The scepter Orb moves to slow and hits nothing in PvP / WvW. You can spam 100 Orbs into an enemy Zerg and get 2 hits out of them.

The orb coould at least have some intelligence and try to hit the target, not 100% but at least it could change its direction a little when the target moves.

I saw nasty Orb shots right into the sky when a NPC or player moved. Or the Ranger Bow principle should work on the orb, at least 20-30% of the orbs would hit if the orb moved faster.

Atm Scepter is completly useless in WvW it doesnt hit anything, not from a Wall not in a Zerg. Its so slow that even a 80 year old grandfather player could dodge roll the orbs.

The Orb needs some extras like a Chill, Condition damage or whatever too. Its the most boring attack in GW 2 so far.

In addition the Orb would be better with 1300-1500 range consdiering it hits nothing anyways.

I dont understand why guildwars only uses Ranges 300, 600, 900, 1200 and 1500 thats completly strange and mysterious to me. Looks like strict math to me without any freedom or dynamic.

Why not also 500, 800, 1300 , 1400 Range ???

Classic MMORPG Quest Type / i miss it in GW 2

I just miss the classic type of quests.

> Kill NPC XYZ
> Kill 20 Rats
> Collect 10 Roots of XXXX
> Epic quest line
> Small Sidequests

The dynamic Quest system is good but in addition i miss the old Quest system.

I miss to have a classic “To do List” when i log into the game.

I would love to have 10-20 Quests to finish when i log in instead of roaming around looking for Events in form of Circles on the map.

Play an elementalist and you get 20.

i started a elem. i got bored by the slow attack speed on all basic auto weapon skills…

to slow for me at least at start and thats what counts, if the class plays faster later, nice for it. i dont have the patience anymore to level to 50 until my class is fun..

I miss the classic HOTBARs with 4x 10 = 40 Hotkeys and lots of skills to use. GW2 is extremly limited when it comes to flexible skill use. Weapon change doesnt fix that.

See Vanguard, Everquest, WoW, AoC, Warhammer, Rift etc etc etc thats how it has to be…. 20-50 Hotkeys filled with nice skills that give me the possibility to play my characters in 99999 different ways. In GW2 theres only 1 way to play a class… yea maybe a 2nd after weapon change.

Pressing 1-5 + some Utilities starts to become extremly dull.

at least let us configurate the hotkeys with the skills we want..

One weapon has the Illusion summon on 4 the other on 3 another on 5, why cant we configurate our skill keys better ? i want all Illusions on 4 for example and not on another key with every weapon change.

The other weapon has the AoE on 2 then the other on 4 and another on 5 ….. my goodness let me put all AoEs on 4 or whatever i prefer.

i dont know what the designer of these skill trees thought, but i dont like it.

Around level 20-30+ i am getting bored on all my characters pressing 1-5 + 6-0 …

Nice grafic and dynamic game but the combat Skill system and the 5 Attacks we can use is to less to keep me interested.

The GUI in GW 2 is horrible and the few skills we can use are over the long term, uninteresting……

Just put an end to the Blinking thiefs i have never seen a mmorpg where a rogue/thief can re-stealth free will every half second and laugh at their enemies inbetween.

2-5 seconds for a re-stealth should do it.

time to fix this !

5+ Level 80 players to kill one thief that can stealth every second is to much. It might be fun for the Thief player but its an insult to 5 other level 80 players that cant kill because hes stealthed as he likes. 5+ players leveled their characters to level 80 to find out that one class can destroy them all at once ?

I just watched exactly this scenario from the walls of a keep, the Thief was popping in and out of Stealth every moment, 5+ players tried to kill him while he did insane damage to them.

I would suggest a stealth cooldown of minimum 2-3 seconds and a removal of this CLICK to Stealth at will Asap.

2-3 seconds after last Stealth should balance the things out.

Best if they introduce this Cooldown to perma stealth thiefs in the next few days.

p.s i dont care how you OPed thiefs cry, once you found out how to do it, your way to OP and that needs a fix asap. whining ,crying or suiciding doesnt matter.

Since this is the only weapon left that is somehow useable as Mesmer, please remove this strange Range damage restrictions. Give it one Damage for all ranges and good.

Why should i do more damage to a mob further away than closer ? thats against the rules of Physics anyway. That might work for Arrows but not for Rays which spread the further they are.

GS sends out a Beam right ? then it should do more damage on close range and less on far targets. The developers showed here that they havent understood simples Physical rules.

Remove all these stupid Range X Range Y damage numbers and replace with one static

why does every other game lock skills when out of range, why not GW 2 ? Why do we have to wait a full cooldown when a skill was cast out of range ? wouldnt 1-2 sec lockdown be enough ? NOOOO !!! Guild Wars 2 lets the player wait the full time until he can use the skill again.

its unbelievable how many flaws this game has. The longer i play this game the more things i find that i hate, yes, not just dont like, its hate, like this OUT OF RANGE issue.

