We do it after every GvG, it’s a tradition. Normally we wipe to the spectators + guild we just fought, but this time we won. We consider it more bags for the victor, I guess.

It was a joke, more than anything, though. I hope that no one took it seriously.

It was taken fairly seriously. I’ve been to many fight nights and participated in a few. I’ve never seen anyone rush the spectators -only ever seen everyone bow to one another and head out to fight.

I was the EK guard that hit the dolyak on accident. For that I apologise.. meant to hit W but hit 2. My sincere apologies for that.

I do not like the path they are going with this stat bump for this wvw ability. Every other ability is very situational this one is global and affects individual player’s stats. Don’t say well you have to go kill guards first because we all know that the guards are a joke. This ability should only allow you to kill the guards or protect you from the guards more not other players.

Despite some peoples unwarranted expectations I think we will finish about 100k points behind SoS which is exactly what we did for two months. Yes CD’s attendance is down this week but ghose of us out there are doing the best we can.

I did exactly that. I turned and went out another exit. But then I enjoy WvW and don’t care how many times I die.

If, however, I was a casual or new to WvW I would get super frustrated and possibly not come back.

SoR did, in fact spawn camp TC with balis and arrowcarts. EP must have been on break back in January when it was going on and we drew SoR three weeks running. Why would I make it up?

I know that guilds have transferred out to other servers. Hey, it happened and it’ll probably happen again -and not just to CD. What does every other server do? They evaluate, adapt and overcome. CD will do the same.

We had a lower than usual turn out right out of the gate on reset. More than likely because a LOT Of people pulled extra hours to gain the wins two weeks in a row. I’ll be the last one to condemn them for needing to rest/recover. Why? Because that’s what people do when they really, really want something -make sacrifices.

I’ll step up to the plate and let y’all know that when I saw the comment ‘learn from us, CD’ it smacked of condescension -and I know it wasn’t meant to come across that way because I was on TC. Now imagine if it came across that way to someone who knows TC? How did it come across to people that don’t know y’all?

I’ve seen fewer and fewer people log in to WvW during this match-up. Why? Ohhh I don’t know, perhaps because of the venom that is going on here in this thread. Or maybe it’s because of getting spawn camped -something I NEVER thought I would see TC do. What happened to the cardinal rule that TC does not do that. I distinctly recall how miserable it was when TC got spawn camped by SoR and how we swore we would never do such a thing. Oh wait, I’m sorry. Y’all were bored. That makes it okay, right? 0.0

Just like TC had a much lower WvW turn out than usual when they went up against SoR, we have a much lower turn out against two servers that have ratings that are a lot higher than we do. No one likes to lose by over 100K points -and this was on the third day of the match. I don’t care HOW good you are or how much you enjoy WvW it’s soul crushing. Sure, some of us are hardcore (dumb?) enough to keep showing up. Maybe we’re masochists. Who knows. But we still come out so we can get our daily face rolling

I guess my point in all of this? Stop with the digs and and saying things like you are looking down at us because we have ‘given up’ It’s unnecessary. You aren’t on CD, nor do you know us so you really have some cheek to make that judgement. That goes both ways… to my fellow CDers as well. I know it’s been a long and frustrating week when something is said that seems unusually harsh let’s just turn the other cheek, ok. But remember this: we’ll be better WvWers because of it. Because we’ll learn and we’ll continue with WvW training.

Everyone on CD: We knew we are/were in no way, shape or form ready for a Tier 2 match up. But we got it. Let’s start showing up and, yes, learning off our mistakes.

I’ve moved home to the server that I started out on (CD- for reasons of my own) and as much as I love WvW? I, personally, haven’t been going in. Why? Because it’d stupid of me to when you guys run three golems to take towers whilst we only have 9-10 on the map.

Shortly after TC took FA’s keep on EB, we paid FA’s spawn a visit. That wasn’t cool, and I helped convince our commander to leave this area. Of course, the 60-man TC zerg wiped us as we tried to leave, so we got our come-up-ins.

