000 1500 base dmg, plus blind.
5. Teleport to the target location, blind foes before teleport, 1200 range.

Guardians will use Longbow, you can write it!

Amazing update in Zealot ’s Flame!

Hope in the future they rework the Cleansing Flame.

In my opinion:

- 45 seconds cooldown
- Cure conditions on allies and yourself.

And it will be in the same level as focus.

When Anet will official answer to this, about one day and I can’t play the new patch.

I tried this (mac OSX)
- Deleted the Local.dat
- I used the cinder configuration file to add the command line -assetsrv
- I tried the command -assetsrv by terminal
- I changed the language of the launcher

And i can’t download the patch.

I’m not expert in WvW but what do you think to test in this event to fortify the keeps and towers a lot (10 to 20 min to drop down walls and gates), only damaged by sieges.
Small groups/guilds will try to get and claim it for buffs and probably defend it for a long time.

Some ideia to try make zergs not viable and make the groups split more.
But I don’t know if this will really work.

What do you think guys?

That 1v1 tournament probably based on a pool of 20 players, so many other good players out there, that would knock em off the list. Like CloudFly from Jade Quarry would own these kids too.

There are other options as well. We could just cancel the match and no one gets ladder credit.

This is the solution. Not fair, not is competitive. You won your honor, track points. But not the ladder’s position.

Yeaa same here…. I play on a very crappy internet and PC, hopefully arenanet can tell if its DC or rage quit. Like giving 5 min to come back would be reasonable, that’s what it takes to reset the PC and stuff.

This will fix many things! I returned to do ranked solo after months this week, and in 10 matches I did, 90% had quitters and people afk.

Who are talking about the time to accept the match, I believe you are the people that start our matches AFK. I always wait for the queue in the lobby because i care to enter the match fast and see what is going on and what build I’ll use.

I agree with the accept time for the match be short.

This topic is fun! I really enjoy the people reaction, specially the full PVE guys.

The PVP Duel is the option for Gw2, We don’t have factions.

Who wants duel are not happy with WvW system (Its like PVE players farming points, don’t need complete individual skill, only the commander need.)

Making the duel option probably we will fight only people who want to fight, maybe people will choose a location to do the duels. Megaserver will help on this because we always will find people to fight in that location.

And other thing… If we have AP and Titles for many of Duels wins. Ill see many full PVE players doing it ahahaha they will not lost their precious AP.

As I reply in other post, using the Anet concept of community.
I think Duel option is the best option for Gw2

Hey guys, I come here to express my opinion about the Guildwars2 nowadays.
Have many topics about this, but Anet need to see a lot of this to start think about what they are doing with the game.
I always talking with guild mates and friends in Gw2 and all the people are still thinking the same things about the game, so I believe the community its thinking the same, and now reading the forums i can see it better.

The thing I really love in Guildwars2 is the combat system. I want to stay in this game, but I need the Anet to work better in their content.

I’ll resume some topics about improvement here.

Gemstore
- This game its now about money(real money) and luck.
- New Gem trade system is a fail.
- Skins and outfits, black lion box. I understand how Anet want to work with them. Its good in the moment. But they need to improve the PVE reward system, make more account bound items that you can farm only in PVE and you need work hard to get them. Making the people stay in the game and have more objectives for a long time.

PVE
- I want to see how Raids will be. I’m excited for this.
- With raids, its time to work the reward system in PVE to be more solid and not about lucky.
- Precursor crafting, this should have happened!
- Hall of monuments its a good idea to work again in GW2.
- Pets in GW2 are useless, they are only of achievement, and you pay for them. You don’t need to hunt them (with this you have more content for players). But i think Anet will never change this.
- 3 years of game, and Anet didn’t open this map, Will I need to wait 5 or 10 years to see the crystal desert?

Competitive
PVP
For me its good in the moment but
You can create more maps.
Work in the hot join system, people leaving teams and manipulating the team composition to win its not good.
sPVP and tPVP is good for me in the moment.

WvW
- This its the worst thing for me until now.
- Play for points its not competitive. Its like a PVE farm, but we farm points.
- Many of my guild mates (50% of the guild) moved to ARCHAGE only because in the endgame Guilds have more competition. And you can kill other players in the game. And Archage have a worst combat system than Guildwars2.
- I saw many competitive guilds of Guildwars2 moving to Archage too.
- You’ll say that its all about community working together to win. Wtf! I want to kill, not points and rewards in the end of the season. In a game called Guildwars I don’t see guilds fighting each other.
- Maybe its time to come back with the Gw1 GvG or complete rework the Guildwars2 WvW. You should work your maths to remove the zerg from the game. I’ll prefer to defend a tower for 15, 30 minutes from other guild and not do a PvD, get the lord and run to the next tower, in this eternal cycle, its boring. Sometimes we play WvW for hours to get a nice fight.
- And Roaming solo in WvW, I will not even comment, You get huge outnumbered or zerged all the time.

The most troubling I have noticed is how new players come into my guild and a few months since completing your goals and do not believe they have more to do and leave the Guildwars to go to other games.
I want to see other players opinion too. Hope my tips help too.

Resume: Anet, you need to inspire in Gw1 and you’ll be good!

Yes, how many times I saw an enemy fleeing away from me in a combat and I couldn’t get him.

But if you look in the traits i suggest to rework, its the same standard of the other classes.
And If we want to use them we will open the hand for other good traits in the currently guardian builds we know, making more diversification.

I suggest to rework this traits for a better mobility for our guardians. Its the only problem for me during this 2 years of gameplay.

- Change this major trait “Retaliatory Subconscious” for a trait like this:

Gain 25% movement speed when you have a virtue in passive mode.

- Change this minor trait “Courageos Return” for a trait like this:

Gain swiftness when you gain retaliation.

Hope you enjoy my suggestion, I never used Retaliatory Subconscious and for me Courageos Return is useless.

I hope that Anet return with more skins of halloween.
