It’s funny how you keep saying you are a nice guy, and brag about tricking / griefing other players.
I never gamble when I don’t know the odds or can not afford to lose my bet
ok dont mind me I was jsut confused with the fort outside LA… maybe I AM too old for computer games after all.
So he is in Fort Trinity… but how do I get there?
tried so swim from LA no luck
tried from kessex Hills, no joy
Where’s the entrance?
Thanks!
Interesting post which is of course to consider as valid for dps vs a single stationary target.
In wvw the scepter remains inefficient in my experience.
I am referring to the gold star next to a players name which I am told marks them as having achieved 100% world exploration.
In Wvw, the star is visible if they are in range no matter how many obstacles ar in the way, be it a gate, a wall or a mountain.
This is very detrimental for the one who has the star, and his team.
Thieves not rendering got my vote… going from 100% to 20% to an invisible foe = broken
The only pet I have is the bird procced by the pirate runes, and I have to say I Love IT!
Nothing like a mad parrot attacking everything that is less than a mile away like a blood hungry berserker to make a boring harvesting trip into an interesting “keep up with my bird, and stay alive” expedition.
Highly recommended!
let’s hope all these bot reports are acted on, it is very detrimental to the game to have these zombies running around.
This is the one major issue I have with the trading post, please implement it!
problem at the moment is Cursed Shore being the only 80 zone, it’s overcrowded.
besides it’s not fun to farm the same events all the time.
The downscalling doesn’t really work for me…
- it’s too easy once geared and traited
- the reward doesn’t scale to lvl 80 yet getting there still costs the same (3 silver waypoint to get lvl 20 rewards? no thanks)
Would be nice to have a parallel lvl 80 version of the world where you could go to any map and fight at level.
There are many maps I haven explored while levelling, and this would give me a good opportunity to travel around and explore, discovering stories and events as I go. This is one of the strong points of this game and would extend the interest of playing a lvl 80.
At this point I feel compelled to level alts because:
- I don’t like the dungeons
- Wvw is dead this week as our server is matched in a lower tier which it completely ridiculously dominates
- I am sick of cursed Shores ugliness, tedium, bugs and bots
I run with +100 od mf and havent got a single rare in 2 hours of doing events. Used to be better than that, maybe it’s just a bad streak.
reward fix much needed. especially after dragging myself through Arah (which I hated)… quite the anti climax!
yay you saved the world!
here’s your 3 vendor trash loot and a couple of flame rams!
no, no cookie… we’ve run out sorry,.
Like some said, you’re never too old for gaming. My grand father, who recently passed away at 99, never thought he was. Sure it wasn’t computer games, but that’s just a generation thing.
The story I thought started nicely, tried a bit of human, asura, and finished the Norn one. But it all goes downhill when you join the Trinity or what it called and start working for this clueless Trahearn. That’s when I switched off, and lsot interest for the most part.
As much as stories in game can be naive and predictable, sometimes I still get into it. Mass Effect2 is one, KOTOR is another. Ok not MMOs per say…
And yes it is always a good time to pick up an Isac Asimov, I am seriously considering a pilgrimage to the Foundations myself.
On my server the first 2 maps of orr are deserted. The last one has a bunch of people repeating the same 3-4 events ad nauseam. Near impossible to find people to do anything else.
The zone is ugly (yes I know, opinions), painfull to navigate, crowded with more ugly stupid mobs I am forced to fight to get from A to B.
General design of the zone feels all wrong, this is my biggest disapointment with the game so far.
I’d like to see better designed chained events, that actually make sense.
I’d like to fight in areas with different scenery, not the same nightmarish dull place all the time.. heck when I first got there I thought .. “oh no they did it again, the lets make it an undead ugly as place to convey a sense of epicness high level syndrome”…
I can’t see my guildmates on the map unless they are in my group.
We typically run with 2-3 guild groups, sometimes more, and it would be a really good, if basic feature to have.
I know there’s commanders… but having to pay the fee x however many commanders are required to have one on at all times just so you can see your guild on the map doesnt make sense.
Could this simple feature be considered?
Would be really good if this Server kitten stroking had its dedicated forum
I had the same observation, healing doesn’t seem to do anything towards rewards in events. That’s very disapointing.

After doing AC and CM story mode I’d say that the problem is that the trash in AC is overtuned for a first dungeon. The bosses didn’t cause any major issues, even seemed easy compared to a trash pull, quite the opposite to what I’d expect (easier trash, harder bosses)
If there is a way to pull 1 trash or 2 at a time instead of groups of 3 I’d be really keen to find out. As it was, we were focusing targets, and I had multiple condition removers, and still could get 2 shot on random pulls.
