It’s a picture of a TC Zerg…what’s your point? Mine was that SoR and BG have near 24hour coverage and mega blob. We zerg too, but most the time not nearly with as many numbers as you guys do.
No, you were saying that you have never seen other servers say the same thing about TC. My point is that they do. Also, that your server can put out the same amount of numbers if they wanted to.
But no where in the chat log does it show them complaining about our numbers/coverage so that picture really doesn’t say much.
And I gotta disagree with you. TC is a full server for sure, but there are only a few dedicated WvW’ers, and we don’t have the Oceanic coverage. Not complaining about it, in fact I’m hoping this helps us jump back down to tier 2.

Super blobs? funny cuz we all know u blob harder then everyone but SoR, its ok when your super blobs are crushing DB and FA and SoS but when your blobs are matched in size its a problem?
Not once have I gone into a blob fight (on the TC map) and ever had more people in our zerg then those in SoR and BG so not sure what fantasy your livin in lol

You’re aware that PC configuration has jack squat to do with skill lag in zerg fights, right? There’s this thing called latency. Google it up sometime.

mmm not really, When JQ was in there with us it was a blast, and we lost..but it was still a blast. At least with JQ fights still require skill of actually abilities, and not the skill of trying to maneuver the massive lag fights. If it were up to me, TC would be tier 2 with JQ and FA that week was a blast!

Yea I’m going to have to agree that there are far too many spiders being spawned on this particular boss. This definitely needs the nerf stick taken to it. I mean unless the goal is for the majority of players to avoid doing this path (and most will after experiencing it) it doesn’t make sense to have content aimed at making your players hate and avoid it.
To be honest I’m kinda surprised BG and SoR are trying to recruit more people to their servers. Fights with yall suck (purely from a lag perspective) and I much more enjoy our battles with JQ and FA (even though JQ can get a lil bloby at times too) where skills don’t take a few seconds to go off. Adding more bodies to your megablobs would only make fights with you two more unbearable lol.
In the past I’ve considered moving to BG because I wanted to be in “tier 1”, but now that I got a taste of what the fights are like noooo thank you. I’m happy with TC and not having giant blob masses clashing. We get a few good numbers now and then, but the majority of our teams are pretty tame and don’t cause massive skill lags.
If I were on BG or SoR I’d be trying to transfer out rather than recruit >.<
BG…I want to have your babies now. SoR has held Hills in TCBL since the match started and yall finally managed to take it tonight! And I’m not picking sides per say, just happy that now all 3 sides have had their Keeps reset.
Impressive megablob of SoR on TCbl… it was nicer when you were in separate groups that could be fought without lag. Shame y’all have to fall back on map zergz to get things done.

Yea and sorry that our TC commanders seem fixated on Bay and ignore Hills. If I had a command tag I’d be going after the server in the lead, and the one that still has all its upgrades. But alas, not a commander and so it seems we will be ignoring SoR on TCBL.
Psst Blackgate in TCBL, doesn’t the upgraded Hills Keep look delicious! It would be quite the coincidence if it was attacked from the south and north simultaneously wouldant ya say!?
I already miss last weeks matchup. While JQ had some pretty large zergs, SoR and BG teamup on our Gari on TCBL made skill lag insane. No wonder JQ was happy to be rid of you two >.< skill lag fights are definitely not fun.

@ FA I think you guys did pretty fantastic considering your the least populated server of the three of us. I seen your BL painted blue a few times, and saw you press into TCBL and JQBL very aggressively. Well done guys! And kitten you for killing those poor yaks
@JQ Was great facing up against you, RATS in TCBL was a blast! And while I’m not a fan of playing 60+man zerg vs 40man zerg, it was nice to push our capabilities to their limits against a larger force.
@ TC good job guys, for being heavily outnumbered for most hours of the day we did a fantastic job of holding our own. Our commanders did a great job at responding to zerg pushes in sister maps and had a great time hearing them in mumble.
Sounds like you were following an inexperienced commander that didn’t know what to do or have the confidence to execute something like what you are describing. Needless to say there are plenty of commanders in TC that know what they are doing. Don’t blanket all of TC based off of one inexperienced commander. Everything rises and falls on leadership (Like Bay) that commander could end up being a very successful commander in the future and helping them to be one is of the utmost importance far above anything else. TC is far from the garbage you make it out to be and we didn’t make it to rank 4 overnight.
Hazing a commander is the worst possible thing you can do and while people do it that commander receives zero positive feedback making absolutely sure that they learn little to nothing.
Your right and I apologize to the other commanders, I shouldn’t have made a blanket statement. And the commander prior to the bay attack was doing well, it’s just frustrating when you try to help them and get ignored.
Being a commander myself, it is very difficult to manage the massive amount of information being relayed to you. It is quite possible that the commander simply did not notice your message and may not have intentionally ignored you at all.
I know He heard me in vent, but I guess he was just overwhelmed with the siege. I’ll try and stress the importance of changing strat more clearly and constructively next time.
That cmmdr only popped his tag because there was nobody else available. We (RE) tried to help him as best as we could in that situation. I understand your frustrations, but, in the end, we lost Bay to repeated pushes by JQ. Though, it’s worth pointing out it took them over 3 hours to do so.
Yea he did well, and I was surprised at how long it took JQ to take Bay from us. I did manage to pull one of (RE) commanders aside and show him where I was trying to get everyone to hit the Trebs just now. I thanked him for listening and I hope the spot helps with defending bay in the future.

