It makes the queues really bad here on Vizunah.
I couldn’t log into one of our bordelands without a queue at 4pm GMT+1.
This has never happened, even the week GW2 was launched.

First of all i hate Vizunah’s forum warriors as much as you do, but i guess every server has some and we can’t do anything about it.

Now to the point : I’m almost sorry to tell you this, but 3W was never a game about fighting skills. It was about organization skills during the pre season.

You can’t expect bringing 60 or 80 people at the same place fighting each other with culling and lags and talk about skill. Any serious sPvP player laughs at our “fights” whether you are from Vizu or any server.

Yet most of the servers prefer to speak about “fighting abilities”, and we all know that it won’t make you win.

I can certainly understand most of the people that faced Vizunah didn’t like us.
I can understand that you think we fight much worse than some of you guys.

however i don’t really like the comparison you made about martial arts and a gun. Arenanet gave us a gun, we picked it up, and you came to fight with your fists. We play by the rules that exist at the moment.

People like to complain so you’ll see Vizunians complain when we lose and when we win.
Did the Vizunians felt it was fair to lose against NA players ? Certainly not, but who cares ?

If you don’t acknowledge our capacity to fight or our capacity to siege, i’d like you guys to acknowledge our capacity to organize. It was such a hard to job to gather everyone, to plan night shifts and morning operations, to coordinate attacks accross differents maps during mid-day, and so much more, that it makes me sad that no one even took the time to think about it.

Organization was the weapon Arenanet gave us for the pre season matchups. IF it changes now, Vizunah will adapt, and will try to become even stronger.

Desolation borderlands are horrible since the beginning of the week. Each fight on the map results in massive lags for everyone even if you are at the opposite side of it.

The intensity we see each night is really hurting the server that holds the map.

I think we talk about random players discovering the WvW maps and involving them into battle.
You probably know much less about this than Elona, Deso or Vizu since SFR is a “flavour of the month” server.

You probably want me to upload vids of your “30 man zerg” that in fact is way above 50 ?
You probably want me to say that you never have to back up because you can beat anyone ?

Not so hard getting down Visu’s zerg when it’s made of at least 20 different guild tags. Being asked about “fighting” from a guild that just uses culling to smash pugs is quite funny. Do you fight ? Nah you just move forward hitting something that isn’t even on your screen and you can’t see. Even a bot could do this.
It’s way less trouble making you run and take your points at the opposite side of the map.

As i said 3 or 4 weeks ago we are in T1 since so many weeks, and we’ve never seen one server that masters the zerg as you do (the whole serv i mean). You may want to ask our friends from Desolation, Elona and even the former BT guys if you don’t believe me.
We try to counter your tactics with our tactics, and we are not even sorry if you don’t like it. At the end of the day, the winner takes it all.

And at least your forum warriors show some fair play. I’ve never seen a Vizu or Desolation guy begging in here to hit server X because he hates them.
Respect is earned, and you are earning it. You stick to your server and you fight, this is what we like because this is what we do.

It should have been done during the first week of GW2, when all servers had balanced populations and no idea what 3W was. There would be far less dead servers either on US ranking or EU.

They were tired because it’s hard to counter PrX from 2 am til 6am GMT+1.

@Jackie : Sorry for the late answer, i have to make my point a bit easier to understand.
I think yesterday one of your guys told us you raid with 25 to 35 people and i believe this is very true. However it’s quite often that we see you (or not) with Seafarer’s invaders at the back of your group, making it “more than just VoTF”.

@Novalight : Yesterday evening i was running with CPC and i believe we were close to 20 thanks to a few adds. We fought versus [BG] from Desolation a few times during our raid, and everytime we found them they were alone and probably 15. It has been really close and yet we won most of the time, but they didn’t call for reinforcements.
I even have some really good videos about it !

Now we also encountered VoTF when we were alone just east of our spawn tower, and we died before we could see one ennemy. Our scout told us where they came from, the video i have shows no mesmer elite nor curtain, and yet we witnessed the numbers after we were eating the floor.

While i agree 25 people isn’t called a huge zerg, i think this kind of clipping happens when you fight at a 40vs40 scale. Or in that case a 60vs20.
I think there are still CPC teeth and bones at this very place

I find it quite funny that you guys from Deso and SFR complain about the zerging strategy VS offers, and that VS players complain about the zerging of the others.

From the words i can read on this thread no one likes it. VS feels forced to Zerg by both servers, and both servers feel forced by VS.

What are we waiting to change this ? We would be so happy to bring back our multi attacks strategies that we tested a long time ago versus AS for example.

The real reason forcing us on VS to zerg is that we do not have any guild (not even one) that can match the numbers of : ZDS, VOTF, IRON and i probably miss more. Not even speaking about offpeak hours.

So we have to find a counter, and then counter the counter, and then… yeah we crash the Desomap because everyone is at the same place/same time.

It makes us as sad as you probably, but the only solution to big guilds when you have none is to bring more players.

We never had 10 ballistas.
You weren’t alone from SFR in our bay, the whole map was here.
It took 20 mins because you came back 3 times and Deso too before we could repair our doors.