Tkitten TC zerg is big enough to take most of the map, so we’re a little lucky that we have the siege bug.

DB’s newest commander, aka the traitor, aka joffrey lannister, is fairly hated by FA at the moment. One of our other commanders filled the gap, king joffrey left, and took control with simplistic clarity, troll SMC, and kill DBs newest addition.

I don’t mind server transfers, but going to another server in the same tier is lame.

I don’t really have a huge problem with server transfers either. But I totally agree with this. Did the guilds that moved to DB from FA dislike FA that much? I don’t get it.

In any case.. I do have to say that I’ve noticed a marked improvement in FA’s attitude (?) since the change and at the end of the day, as someone correctly pointed out earlier in this thread, this is a game and I’m glad to see that FA is having fun again.

What is nice work? is that TC has not given up and we just keep taking our stuff back. Outmanned and everything. And we’re still having fun <3

Honestly though, once we settle out of first place, that’s where the magic really happens on TC. The fun starts, the good attitudes show up, the real fighting happens. First place lends itself to snarkiness (in game and forums) and boredom. Then the fairweathers flee when we have a changeup (like ths DB entry)….and the cycle repeats.
I don’t personally want, or care, about 1st place. I just want fun. If we lose the matchup and we have fun…so be it. Of course winning is fun too, in its own right, but I don’t think you have to be in 1st place to have fun. The first couple weeks of the KN/FA/TC matchup was perfect, imho. Each server kinda had its own time of day that they would dominate, so no one got disheartened.

I doubt there is any 2vs1 KN+TC VS FA but I believe the old CD crew that moved from there to either KN or TC remember how FA and ioj were 2vs1 CD in T3 to deny CD T2 ranking up to the point that the ioj guilds transfered to FA not to fall a tier lower. These CD old players that plays now in KN are more likely focusing FA (like I do) than TC, like I guess old CD crew that plays in TC are more likely focusing FA than KN for the obvious same reason. It’s all personnal choice but no official agreement between every players from two servers…

You speak the truth. I, too, am a former CD player and well remember FA double teaming us with IoJ. Perhaps that is why they accuse my new home (TC.. wonderful place, awesome people with great attitudes) of double teaming with KN. When one is guilty of a specific behaviour, one tends to project on to others.

Truth is? TC is not double teaming with anyone about anything. We go out there and fight our butts off with some really great commanders. We have fun. Perhaps y’all should take a page from our book, FA, and quit being so nasty in the meantime?

I have to say that there’s nothing and I mean NOTHING better than being in a guild that actually has people on when you log in and they greet you. For so long I have been in guild and been the only one that was active.

We are a warm, friendly group of people that cut up (even if I am forced to hide my chocolate sometimes!). But seriously, I never log in and think to myself.. ‘gees, I’m bored, maybe it’s time to find another game.’ anymore.

And we do everything as has been mentioned in the previous comments. C’mon, take a walk on the wild side with us!

I’m having the same problem as many have described here. I have lost about 200 points. Last time this happened I lost 600 points and they only restored 300. Why should I play my butt off to unlock achievements if Anet continue to screw them up.

I’ve lost all kinds of weapon mastery skills. and down 250 achievement points (roughly).. They may not ‘mean anything’ but I earned those points and thoroughly dislike losing them constantly.

1) laying around dead <— get rid of it
2) lose jp and PvE elements from a PvP map. annoying to no end when you are trying to save a keep and people junk up map chat whinging for help with it.
3) allow auto looting. I’ve lost more loot bags because I get roflstomped before I can pick it up.

as always , fix the culling. it’s getting so bad that I have cut my WvW time to less than half of what I used to do.

Why not simply remove the random mobs and PvE events from WvW servers? That would save a lot of server space in and of its self. There is no reason to have random PvE in a PvP environment.

By removing the 100+ random mobs that have no purpose at all that would have to give Anet some additional resources and use those extra resources to reduce issues with player rendering.

I am only talking about the random mosquito and trash mobs that just sit there all day taking up resources that could be better allocated to the primary purpose of the server PvP.
