Balance is important for the game to function as it is intended, but playing for anything other than to win is “scrub” talk, and should be corrected.

I just want a fair battle. Being outnumbered and spawn camped isn’t very fun and not why I payed $60 bucks for the game. I won’t be going to high tier server due to wait times and they have enough people already. I don’t think I’m asking for much here but if someone thinks so then please enlighten me so I can laugh at your hopefully new and more interesting argument. I found a server I liked and I appreciate the suggestions from everyone.

No thanks. Until WvW gets more basic realism is siege warfare your suggestion would break the game. If you could shoot from walls without being obstructed half the time, have cover from the mass AOE which is ridiculous, remove the 5 man AOE limit, put in murder holes, make tower siege actually possible to use,LARGER maps, increase the health of higher tier upgrades, then I’d agree to it cause then we would have some realistic siege warfare.

Hmm not sure then. I had issues yesterday trying to sell gems. The prices were fluctuating so fast that I got errors. I did eventually get them sold. Perhaps its something along those lines.

Ok so I got an email about there being deals for the next 3 days starting on Friday. Was thinking about buying Gems this week and I’d like to know if you guys are going to discount on the Gems or not. If so I’d prefer to wait till Friday if theres a deal.

Thats probably why they do it. Specially when your just walking along then BOOM you get attacked by 10+ people. If repairs were gone in WvW I’d be more inclined to defend a keep or tower to the fullest instead of jumping ship when the gate or wall is at 10% just to avoid a repair bill.

You own the entire map. What else do you expect? Anything that DB ever has is too far away from spawn to keep defended.

Can you please manually move servers to the appropriate tiers? I play on HoD and have been ever since August 30. I’v never switched, thought about it but never have. I’m honestly really tired of seeing my server getting crushed. Were outnumbered. We have been losing for weeks. Other servers are probably in this same situation. So please for the love of god manually move us to a tier we can actually have a chance. I don’t wan’t to wait a few more weeks for us to SLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWLY move down.

My home is HoD. I’m not sure I wanna leave or not. Its not just WvW but the server in general seems rather dead guilds not helpfull and difficult to make friends. Ever since I’v started playing the server I’v made but one friend but then again me and her don’t chat too often. So not sure what to do yet.

Your suggestions seem to revolve around making WvW similar to sPvP. Personally I like to think of WvW as invaders from another realm (Server vs server) invade your server. You fight with whatever equipment you can find. This is just one big dynamic event and your goal is to push tme out. To do this you capture as many of the strategic points as possible.(Towers keeps ect….)Whoever holds the most for the longest successfully starves the enemy out and their force to retreat. I sort of like it this way but I don’t see real hardcore PvPers be focused on WvW. WvW is basically PvP+PvE.

HoD died like a month ago, majority vacated that server enmass over the course of a week or so all thanks to a certain coalition leaving due to Wv3. Try to get on the bigger servers if you can.

I figured HoD died from looking at WvW. Rather sad score.

So HoD(Henge of Denravi) from what I’v seen when I came back from break has a horrible, god awful community. (It could be the game in general but IDK) No one comes to help kill champs or its a chore and ends up being a waste of time to do so. The guilds I’v been in have been a joke. I specifically ask for a helpful guild. Instead I get guilds that lie to me about that just to get me to join and increase their member count. Out of the 30+ people online NONE of them are able to help me? I go out of my way to help people. Yesterday it was champ spawn spree in queensdale and I helped people at everyone of them. But when it comes to me needing help whether it be for champs, skillpoints, story, ect…its just near impossible. This is beginning to push me to the point of returning the favor and doing what been done to me in turn. I’ll try a different server instead, but which one? Anyone know a server thats able to be transferred to right now that has an amazingly nice,friendly,helpful community?

So yea…I need a mentor or a guild to teach me how to PvP in this game. Its not really a jump in and have fun for me like I’d like. I’m having trouble making builds, getting a good team, and overall just trying my best in PvP(Staying alive and actually getting a kill, or even just fail to contribute to the team). So instead of random tips from random players I’d prefer a sPvP mentor/guild. I mainly play Warrior and Mesmer for PvP but I’m really starting to enjoy Mesmer even tho I die all the time and having a hard time killing people. (Happens on either characters) I’m on HoD Henge of Denravi. I can server transfer if need be.

No but seriously a lot of these bans seem random. So really there isn’t much you can do. Just go about your business and hope for the best unfortunately.

If that is truly the case then the person who is doing all the BAD banning should be fired, or at the least have to answer the phone and explain and prove why he/she banned legitimate players.

Last night my account was terminated WRONGFULLY for accused botting/hacking or anything of that nature. Today when I wake up and try to log in it says that my account has been suspended because someone unauthorized has been on the account. Well considering the fact my account was terminated while I was playing I doubt that. Nevertheless I need to get in contact with support to unsuspend my account. My ticket will have the more private details.

Hello , i heard right now from my guild that if we play or walk near a bot we get reported 15 times by the bots and make our account banned is that true ? if it is true i hope Anet is going to hurry and do something about it , I realy dont wanna be banned for mistaken report.

There is nothing automatic about their bot bans.

If so then whoever is responsible for all these innocent bans needs fired.

So I’v been playing GW 2 for about 2 weeks or so and my highest character to date is 38. Granted I have a few others in the 30 area with different races so I’d like to think I’v gotten a taste of a decent bit of dynamic events. And with that I have to say a vast majority of the dynamic events I’v encountered are very similar or same objectives but re skinned. Thats really how to feels to me. To be honest that kinda puts a damper on lvling for me. With the different diversities in culture I’d have expected much more exotic problems from each race or area. So if its at all possible could there be some more variety in dynamic events. As of now to me they are reskins of the same or similar objectives.

To a point it is a “rich kid” thing. You spent 100g to buy what basically is an obnoxious marker on everyone’s map. You deserve no respect as a leader for that. So no one gives you any. You need to EARN respect by being a leader. If you can’t handle that then you truly enforce the term “rich kid”.

I’m sorry but I disagree. Its not a guide issue but the fact these places are overtuned. I don’t want gear handed to me I like challenge. I left WoW mostly because of how much of a joke it is to “earn” gear. The 1-3shot mechanics throughout these places are extremely irritating along with whenever your downed then manage to get back up only to be downed AGAIN because you didn’t get a chance to move. Then there are some fights where the indication to dodge something is so obscure with all the flashy burn and lighting effects on the boss its just ridiculous. There needs to be a cast bar under their name so I can time myself properly without having to disrupt my “rotation” just so I don’t get 1 shotted. Without that I’m basically just auto atacking and TRYING to toss in other skills. (Good example of this is the 2nd boss on the option 2 in AC) With all of these problems and much more you get very lackluster drops for all the stress you go through. Take my opinion for whatever you will but the dungeons in this game need to go back to the drawing board.