It’s wasn’t the most fun of the night because of the massive lag we all had, but it was certainly the most epic. Vizunah was very proud to ninja capture Garrison during this fight.

@Rhino : we appreciate your concern about Vizunah’s ranking, but at the moment we are nowhere near T2. Maybe it will happen in the future, there’s a good chance.

The current meta game is changing, this is very true, it doesn’t look like the fights we had with Elona or Old school Deso at all. You guys on SFR, BT, Deso make it change everyday. Servers had to adapt to counter Vizu in T1, and Vizu has to adapt to counter you. If we fight less and play everyday more with the towers and keeps it’s because we are evolving.
Not so long ago the fights in the open were something like 20 vs 20, even when BT was here with RG. I believe our biggest crew on Vizunah is probably WL that can put around 25 people nowadays on the maps. We are not suited for the fights SFR and Deso offer atm. VoTF are too many, IRON are too many, ZDs are too many. It has nothing to do with aknowledging your strenghts. You guys are very good at what you do. We just don’t have the same numbers in our guilds.

Now we understand that you’d prefer us out of the towers, and you probably understand what we’d prefer it too. But we won’t go fighting a lost cause, we take the points where they are.

And that’s why vizunah is Vizunah.

About the blob thingy, i think the explanation is a misunderstanding. We are not thinking that you have more numbers overall during the week. Well you had it last week but it was kind of different.
Vizunah players are sometimes angry because of the way you play. When it’s “prime time” and you are at full force, your server moves are the biggest we’ve ever seen in numbers. You never hesitate to put more than 40 or 50 people at the same place to take a keep. Who can blame you ? It works. But trust me, since 15 weeks we’re in T1, not a single server has ever used this tactic of stacking people as good as SFR does.

Hence the “qq” about blobs, and the misunderstanding beetween tactics at full force and overall numbers.

I think they did report, i wasn’t on the map. And yes one arrowcart does multiple red AoE circles at the same time

But whatever your resolution is, you can’t place an arrowcart and shoot the inside as it’s shown on Pryda’s screen without a zoomhack.

You got me wrong Gravity. Your sentence about “bringing in other guilds” is just false. We were once in contact with PrX, and i guess you know where they are. The answer i made was to correct you, not to tell you we don’t have nightshifts. We have no new guilds doing the nightcapping. And why would we complain about it since we dominate it ?

Vizunah’s strengh is in organization, and when SFR will understand that organization is different from numbers, the server will be scary.

Truth be told, we asked for help when Ruin came to EU, and we dont see much threat when fighting your night force.

I for one would really like the culling patch we had last week.
I always know my allies will follow the allies they see so it doesn’t change much for us on VS, because we have many pugs and don’t need as many coordination as guilds like RG do.
But with this culling patch, i can’t see any ennemy and it gets frustrating.

Overall this evening on BT borderlands was meh, but i have to congratulate SFR for their numbers and BT for their resistance.

As for us, people from Vizunah, we were proud to finally show SFR what we can do when we play. The weekend is always bad on VS, but sunday evening is the beginning of our weeks. We weren’t at full force because of the christmas event, but i guess you felt the difference.

I heard BT lost a lot of people, i know VS is tired and every new opponent is stronger. If we can’t score at night it is because we don’t have what it takes, not because we don’t want to.

@Same : every VS player that knows WvW isn’t complaining, wasn’t complaining, and won’t be complaining. We know how the game works and what you said is so true : We are far from the most skilled (i’d say it’s AS) but we are consistent and we play the long term.

It’s been 3 months long with every server wanting to beat us, some had fairly good success and they make us improve our game everyday. So there’s no way we get bored as long as good & fair servers keep coming up for the fight.

For the record : there is no double teaming against Blacktide as the love beetween the two french servers is kind of counter productive. Even Blacktide people will tell you this.

And about your point : I, as a french player on a french server, would prefer you don’t come to EU. It will only destabilize the rankings and you will find no more than 40 ennemies during your prime time.

@Same : 15 Vizu players on vizumap because we had no opponents, all the forces on CBE and ASmap, no one on BTmap.

While we had superior numbers on ASmap, we didn’t on every other. We just switch maps back to Vizuhome when it becomes messy.

@Centrix : when im telling you this is the first day we attacked BT before AS, i do not need for your permission to say that. I am on Vizu. I play there and I sometimes lead. I know what we do.
The fact you guys left all together right after the loss of your tower may be the “end of your WvW time for today”. I can understand that. Tho i’m not sure why [nug] and friends ([Xaoc],…)finished their playtime all together at the same time after the loss of a tower at 4pm GMT+1. Or why our people saw you on other maps. Hence my small words. Nothing personnal.

Yes we would need both servers because BT is really strong.
But i still don’t get why you’d complain about that since BT is an ally of several EU servers that has been created to beat T1 (that is to say Vizunah).

About the non-fighting beetween AS and VS, i was leading this afternoon on AS borderland and you guys just quitted when we did a little strategic move by attack south while AS was attacking bay.
That may be the first time in 9 days that we attacked BT before AS. Hold your ground guys.
That being said, we never were in chat or planned anything with AS, and fought them as much as possible. At least they don’t quit when they have to defend 2 places at the same time.