Good Job JQ with taking TCBL bay keep. Evidently I was the only player on our map who knew you could hit your trebs at brair tower from the north side. I suggested to our commander that instead of wall hugging and waiting for the inevitable, we get a small group to AOE your trebs down. But alas that didn’t fall under the “hulk smash” strategy as precision strikes are far too complex for our realm to execute.
Weren’t you going to PvE this week? Hey, if its that tough being on TC, most of the servers are at “Very High” status so feel free to transfer over. CoF is still profitable you know? We’ll surely give you a grand send-off with a Nobel Prize for being the smartest D*ckhead around.

Heck, you whined the moment you got to know that it isn’t easy week right at the reset. And you said it right – strategy works sometimes, sometimes it doesn’t. Saying “heck we could’ve done things better” is a lot different and more effecitve than “you guys suck, I’m the only kitten around”. And no, you aren’t. You’re a sore loser. And you belong doing rounds in PvE around those dragons that don’t hit you back. Hey, Anet is even giving away free badges for almost everything now so you don’t really have to WvW anymore!
I could criticize in a “nicer way” sure. But not after telling the commander how to improve and then them not taking said advice. After the outer wall fell, I was joined by 2 members of his guild, we took down the 3 trebs, but at that point the accomplishment was moot. Had he taken my advice before the wall fell we might not have lost the keep.

Nobody on TC or any server cares about that stuff as much as they care about the attitude a player brings with one’s self. Glad TC wanted this match up with JQ. My guess is by Monday that’s all you’re going to be fighting. FA struggles keeping our keeps in T2 SEA. With this match up no one is going to upgrade a keep ever. We were outmanned in our own BL 5 hours into reset, so yay hope you like each others cookies cause we all out!
Well here is to hoping this week goes by fast, gonna keep out of WvW for the most part. I don’t mind losing to skill, but losing to numbers is just boring and I would rather PVE and gather monies for next weeks match.
I think FA and TC should call truce and focus on JQ, and before people cry about how unfair this would be..so is the population difference between JQ and the other 2. It would meerly just even out stuff
Well I did feel for CD for being dominated this week but that feeling is now changed to I’m glad were whipping their kitten Because camping EB puzzle is really kittenin annoying. It was my fault for not attacking CD on sight, but I figured it was a spot that everyone agrees they want to just do it and get it over with
Amazing first night, TC held a lot and fought tooth and nail to keep it. And as a previous post stated were not trying to shut anyone out, but knowing we don’t have 24/7 coverage we like to take as much as we can while we can.
At around 6am PST either CD got a huge flux of bodies or TC lost a huge number of bodies because we started to lose ground in CD home realm (but put up one hell of a fight in defense!) and CD started hitting our home BL pretty hard too.
Over all good night though, can’t wait to see where we are when I wake up. Time for bed though, WAY past bedtime.
WvW has become flavor of the week. Everyone picks a server and xfers there and boom they win a couple weeks. Then after a few wins they will lose one week then starts the mass exodus. Ask Henge of Denravi what that’s like. They were in like the top 3 then came the giant sucking vacuum and WHOOSH.
Servers need to be set in stone for longer than a week. A month at minimum. There is no need to be server hopping even once a week it’s ridiculous. How can people not know where their friends are? Do they even talk to them before they install the game to find out what server they’re on?
Agreed Server transfers need to be limited to once a month if not longer. And I’m not buying into the whole “so people can find their friends” bs. The game has been out for some time now. If people aren’t with their friends now..they never will be.

So not really the same. Get off your high horse and stop painting us as being idiots who bash their heads against SoR’s fortified walls and who live in a world filled with rainbows. We’re not deluded. We KNOW that we aren’t going to win. And we have already stated that we continue to play anyway. Unless you’re somehow more perceptive than us.