On my Mesmer, Ranger etc etc i usually see more “Obstructed” “Out of Range” than anything else.

If a target isn’t in range lock the skills please i don’t want to wait a full cooldown!

Kopi, i guess you did not understand what i am asking for.

Keybinds doesnt help with a configuratable mouse after weapon swapping i might want another skill on a certain mouse key. I dont want to

i cant reconfigurate the mouse every time i swap a weapon or change to another character.

Why this game has no standard traditional HOTKEY Bars like any other mmorpg is a myth to me anyways. i honestly hate the whole GUI of this game compared to other games its unflexible and static.

Hello,

i want to be able to exchange the skills on my Hotbar.

I have a Logitech Mouse with many buttons which i use for the Keys 1-5

The problem is that when changing weapons skills i dont want on certain keys cant be changed.

If we could Move the Skills from 0-9 to other keys then i could use one Mouse/Keyboard setup.

I know these are skills chains but once opened all 5 let us swap them please included the Utilities and Elite skill

in Short all Hotkeys should be configurateable as i want them

In WvW i take 95% more damage from AoE and whatall then i do with my Ranger shooting arrows.

The damage output of my Bows is often to low to finish off dieing players. The Lonbow is to slow and the Range restrictions of the Lonbow just suck. The shortbow shots fast but does laughable damage to the most classes. When i start to attack a Warrior, Guardian and hit them for 600-800 their HP bar doesnt move. In addition most of my arrows just get blocked as if Juck Norris would be back.

Everything is Evading, Obstructered, I nvincible or Out of Range. The arrows move to slow and so they are missing 90% of my WvW time.

Its no fun to get a few shots off then die in an AoE massacre or by whirling AoE fighters that are invicible.

My pet is perma dead. i hate my pet in WvW , i would like to kill the pet myself because they are contributing nothing to PvP and only cause frustrations. Until the pets reach the target they are dead. Stupid Pet AI and horrible Pet pathing are the reasons. The pets run ZigZag instead a straight line……

My Ranger is at 2200+ Precicion, 60% crit chance and 2200+ attack Power

my ShortBow has 800-931 dmg rating and i hit for laughable 300-600 damage with it. if i use piercing arrows sometimes on squishies i hit for 900 dmg. If i have a L80 Bow with 1000dmg it wouldnt change much, maybe +50 dmg…

The fun is that with this low damage i cant kill anyone……. The mellee skills all completly suck for every mellee weapon. Axes are to weak 1 vs 1 and the 1h sword does more damage than the 2 hander because of its faster speed. easy to test for everyone…

i think all the Ranger skills are crappy designed, i have to switch traits all time in WvW from Longbow to shortbow because of the 1500 Range. Why in gods name cant this Range trait not affect both Bows ? I am so tired of altering my traits during combat.

The signets, spirits and all the just mixed up skills for rangers are fail design. From all Ranger skills i only use 10% the rest is useless either because of endless Cooldowns or because another skill is better.

My Ranger is L78 and i quit playing him in WvW until the class is fixed. I can only use him to farm cash for AltĀ“s in PvE not more not less….

I started a mesmer, necro and guardian and i surprised how many options these classes get compared to the completly fail designed Ranger.

Its just sad for the 78 Levels and the time i wasted for the Ranger and i hope they improve this class really soon….

as L62 (all yellow gear) Ranger my WvW Experience is basicaly pretty simple:

> Shortbow is to weak and only has 1200 range and is missing everything

> Longbow has 1500 (traited) Range but is to slow and hits nothing its dissapointing to use it.

a 10 sec LOG of Ranger PvP combat

Miss, Miss, Miss, Miss, Miss and Miss
Obstructed, Obstructed, Obstructed even if theres nothing in the way
Invalunerable……… it seems every class has this but Rangers

80-90 % of my arrows get lost and hit nothing if they hit then they do no damage at all.

if lucky i see > You hit for 535 youhit for 230 but usually enemies Dissapear before their dead or laugh about it.

Thiefs eliminate me in 3 seconds and other classes maybe need 5-10 seconds

i have ZERO escape utility only 2 run buffs (which i have to use all time)

AH ! I have a Pet ! well its always dead, to slow, F2 doesnt work, Its honestly a waste. The Ranger pet in PvP contributes nothing to the class.

Usually i ignore the pet in PvP best if they remove it from the Ranger class in PvP and give us a Buff instead.

IN SHORT > Rangers are completly useless in PvP as they are right now every other class can do better job.

Ah yes ! i see the repair guy all time “Great Fix me Up!” 1-2 silver gone

PVE Rangers are ok but in PvP Rangers are replaceable by every other class

Rangers need urgend help, best if the whole class gets a redesign