Public forums are public. Unfortunately for you I like to voice my opinion. Fortunately for you there is an ignore button that you can use at anytime to ignore my opinions. I like to actively participate in forum discussion regardless of if my opinion is wanted or not.
I also read every post made in our threads, and I’ve seen others share my point of view. So I know I’m not alone in how I think. Sure there might be disgruntled people like you who think your opinion should be the only one heard and no one should argue with it. shrug
I know I’m not alone in saying some of us will be avoiding WvW until next weeks match up.
I’ve never claimed to have the “never surrender, never give up” mentality. I’m a pessimistic realist, and while this attitude won’t win me points in the popularity contest, I see things for what they are.
We are not going to win. That much is evident. So this gives me the option of either playing for “fun” and by fun I mean repair bills with little to nothing to show for it on the map. Or I can level alts, make money and have more characters to play in next weeks match. I prefer making money to beating my face against a brick wall.
Seriously, I think we have already determined your win at all costs, lose and I quit attitude doesn’t sit well with the rest of us Twinbros.
I’ll admit part of me is jealous/envious of some of you and your “never give up, never surrender” mentality. How frekin fantastic would it be to live in a made up world where you delude yourself so emphatically and absolutely that you believe in your own lies. That you still think you stand a chance that you will continue to fight.
And if this is not the case, and you know you lost but still derive fun from trying. Then this is just a gap of understanding that will never be bridged. I play to win its true, but I also enjoy losing when it’s not a blowout and all sides are relatively equal. Knowing this week is a blowout, I simply chose to not partake.
TC here and I fully support SoR spawn camping. There is nothing wrong with it, its a defensive tactic that ensures your enemy does not have access to the map regardless of how “ahead” you are in points.
To those who think it’s honorless and calling for SoR to not do it. The majority ..VAST majority of players play to win, not to “have fun” or “be honorable”. And while there is nothing wrong with TC players views of honor, its laughable that you would try to impose your “morals” on others.
People play to win. Period. If you don’t like the spawn camping either don’t join WvW or man up and try to overcome it.
Actually, I’d set it up so that you wouldn’t earn any points if you didn’t hold an orb, x1 if you have one, x1.5 if you have two, x2 if you have all three. Instead of an “orb buff” for holding them, you get a 5% bonus for each orb held by an enemy.
That way it is a double edged sword… while you hold all three, you gain nicely, but both enemies are tough.
That would only exacerbate the problem, wait..you must be a arenanet employee to come up with that and actually think it was a good idea lol.
I am on SoR and I would like to see more WvW this week, so I have a suggestion. Could TC and ET form an alliance against SoR? That is a reason for the three server system, so players can do that type of thing. I know not everyone would agree, but if the main WvW guilds agreed it might even things up quite a bit.
Not gonna happen. This week will be very boring for a lot of people.
I am not so sure “Tier 3” means much at this point. It only seems like the top two tiers mean something, and that only lasts until people get sick of waiting in lines and hop to other servers to start the whole process again.
This. And even in those top two tiers you really have to look at who’s been there for more then 3 weeks. There were a few (and so long as free transfers stay in place will be more) realms that rise and fall with the influx of PVP transfers.
When RUN loses again with SoR they’ll end up on BG anyway, move along.
Well, we lost to SoS last week, and they’re still here along with all the other guilds who recently transferred on to SoR.. and they work with the other guilds on SoR..Who cares where they came from? Can we make this thread about the match up now?
Not much of a match up, Mara. We will keep fighting, you can count on that, but this whole system is broken.
Just stay motivated, I’m sure if anything we can all learn new stuff out of this match up as we have been each time we fight new servers. We learned so much from SoS last week.
If there is anything TC won’t do is give up. If it seems that way because of the score, then it is only the result of a completely broken tier system. We are all here with bells on.

haha Peetee I have to agree..it’ll be locked before page 3…locked again, because people crying and bantering each other, rather then doing something productive and taking a video or just reporting to Anet so Anet can investigate.

As for the match. ET I don’t know where you all are, but come play, get off the PvE maps.
TC, <3 y’all. You’re fighting over and over, win or lose, and are sitll fighting back. I hope this continues and TC doesn’t give up. It’d make a super boring match. (Loved the stand off on SoR BL for like what 3-4 hours between northern and southern parts of the map.)
1 tip, if you want to take it or not, running in large groups is good, however if you dont have good communication or fast reactions, it can also be a downfall.
Also, hats off to whoever was part of the 3-5man thief group from TC snipping dolyaks. :P

You realize the only reason shes being “honorable” is because she doesn’t want to be bored. She really doesn’t mean any bit of what she said about TC shes just saying it hoping TC will keep playing WvW so she has something to kill. If TC and ET checked out it would be one hell of a boring week for SoR.
. If I had a command tag I’d be going after the server in the lead, and the one that still has all its upgrades. But alas, not a commander and so it seems we will be ignoring SoR on TCBL.
